        본고는 다의어에서의 의미 확장 과정에서 핵심 의미 작용을 하는 성분에 주목하여 동사 ‘熬’와 ‘炒’를 대상으로 사전과 코퍼스를 활용하여 이들의 핵심 의미 자질을 추 출하는 방법과 과정을 소개하고, 그 역할과 방향성을 탐구하는 데 연구의 목적을 둔 다. 또한, 構詞를 통해 ‘熬’와 ‘炒’의 복합어에서 보이는 핵심성분을 추출하여 핵심 의 미 자질을 다시 입증하였다. 연구 결과, ‘熬’의 핵심 의미 자질은 동작의 시간과 관련 된 [+장시간]이었고, 내포의미자질로 [+인내]자질이 ‘熬’의 의미 확장에서 두드러졌다. ‘炒’의 핵심 의미 자질은 동작의 횟수와 관련된 [+빈번]이었고, 내포의미자질로 [+조작]자질이 ‘炒’의 확장 의미에서 두드러졌다.

        In this paper, the basic and the extensional meaning of the Chinese word, shui (水), and the Korean word, mul (물), were compared for their similarities and differences, based on the different word meaning characteristics. Both words have the basic meaning of “water.” The extensional meaning and usage of these two words overlap semantically under certain conditions, but they have different characteristics in the two languages from the perspective of word formation, reflecting the differences in thinking and cognitive framework of the different cultural backgrounds. The research also found that the words differ greatly in terms of semantic extension. Mul in particular had a far richer and more diverse extended semantic meaning than shui.

        한중 조리동사는 의미의 범주가 달라 대응관계가 매우 복잡하다. 동일한 조리활동 을 가리키면서도 중국어와 한국어가 ‘일대일’의 대응관계를 보이지 않는 경우가 있다. 본 연구는 삶다(煮)류 의미장의 중국어 13개, 한국어 9개 조리동사를 대상으로 계열 관계와 결합관계를 통해 의미소를 설정하고 이들의 의미특징을 분석하여 한중 조리 동사의 대응관계를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 특히 사전과 코퍼스를 활용하여 다의어 에서 다수의 의미소를 설정하고 분석하는 방법과 과정을 제시함으로써 한중 조리동 사의 의미 범주 차이를 고찰하였다. 구체적인 의미자질 분석을 통해 중국어 조리동 사에서 다의성이 강하게 나타나고 의미의 범주가 크다는 결론을 내릴 수 있었다.

        Background: Physical activity and quality of life (QOL) influence the health status of older adults. Recently, the use of wearable devices to monitor physical activity has increased. Objects: This study examined the relationship between the amount of physical activity, measured using a wearable device, and QOL among older adults. Methods: In total, 71 older adults (aged ≥ 65 years) were enrolled. The amount of physical activity was measured using a wearable device with a wrist strap, and daily physical activity was classified according to intensity (sedentary, light, moderate, or very active). Self-reported QOL was evaluated using the Short Form 36 (SF-36) questionnaire. Pearson and Spearman correlation analyses were conducted to analyze parametric and non-parametric variables, respectively. The relationship between amount of daily physical activity and SF-36 scores was assessed. Results: The correlation analyses revealed positive correlations between the amount of moderate- intensity and very active physical activity (minutes/day) and SF-36 scores (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Physical activity of at least moderate intensity is associated with better QOL in older adults. Further studies are required to verify the effects of increased physical activity on QOL in older adults.

        The purpose of this study was to assess the intra-rater test-retest reliability of tibial external rotation angle measurement using a smartphone-based photographic goniometer, DrGoniometer (DrG) compared to a three-dimensional motion analysis system (Vicon). The current study showed an interchangeable method using DrG to measure the tibial external rotation angle in standing knee flexion at . Twelve healthy subjects participated in this study. A rest session was conducted 30 minutes later for within-day reliability and five days later for between-day intra-rater test-retest reliability. To assess the validity of the measurement using DrG, we used a three dimensional motion analysis system as a gold standard to measure the angle of tibial external rotation. Intra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) and the standard error of measurement (SEM) values were used to determine the within- and between- day intra-rater test-retest reliability of using DrG and a three dimensional motion analysis system. To assess validity, Pearson correlation coefficients were used for two measurement techniques. The measurement for tibial external rotation had high intra-rater test-retest reliability of within-day (ICC=.88) and between-day (ICC=.83) reliability using DrG and of within-day (ICC=.93) and between-day (ICC=.77) reliability using a three-dimentional motion analysis system. Tibial external rotation angle measurement using DrG was highly correlated with those of the three-dimensional motion analysis system (r=.86). These results represented that the tibial external rotation angle measurement using DrG showed acceptable reliability and validity compared with the use of three-dimensional motion analysis system.
