        정신건강 문제를 가진 교정시설 수형자가 증가하고 있지만, 이들을 분리 수용할 시설 및 치료를 담당할 전문 인력이 부족한 실정이다. 정신질환을 가진 수형자들은 일반 수형자들보다 규칙위반으로 징벌을 받을 기회가 더 높고 자살 위험에도 노출되어 있다. 또한 치료받지 못하고 출소한 경우 사회에 재적응하지 못하고 다시 재범에 빠질 위험도 크다 하겠다. 본 연구의 목적은 수형자의 정신건강문제를 파악하고 정신건강서비스의 개선방안을 모색해보는 것이다. 구체적인 연구 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 수형자들의 정신건강에 대한 관련 연구를 검토한다. 둘째, 수형자를 위한 정신건강 서비스 현황을 탐색한다. 셋째, 정신건강서비스 증진 방안으로 조기발견을 위한 정기적인 정신상태검사와 심리치료 프로그램 강화, 전문 인력 충원과 치료시설의 확충, 지역사회 관련기관과의 네트워크 구축 등을 고찰한다.

        The polysaccharides from fruit body of Auricularia auricula and Tremella fuciformis were extracted using hot water, and partially purified through ethanol precipitation and dialysis. Free radical scavenging activities of the crude and purified polysaccharides were examined and compared each other. Free radical scavenging activities of the partially purified polysaccharides were higher than those of crude polysaccharides. DPPH free radical, ABTS radical and SOD-like activities of partially purified polysaccharide at 1 mg/mL of concentration from A. auricula were 61.7, 9.6 and 38.9%, respectively, while those of T. fuciformis were 9.6, 5.7 and 15.3%, respectively. Results of site and nonsite specific hydroxyl radical scavenging activities indicated that the partially purified polysaccharide fractions from A. auricula and T. fuciformis exhibited the hydroxyl radical scavenging effect by hydrogen donating ability and iron ion chelating ability. Also, reducing powers of A. auricula and T. fuciformis were 77.1 and 14.7% of BHT (0.1%) as standard, respectively. It was suggested that antioxidant activities of A. auricula were about 1.4~6.4 times higher than those of T. fuciformis due to different levels of polyphenol content.

        A fiber fraction (Aloe cellulose), the by-product obtained from Aloe vera gel processing was freeze dried and investigated for in vitro glucose/ bile acid retarding effects of powdered sample (100 mesh) comparing with commercial α-cellulose as a reference sample. We also examined the effectiveness of physiological functionality such as the antiobesity and anti-constipation on Sprague-Dawley (SD) rat. The Aloe cellulose powders during in vitro dialysis experiment for 2 hours exhibited the glucose and bile acid retarding index of 20.32-35.2% and 53.13-28.30%, respectively. Especially, freeze dried aloe cellulose showed the 2.5 and 1.2-6 times higher effect on in vitro glucose and bile acid retardation than those of α-cellulose. These relatively good retarding effects on glucose and bile acid diffusion suggest a potential of preventing from diabetes and arteriosclerosis of some extent. Also, the results from animal experiments on SD rats fed a high-fat diet for 4 weeks suggested that Aloe cellulose might be used as a novel dietary fiber showing an effective anti-obesity and anti-constipation effect.

        The fibrous material fraction as a by-product from the commercial aloe vera gel processing was obtained and freeze dried. The physicochemical characteristics such as the proximate composition, crystalline/surface structures and several physical functionalities including the water holding capacity (WHC), swelling capacity (SW), oil holding capacity (OHC), emulsion/foam properties and viscosity properties of this powdered sample (100 mesh) were investigated and analyzed by comparison with commercial α-cellulose as a reference sample. The total dietary fiber content of powdered sample was very high as much as 87.5%, and the insoluble dietary and soluble dietary fiber content ratios were 77.6 and 22.4%, respectively. The FT-IR spectrum of powdered sample showed a typical polysaccharide property and exhibited a x-ray diffraction pattern for cellulose III and IV like structure. SW (8.24±0.15 mL/g), WHC(6.40±0.19 g water/g solid) and OHC(10.32±0.29 g oil/g solid) of freeze dried aloe cellulose were about 3.3, 1.4 and 2 times higher than those of commercial α-cellulose, respectively. Aloe cellulose (~2%, w/v) alone had no foam capacity while improved the foam stability of protein solution (1% albumin+0.5% CaCl2) by factor of 300%. Emulsion capacity of 2%(w/v) aloe cellulose was about 70% level of 0.5%(w/v) xanthan gum, but its emulsion stability was about 1.2 times higher than that of xanthan gum. Also, aloe cellulose containing CMC (carboxyl methyl cellulose) of 0.3%(w/v) showed a very good dispersity. Aloe cellulose dispersion of above 1%(w/v) exhibited higher pseudoplasticity and concentration dependence than those of α-cellulose dispersion, indicating the viscosity properties for new potential usage such as an excellent thickening agent.

