We present an analysis of the soft X-ray emission of MRK 841 to investigate its long-term variation. The light variation of MRK 841 for three different energy bands of soft, medium, and hard values were studied. The maximum variability with a factor of 5 for about two years was confirmed at all three different bands. The light curves exhibit a gradual variation of brightness. In addition to a gradual variation, the short- term or micro variation was also confirmed with a factor of about two for all three different bands. The light variation of each band did not exhibit a correlation between them, but the flare event is strongest in the soft band. The hardness ratio for hard and soft bands shows irregular variation but there was no correlation between them. It was confirmed that there is a gradual decrease of the photon index. Results of our analysis are discussed within the framework of the accretion disk phenomenon.

In order to identify the candidates of emission-line galaxies inside the southern Hydra Void, photo-graphic objective-prism observations with the UK Schmidt Telescope were carried out using the Tech-Pan films for five fields. All observed prism plates were scanned with the APM Facility and the scanned data was processed to determine the APM plate parameters and to draw spectra. For all galaxy spectra, the emission features, the distance between emission features of Hβ4861, [OIII]⋋⋋ 4959, 5007 and the overlapping by nearby objects were investigated by eyeballing. A total of 7 candidates of emission-line galaxies inside the Hydra Void were identified.

The light curve and radial velocity curve of multiperiodic dwarf cepheid VI719 Cyg (HD200925) with peculiar light curve have been reanalyzed in order to identify the oscillation modes to confirm the helium settling within the envelope. To do these, through the period search for the photometric and radial velocity data from the literature, two different periods were determined and the oscillation modes corresponding to the first and second periods were identified as the fundamental and first radial overtones. Hence the helium settling within the envelope was confirmed from the period ratio. The color excess, metallicity, effective temperature, and surface gravity corresponding to two different modes were determined and it was found that these parameters almost do not depend upon different oscillation mode. By utilizing the surface brightness method, we investigated the variation of angular diameter and radial displacement and it was found that the angular variation is very peculiar. Also by referring to the stellar models, mass and age were determined as 2.7 M ⨀ and 0.42 Gyr respectively which make this variable star heavier and younger than other multimode dwarf cepheids. Preliminary spectroscopic CCD observations were carried out and it was found that Mg in VI719 Cygni is nearly solar abundent according to the analysis of 5172.68 |AA M g I line which is inconsistent with the photometric result. It was suggested that VI719 Cyg may be classified as a ρ Pup stars according to the photometric characteristics.
