Purpose: The container terminal is an area that plays an important role in the country's import and export. As the volume of containers increased worldwide, competition between terminals became fiercer, and increasing the productivity of terminals became more important. Re-handling is a serious obstacle that lowers the productivity of terminal. There are two ways to reduce re-handling in the terminal yard. The first method is to load containers in terminal yards using effective carry-in algorithms that reduce re-handling. The second method is to carry out effective remarshalling. In this paper, the performance of various carry-in algorithms and various remarshalling algorithms are reviewed. Next, we try to find the most effective combination of carry-in algorithm and remarshalling algorithm. Research design, data and methodology: In this paper, we analyze the performance of the four carry-in algorithms, AP, MDF, LVF, RP and the four remarshalling algorithms, ASI, ASI+, ASO, ASO+. And after making all the combinations of carry-in algorithms and remarshalling algorithms, we compare their performance to find the best combination. To that end, many experiments are conducted with eight types of 100 bays through simulation. Results: The results of experiments showed that AP was effective among the carry-in algorithms and ASO+ was effective among remarshalling algorithms. In the case of the LVF algorithm, the effect of carrying in was bad, but it was found to be effective in finding remarshalling solution. And we could see that ASI+ and ASO+, algorithms that carry out remarshalling even if they fail to find remarshalling solution, are also more effective than ASI and ASO. And among the combinations of carry-in algorithms and remarshalling algorithms, we could see that the combination of AP algorithm and ASO+ algorithm was the most effective combination. Conclusion: We compared the performance of the carry-in algorithms and the remarshalling algorithms and the performance of their combination. Since the performance of the container yard has a significant effect on the performance of the entire container terminal, it is believed that the results of this experiment will be effective in improving the performance of the container terminal when carrying-in or when remarshalling.
Purpose: In this study, we would like to confirm that the transfer of young workers may be a means of enhancing their internal satisfaction, not to get a better job, by setting work-related characteristics that are highly relevant to job-related factors. Research design, data, and methodology: In this study, preparation for turnover was set as dependent variables to identify factors related to the turnover of young people, and the type of business, employment type, debt status, job satisfaction, job difficulty compared to education level, job difficulty, job degree, job major agreement, debt status, and other demographic social characteristics were selected as independent variables. Results: The characteristics related to personal criteria in job-seeking process were significant in the form of business, employment type, job satisfaction, work difficulty compared to the level of education, work difficulty compared to the level of technology, job major matching, and debt status. Conclusions: This study confirmed that young people's turnover may not simply be a means to get a better job, but to increase satisfaction in the internal aspects of their jobs, and that for young people, a job is an important development process that represents their identity and needs to be approached from a life-cycle perspective.
Purpose - The Korean child welfare services may have different feelings between providers and users. Few studies on the child welfare service quality have been conducted and research on the coorientation model of child welfare services are nonexistent. We compared the perceptions of Korean child welfare service providers and users in this study. It will have many applications in the service quality fields by applying a coorientation model.
Research design, data, and methodology - In order to enhance user satisfaction with child welfare services, around 200 samples were carried out both in Busan and Kyungsangnamdo randomly. Seven point Likert scale was used in the questionnaire. Two measurements were made to evaluate the different positions on the part of child welfare service providers and users to assess their mutual orientation. Paired t-test verification was conducted for congruency analysis, and the verification of agreement and accuracy was analyzed by independent t-tests.
Results - We empirically examined the differences between the providers and the users stance. The results are as follows. We have verified the statistical significance of the difference in perception between providers and users. We also confirmed a degree of agreement, a degree of congruency, a degree of accuracy and a degree of meta agreement in the study. In the Korean child welfare service quality, the coorientation model of process quality appeared in the form of semi-dissensus, the coorientation model of results quality were shown in the form of ignorances and the coorientation model of physical environment quality were investigated in the form of semi-dissensus.
Conclusion - The study concluded that users need to understand more about the providers in order to enhance the coorientation model in process quality and physical environmental quality, and the providers need to persuade the users clearly about the positive factors. To enhance the coorientation model of the result quality, it can be misunderstood by guessing that the other party will positively evaluate it. Therefore, users believe that they need to talk more clearly to the provider about the results of the korean child welfare service quality to reduce misunderstandings and to understand each other about the resulting quality.