        The analysis of an art trend in the principle dimension starts by observing the object of work in the perspective of formative composition and recognizing it as a universal system. It can be said that it is consistent with an interpretation method for a form theory of formal history by Heinrich Wölfflin, a leading form critic in art criticism. Hence, the purpose of this study was to find out what are the formative principles in Renaissance Classicism as a design principle to be applicable to modern fashion by reviewing the formative characteristics of Renaissance Classicism Architecture with which Wölfflin directly dealt. As for the theoretical literature review, I used Wölfflin's theoretical framework and looked at the Renaissance Classicism Architecture that he studied and examined the possibility of utilizing his theory as a layout principle and the characteristics. As for analysis of design cases, I applied the aforementioned architecture layout principle to modern fashion and conducted case study analysis to delve into distinctive layout principles found in fashion. The study showed that the Renaissance Classicism Architectural Style is marked by linearity, planarity, closing and multiple unity: linearity was expressed in the observation form in fixed frontal view and an emphasis on a tangible silhouette homeogenous and definite line structures; planarity was achieved in the form of paralleled layers of frontal view element, planarity style, and identical and proportional repetition of various sizes.; closing signified the pursuit of complete and clear regularity, and architecture developed in a constructive phase through organizational inevitability and absolute invariability.; multiple unity was expressed in self-completedness and independent parallel of discrete forms and harmony of emphasized individual elements in a totality. Applying these layout characteristics of the Renaissance Classicism Architectural style and to see their individual expressive features, I found out that in adopting layout principles of the Renaissance Classicism Architecture to modern fashion, it turned out to be an emphasis of individual silhouettes, a flattened space, completed objects, organic harmony among independent parts: the emphasis of individual silhouettes was expressed in individual definitiveness of formative lines of clothes in accordance with body joints and an emphasis on formative lines of clothes; the flattened space was marked by single layer structure, planarity of elements of clothes, and listing arrangement by appropriate proportion.; the completedness of the objects was expressed by the stationary state where overall image is fixed, the construction of homogeneous and complete space, and absolute inevitability of internal layout in proportion; lastly, organic harmony of independent parts was stressed in independent completedness of each detail, and organic harmony of the whole. The expressive features would lead to a unique expression style of linear emphasis, proportion, constructive forms, and two-dimensional arrangement. The meaning of this study is follows: The characteristics of art school of thought are given shape by appling & analysing the architectural layout principles of historical art school of thought to modern fashion in the view point of formal construction dimension. The applied possibility of historical art school of thought as the source of inspiration about the fashion design is extended.

        A dark brownish pigment from fruit body of Auricularia auricula was isolated and characterized in this report. The pigment was obtained with a yield of 0.61%(w/w) by alkaline extraction and subsequent purification steps. It showed the positive FeCl3 test which was the indication of phenolic compounds. A synthetic melanin showed a similar spectrometric characteristics to the pigment extract regarding a characteristic UV absorption between 200-250 nm and infrared absorptions profiles in the finger print region including absorption peaks at 1701 and 1624 cm-1. Its element analysis indicated that its atomic copmposition is close to that of DOPA melanin (eumelanin). With the result of its antioxidant activity in the TNBT (5-thio-2-nitrobenzoic acid) assay, we concluded that the dark brownish pigment from A. auricula is a melanin-like compound having a powerful antioxidative activity.

        흑목이 버섯의 자실체로부터 열수추출에 의해 얻은 조다당 분획물은 흑갈색 색소를 함유하였으므로 활성탄에 의한 탈색공정이 검토된 바 있다. 하지만 활성탄에 흡착된 색소 성분의 회수 및 활성탄의 재사용이 필요하였으므로 용매추출법을 이용한 용출 실험을 실시하였다. 증류수, 중성용매(3종) 및 알칼리 용매(4종) 등 8종 용매에 의한 1단 침출 실험 결과, 색소성분의 용해성은 1 M KOH 용액이 가장 우수하였다. 이러한 최적 용매인 1M KOH 용액을 이용하여 용액의 부피 및 시간에 따른 용출효과를 조사한 결과, 용액의 부피는 활성탄 1 g당 45 mL에서 최적의 용출량을 보였으며, 10분 이내에 빠르게 용출평형에 도달하였고, 용출공정의 용출속도는 2차 속도식으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 또, 25oC에서 1 M KOH 용액에 의한 다단침출의 실험 결과, 7단계 침출에서 최종 용출효율은 88.9%이었다. 그러나 온도가 증가할수록 용출효율이 급격히 높아져 95oC에서는 단일용출만으로 82.6%의 용출효율을 보였다. 한편, 용출 후의 재사용된 활성탄의 흡착효율(75.3%)은 신선한 활성탄(78.5%)과 거의 비슷하였고, 다당 정제율도 거의 비슷하여(1.21-1.25배) 재생 가능함을 보였다. 따라서, 흑목이 버섯의 흑갈색 성분의 탈색 후 흡착된 활성탄으로부터 용매추출을 이용한 효율적인 색소성분의 회수 및 활성탄 재생 공정의 가능성이 확인되었다.

