        How will machines affect humans, can humans be leading in machine problems, or can humans present new possibilities beyond human-machine confrontation? This study attempts to reflect on the relationship between the high-tech revolution and convergence by focusing on the 'care problem'. First of all, in order to proceed with this study, I would like to discuss how artificial intelligence robots based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution are revealing their effectiveness in caring problems. In the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence emotions, it is emphasized that the question of right and wrong as to whether the other person's emotions are properly understood is not important, and that more valid justification can be secured for humans and artificial intelligence robots to reconcile and establish a relationship through emotional exchange. If this is the case, rather than discussing whether artificial intelligence robots can interact with humans through empathy, it should be focused on the fact that caring patients who require physical and mental care through artificial intelligence robots can achieve quite effective treatment effects through artificial intelligence robots.

        Decommissioning of Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) projects in South Korea starts with permanent shutdown of Kori unit 1 and Wolsung unit 1. It is important to establish a treatment and disposal method for radioactive waste generated during the decommissioning of the nuclear power plants. Large quantities of the wastes during decommissioning of NPP are generated in a short period of time and the wastes have various types and characteristics. For efficient decommissioning of NPP process, the radioactive waste is classified by types and each treatment method and packaging concept is presented respectively in this paper. Radioactive waste generated during decommissioning of NPP is classified into reactor vessel, reactor internals, metals, Dry Active Waste (DAW), concreate, spent fuel storage rack, spent resin and spent filter, etc., and the packaging concept for each type should be established to meet the waste acceptance criteria. Major waste acceptance criteria requirements include nuclides concentration, filling rate, free water, surface radiation does rate and weight. Radioactive waste containers can be classified into packaging containers, transport containers, and disposal containers. The packaging container is used to contain, transport, and store radioactive waste within the radiation control area, and a control number has been assigned as a radioactive waste drum after the final treatment has been completed. The transport container is used for transporting radioactive waste filled-containers from a radiation control area through an uncontrolled area. In this paper, the concept of disposal of dismantled radioactive waste and packaging methods were reviewed in comprehensive consideration of domestic radioactive waste transport and storage regulations, permanent disposal environment, and development status of large containers.

        Separation of high heat generating-radioactive isotopes from spent nuclear fuel is an important issue because it can reduce the final disposal area. As one of the technologies that can selectively separate only high heat generating-radioactive isotopes without dissolving spent fuel, the methods using molten salt have recently attracted attention. Although studies on chemical changes of Sr oxides in molten salts have been reported, they have limitation in that alternative oxide reagents rather than oxide fuel were used. In this study, the separation behaviors of Sr from simulated oxide fuel using various molten salts were investigated. A powder type containing 95.7wt% of U and 0.123wt% of Sr was used as the simulated oxide fuel. LiCl, LiCl-CaCl2, MgCl2, LiCl-KCl-MgCl2 and NaCl-MgCl2 were used as molten chloride salts. The separation of Sr from the simulated oxide fuel was conducted by loading it in porous alumina basket and immersing it in a salt. The concentration of Sr in the salt was measured by ICP analysis after sampling the salt outside the basket using dip-stick technique. The separation efficiencies of Sr from simulated oxide fuel using the salts were compared. Furthermore, the causes of their separation efficiency were systematically investigated.

        해류와 해양 순환은 지구의 에너지를 분배하는 조절자로서 중요한 역할을 하고 있다. 2015 개정 교육과정에 기반한 중등학교 과학 및 지구과학 교과서에는 한반도 주변 해류 중 북한한류의 계절변동성에 대한 오개념을 포함하고 있는 것으로 드러났다. 이를 분석하기 위하여 중학교 5종, 고등학교 6종 교과서에 제시되어 있는 북한한류와 관련된 교과 내용을 수집하였으며, 중등학교 과학교사 30인을 대상으로 해류와 북한한류에 관한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 내용은 교과서에서 북한한류에 대해서 언급하고 있는지, 북한한류의 시간변동성에 대한 개념의 오류가 있는지에 관한 질문으로 구성하였고, 북한한류와 관련된 자유로운 의견을 수집하였다. 교과서에서는 북한한류의 유속이 겨울에 강하다고 제시되어 있는데, 이는 그동안 장기간의 과학계의 연구 결과와는 정반대로 배치되는 결과이다. 북한한류의 세기는 여름에 강함에도 불구하고 겨울에 강하다고 교과서에서 제시하고 있는 것에 대한 오개념의 원인과 형성 과정을 조사하였다. 교사 대상 설문을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 교사들이 북한한류의 세기가 겨울에 강하다는 지식 오류를 가지고 있었다. 이는 교 사들이 가지고 있는 용어에 대한 오개념에서 출발하여 교사들의 확고한 지식으로 각인되어 있었다. 이러한 오개념은 교사 자신이 중등학교 재학시절부터 획득한 지식에서 기원하였고, 교과서의 오개념은 수정되지 않은 상태로 오랫동안 교사와 학생들에게 전달되고 있었다. 이러한 상황은 향후 학생들의 오개념을 재생산하는 구조를 가질 수 있을 것으로 예상 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 교사 및 학생들이 가지고 있는 북한한류의 계절변동성에 관한 오개념을 단절하기 위하여 기존 의 과학적 연구 결과들의 요약하였고, 교과서 수정의 필요성과 교사 전문성 신장을 위한 재교육의 필요성을 제안하였다.

