This study explored the formation and maintenance of health-promoting behaviors through therapeutic agriculture among rural return migrants, guided by Pender’s Health Promotion Model. Participants were 36 rural return migrants attending therapeutic agriculture programs in J Province. Following Institutional Review Board approval, semi-structured interviews were conducted from July 24 to August 20, 2026. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. Participants described interaction with nature, community activities, accomplishment, and self-efficacy, alongside changes in health perceptions and the practice and maintenance of health-promoting behaviors. Repeated practices were described as becoming part of daily routines. The findings offer an interpretation of participants’ experiences and a basis for therapeutic agriculture programs and community health promotion support for rural return migrants.
