In today's business transactions, it is more and more common to see that the buyers are allowed some grace period before they settle the account with the supplier. In this regard, we analyze the problem of determining the buyer's EOQ when the supplier allows day-terms credit. For the analysis, it is assumed that the buyer's demand rate is a function of the on -hand inventory level and the relevant mathematical model is developed.
This paper analyses the tool switching problem in the dynamic environment, where parts to be processed on a flexible machine arrive randomly. As the total number of tools required to Process a set of parts on the machine is generally larger than the available magazine storage capacity, tool switches between parts are usually necessary. We assume that tool switching must be made just before the processing of the parts. Since the time required for tool switches can be significant relative to processing time and cause the processing of parts to be delayed, it is desirable to minimize the number of tool switches. Therefore, we present one heuristic algorithm to minimize the total number of tool switches and the t)reposed heuristic is compared with the KTNS (Keep Tool Needed Soonest) policy on randomly generated problems.
식물플랑크톤에 의한 요소의 분해속도와 요소형태질소의 흡수속도를 한강수계에 위치한 6개의 인공호의 표수층(0~3m)에서 측정하였다. 명조건하에서 측정한 분해속도와 흡수속도는 각각 2~70 μg ureaC m-3 h-1과 7~170 μg ureaN m-3 h-1였고, 암조건하에서는 각각 1~16 μg ureaC m-3 h-1과 3~120 μg ureaN m-3 h-1였다. 이들 속도는 클로로필 a 현존량 및 광합성과 상관관계가 있었다. 1일 당 분해량과 흡수속도는 각각 0.1~1.0 mgC m-3 day-1과 0.1~3.8 mgN m-3 day-1이였고, 이들 속도로부터 표수층에서 요소의 체류시간은 1~100일로 추정되었다. 요소의 분해속도와 요소형태질소의 흡수속도가 보여준 양의 상관관계와 양자의 비는 요소가 분해된 양만큼의 요소형태질소가 식물플랑크톤의 질소원으로 이용되었다는 것을 나타낸다.
In order to understand the formation of polymeric membranes or microcellular foams, phase separation phenomena in polymer solutions should be understood. The present review examines the progress made in the understanding of these phenomena, with emphasis on selected polymer-solvent systems. In the case of polymer-solvent systems, coarsening is of particular importance as it may come to dominate or overshadow spinodal decomposition effects within the first minute or few minutes of phase separation. In this article, some of the most important theoretical models of late stage of phase separation are reviewed, and recent experimental studies on coarsening in polymer-solvent systems are studied.
A bottom-up model for the formation of GMCs is described, where the observed GMCs are the aggregates of less massive clouds. The aggregates are getting more and more massive in the process of consecutive collision between clouds.