        목적 :본 연구의 목적은 뇌졸중 환자의 실행기능을 일상적인 과제수행에 기반 하여 평가하는 한글 번역판 실행기능 수행검사의 내용타당도와 임상적 유용성을 확인하는 것이다.연구방법 :뇌졸중 분야 전문가집단으로 구성된 29명을 대상으로 한글 번역판 실행기능 수행검사에 대한 내용타당도와 임상적 유용성에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 내용타당도 검증을 위해 수정된 과제 적합성을 조사하였고 수정된 과제별 세부항목 적합성에 대한 설문을 시행하였다. 응답은 빈도분석과 기술통계를 사용하여 분석하였으며 내용타당도 지수(Content Validity Index: CVI)도 산출하여 내용타당도를 확인 하였다.결과 :내용타당도는 각 과제에 따른 평균 CVI가 .67로 나타나 대체로 타당한 것으로 평가되었으며 과제에 따라 내용타당도 지수는 .58~.75로 조금씩 상이하게 나타났다. 임상적 유용성은 각 문항의 산술평균 분 포가 2.69~4.03이었으며 ‘보통이다’ 이상의 응답이 44.8~100.0%로 나타나 양호한 것으로 나타났다.결론 :본 연구결과를 기반으로 한글 번역판 실행기능 수행검사(Executive Function Performance Test Korean translation)는 실행기능을 보다 면밀히 평가하고 필요한 도움의 유형을 밝히는데 유용한 도구 임을 알 수 있다. 또한 전문가 집단을 통한 내용타당도 검증을 통해 임상현장에서의 활용가능성에 대해 시사하는 바가 크며 관련 교육 및 연구가 추후 지속적으로 이루어질 필요가 있다.

        The aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases (ARSs) are ancient house-keeping enzymes that catalyze the ligation of tRNAs to their cognate amino acids in the first step of protein synthesis. During the evolution of higher eukaryotes, cytoplasmic ARSs have undergone significant changes including the addition of new domains that are not part of the enzymatic core. These additional regions have been found to be associated with a broad range of biological functions beyond protein synthesis. The non-translational functions of ARSs appear to be regulated by their presence within a cytoplasmic multi-tRNA synthetase complex (MSC), which is assembled through the appended domains. We recently reported that the MSC member glutamylprolyl- tRNA synthetase (EPRS) promotes antiviral gene expression through its infection-specific phosphorylation and release from the MSC. Here, we conducted transcriptome analysis of influenza A virusinfected cells. We particularly focused on the analysis of chemokine-related gene expression, in combination with chemokine array analysis against virus infection. Moreover, the correlation between chemokine expression pattern and EPRS function in response to different stimuli was assessed. The results showed that viral infection increases interferon-response and pro-inflammatory chemokine expression. In contrast, the level of chemokine expression was suppressed in interferon-γ treated cells. Thus, these results further demonstrate the previously reported stimulus-specific EPRS functions in immune responses.

        This study was performed to measure the concentration of odorous compounds and dilution ratio values at each part of the anaerobic digester process with composting facilities using swine manure and food waste. Complex odors, ammonia, volatile fatty acids and sulfur compounds were measured at each part of the process. Complex odors measured during swine manure storage, food waste storage and in the digested liquid tank, were 35,312 Odor Unit(OU), 39,086 OU and 17,733 OU, respectively. The odor contribution index was calculated by the concentration of odorous compounds during each process divided by the threshold limit. As a result, the major odorous compound that appeared during swine manure storage, food waste storage and in the digested liquid tank was hydrogen sulfide. On the other hand, the major odorous compound in the other processes was ammonia. The overall average concentrations of ammonia were highest in the digested liquid tank(337 ppm) and the separated liquid tank(131 ppm). Wastewater treatment process(10.9 ppm) and deodorization process(11.6 ppm) revealed the lowest concentration of ammonia. The overall average concentration of total volatile fatty acids(TVFAs) was 102.8 ppb during food waste storage and among the TVFAs, the main element was propionic acid(66.1 ppb). Sulfur compounds were only detected during swine manure storage, food waste storage and in the digested liquid tank. The dominant sulfur compound was hydrogen sulfide during swine manure storage(96.3 ppm) and methyl mercaptan during food waste storage(17.7 ppm) and dimethyl sulfide during food waste storage(34.5 ppm).
