목적 : 장애인의 독립적인 일상생활활동을 위해 보조공학과 보조기기에 대한 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 연구는 전라북 도 전주시의 작업치료사와 보조공학사를 대상으로 WHO가 제시한 100가지의 필수 보조기기 목록 중 국내 실정에 적합한 우선순위 품목들에 대해 조사하고자 한다.
연구방법 : 전주시에서 근무하고 있는 작업치료사와 보조공학사 50명을 대상으로 이동용, 시각, 청각, 의사소통, 인지, 환경 등 영역별 보조기기 우선순위에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 설문은 WHO 필수 보조기기 목록 국제 설문 조사를 바탕으로 구성하였으며, 총 6개 영역(이동성, 시각, 청각, 의사소통, 인지, 환경), 100개 품목 중 참여자 자신이 가장 중요하다고 생각하는 50개 품목을 선택하도록 요청하였다. 수집된 자료는 엑셀을 이용하여 최빈값을 산출한 후, 보조기기 목록의 우선순위로 나열되었다.
결과 : 각 영역별 우선순위 품목으로 이동용 보조기기 영역의 전동휠체어(80%), 시각 보조기기 영역에서는 저 시력용 안경(82%), 청각 보조기기 영역의 귀속형/고막형 보청기(76%) 등이 가장 우선순위를 보이는 품목으로 나타났다. 의사소통 보조기기 영역의 우선순위 품목으로는 의사소통 보드/책(70%)으로 나타났으며, 인지 보조기기 영역의 휴대용 GPS 추적기(67%), 환경 보조기기 영역의 목욕/샤워 의자(78%) 등이 높은 우선순위를 보이는 품목으로 조사되었다.
결론 : 본 연구를 통해 작업치료사와 보조공학사가 인식하는 장애인 필수 보조기기 우선순위 품목을 파악할 수 있었으며, 향후 영역별 보조기기 제공을 위한 기초자료가 될 것으로 사료된다.

Objective : The need for assistive technology and assistive devices has been increasing for the independent daily activities of the disabled. This study aims to investigate the priority assistive products list for the disabled recognized by occupational therapists and assistive technology professionals in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do.
Methods : We conducted a survey on the priority assistive products list in each area, such as mobility, vision, hearing, communication, cognition, and environment in 50 occupational therapists and assistive technology professionals working in Jeonju. The questionnaire used in this study consisted of 100 questionnaires based on the priority assistive products list of WHO and pilot study conducted at Jeonbuk Assistive Device Center and Jeonbuk National University Hospital. The collected data were calculated as the mode using Microsoft Excel 2018.
Results : As a priority product for each area, electrically powered wheelchairs in the mobility assistive products, low vision glasses in the visual impairment device products, and in the ear/in the canal hearing aids in hearing assistive products are showed the highest priority. In addition, communication boards/books in communication products, portable GPS trackers in assistive products for cognitive impairment, and bath/ shower chairs in environment products were surveyed as high priority products.
Conclusions : We were able to identify the priority assistive products list for the disabled recognized by occupational therapists and assistive technology professionals through this study, and it is expected to provide basic data for the provision of assistive devices in various areas in the future.
