파레시아는 미셸 푸코가 제기한 개념으로 ‘진실을 행하는 것’이라는 의미인 ‘진실-말하기’라고 명명할 수 있다. ‘진실-말하기’는 철학적 논의뿐 아니라 문학에서도 유용한 분석도구로 활용할 수 있다. 문학사는 각 연대마다 진실을 말하는 용기를 가진 자의 기록이기 때문이다. 본 논문은 파레시아의 특성이 현대시에 어떠한 양상으로 표출되었는지를 파악하는 것이다. 이를 통해 2010년대 이후 시 지형도의 한 단면을 분석 할 수 있을 것이다. 먼저 파레시아의 개념과 특성을 폭넓게 분석한다. 파레시아는 솔직함, 진실, 위험, 비판, 의무의 특성을 가지고 있다. 논문에서는 파레시아의 특성이 현대시와 어떤 영향관계를 갖고 현실인식을 드러내는지를 고구한다. 이러한 텍스트로 이산하와 김안의 시를 통해 정치적 파레시아와 윤리적 파레시아의 특성을 해명한다. 결론적으로 정치적 파레시아는 위험-말하기의 특성을, 윤리적 파레시아는 비판-말하기의 특성을 가지고 있음을 해명하였다. 이를 통해 시적 현실을 새롭게 파악하는 분석도구로서 파레시아가 폭넓게 사용될 수 있다는 학술적 의의를 가진다.

Parresia is a concept proposed by Michel Foucault. Parresia can be named ‘truth-speaking,’ meaning ‘one doing the truth.’ ‘Truth-telling’ can be used as a useful analytical tool not only in philosophical discussions but also in literature. This is because the history of literature is the record of those who have the courage to tell the truth in their own period. This thesis is to understand how the characteristics of Parresia are expressed in modern poetry. Through this, it will be possible to analyze a section of the poetic topographic map after the 2010s. First, the concept and characteristics of Parresia are broadly analyzed. Parresia is characterized by honesty, truth, risk, criticism and duty. This thesis examines how the characteristics of Parresia have influential relationship with contemporary poetry and reveal the perception of reality. With these texts, characteristics of Political Parresia and Ethical Parresia are elucidated by looking at some poems by Lee San Ha and Kim An. In conclusion, the study clarified that the Political Parresia has the characteristics of risk-speaking, and the Ethical Parresia has the characteristics of criticism-speaking. As such, this thesis has academic significance as it shows that paresia can be widely used as an analytical tool in terms of identifying the poetic reality from a different perspective.