        In vitro physiological functions such as jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis) urease inhibitory activity and retarding effect of glucose/bile acid of Aloe vera gel concentrated by the optimized DIS (Dewatering Impregnation & Soaking) process conditions were examined. Urease inhibitory activity of DIS aloes ranged from 84.6 to 94.4%, which was similar to or higher than 86.3% of fresh aloe. Also, urease inhibitory activity of DIS aloes was maintained at initial levels after heat treatment (90oC, 10 min.) and drying treatment (freeze or hot air drying). Urease inhibition pattern from Lineweaver-Burk plot indicated general non-competitive inhibition, and inhibition constants (KIE and KIES) of DIS aloes were 41-149 and 87-163 μL/mL, respectively. DIS(glucose) and DIS (polyethylene glycol) exhibited the highest retarding effect of glucose and bile acid. Their retarding effects were about 1.6 and 1.8 folds higher than that of fresh aloe after 0.5 and 1 hr of the dialysis, respectively. Conclusively, the above in vitro physiological functions of Aloe vera gel concentrated by DIS process suggested that aloe products treated with DIS would have the potential benefits for protection against Helicobacter pylori and reduction of blood glucose and cholesterol levels.

        흑목이 버섯의 자실체로부터 열수추출에 의해 흑갈색 색소를 함유한 조다당(crude polysaccharide)을 분획하였고, 이 조다당 분획의 흑갈색 색소 성분을 탈색 제거하기 위해 활성탄을 이용한 흡착공정을 검토하였다. 흡착 평형은 10분 이내의 빠른 시간에 도달하였으며, 최적의 흡착 조건은 pH 7.0 및 온도 40oC에서 조다당 용액 1 mL당 활성탄 16.7 mg을 첨가하였을 때 얻어졌다. 이 때의 최대 흡착효율은 약 80%이었고, 색소 성분의 제거로 다당은 정제되어 1.25배의 정제율을 나타내었다. 한편, 활성탄에 의한 색소의 등온흡착은 Langmuir 등온식에 따랐으며, 흡착속도는 2nd order model 식으로 나타낼 수 있었다. 또, 흡착은 확산을 통해 조절되는 물리적 흡착공정인 것으로 나타났다. 흑목이 버섯 조다당으로부터의 활성탄에 의한 색소흡착 공정은 그동안 보고된 바 없으며, 경제적이고 간편하여 향후 흑목이 버섯 조다당의 색소 제거와 정제 및 이에 의한 다당 정제공정으로서의 가능성이 있는 것으로 판단하였다.

        The structural and physicochemical properties of dried aloe vera gel by DIS (dewatering impregnation soaking) process under optimum conditions were investigated. FT-IR spectra for dried samples of DIS aloes showed the typical patterns of standard aloe polysaccharide, and surface structures by SEM (scanning electron microscopy) were similar to a gel-like structure. In case of physicochemical properties of dried aloe samples by DIS process, solubilities and swelling powers of control (not osmotic treated aloe), DIS (S) and DIS (G), samples treated by osmotic solution of 60% sucrose/0.25% NaCl and 50% glucose/0.5% NaCl, were 48.3-57.3% and 8.3-11.7%, respectively, showing no significant differences among samples, but swelling power of DIS (PEG), sample treated by using 50% polyethylene glycol as an osmotic agent was about 5 times higher that of control. Also, water holding capacities of control, DIS (S) and DIS (G) were similar to each other, but that of DIS (PEG) was about 5 times higher that of control. Oil holding capacities of control and DIS aloes maintained the 50.9-86.4% levels of water holding capacities showing no significant differences among samples. Rehydration ratio of DIS (PEG) aloes were significantly dependent on the temperature of rehydrated solvent (water), and rehydration ratio of not-fileted aloe was about two folds higher than that of fileted aloe.

        출소자는 출소 후 지역사회로 돌아가 재적응하는 과정에서 어려움을 겪게 되며, 이 적응에 실패할 경우 재범의 위험에 빠지기 쉽다. 재범율의 증가와 함께 교도소 내에서의 교정뿐 아니라 출소 후의 갱생보호사업에 대한 중요성이 매우 크다. 한국에서는 한국갱생보호공단과 소수의 민간갱생보호단체에 의해서 갱생보호사업이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구는 지역사회중심의 효율적인 갱생보호사업을 탐색해 봄으로써 재범을 방지하고 출소자의 복지를 증진시키는데 목적이 있다. 구체적인 연구내용은 첫째, 한국과 외국의 재범의 현황을 고찰한다. 둘째, 재범 가능성의 위험요인과 억제요인을 살펴본다. 셋째, 출소자들의 사회복귀를 도와주는 기구인 한국갱생보호공단의 사업 현황과 민간차원에서의 갱생보호사업에 대해 고찰한다. 넷째, 지역사회연계를 통한 효율적인 갱생보호사업의 모델을 제시한다. 결론에서는 갱생보호사업 활성화를 위한 정책방향을 제시하였다.
