This study assessed operationally collectable residue streams from three case crops tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.), paprika, and large chili pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) in Bogor Regency, Indonesia, and used the results to construct preliminary regional scenarios. The analysis integrated archived farm-observation summaries from 2023–2025, production logs from a BRIN-KIST official development assistance (ODA) greenhouse platform, and crop statistics from Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS). The ODA platform comprises Korean-style multi-span plastic greenhouses operated by local growers under continuing capacity-building support. Its tomato unit uses indeterminate cultivars, whereas most tomato production in Bogor is open-field, predominantly determinate, and highly heterogeneous, including container- and polybag-based cultivation. The archived farm summaries reported operational residue fractions (fop) of 7.5% for tomato, 4.3% for paprika, and 11% for large chili pepper. The fop boundary includes in-season pruned stems and leaves, non-marketable and fallen fruits, and grading losses relative to marketable yield; end-of-cycle whole-plant removal was not consistently documented. Because traceable farm-level records of crop-by-year residue mass, marketable yield, area, and replication were unavailable, the fractions were treated as provisional project-level parameters rather than statistically validated biological residue ratios. Applying the 2023 BPS production data yielded operational residue estimates of 482.6 t fresh matter (FM) for tomato, 0.08 t FM for paprika, and 324.1 t FM for large chili pepper. A conditional 2024 harvested-area scenario, which assumed that 2023 yields remained unchanged, yielded 454.2, 0.77, and 385.0 t FM, respectively. Korean greenhouse coefficients were used solely to illustrate non-equivalent accounting boundaries and were neither directly compared with nor transferred to Bogor. The results prioritize tomato and large chili pepper for a traceable measurement campaign and define the minimum data protocol required for a defensible regional inventory.
