온실에서 재배되는 수입 드라세나묘목 및 게발선인장에서 채집된 뿌리깍지벌레 2종 Ripersiella multiporifera Jansen 및 Rhizoecus albidus Goux를 우리나라에서 처음으로 보고한다. 이들은 수입된 식물을 통해 온실에 도입된 것으로 추정되며 우리나라에 추가적인 유입과 정착을 방지하기 위해 이들 종의 진단형질, 사진자료, 기주 및 분포정보를 제공하고자 한다.

 ,  , Two pupillarial species, Cryptoparlatorea leucaspis Lindinger and Fiorinia japonica Kuwana, are recorded for the first time in Korea. Both species were found on coniferous trees, Cryptomeria japonica and Torreya nucifera. Also an identification key, brief diagnoses, and photographs of Korean pupillarial species are provided to assist in their identification.

Two species of the genus Andaspis, Andaspis crawii (Cockerell) and Andaspis kashicola (Takahashi) are newly recorded in the Korean fauna of armored scales (Diaspididae). A key to species of Andaspis, illustrative photographs and information on the distribution and hosts of each species, are also provided to identify the specimens of Andaspis collected in Korea.

Seventy two species of armored scale have been recorded from the Korean peninsula since late 1920s. Nine of these species were obtained from greenhouses. Of these 9 armored scale species, 7 species are considered to have failed to colonize fields or greenhouses and 2 species, which were collected from pineapple plants, Tillandsia plants and cactus trees in greenhouses, were never taken from the exterior environment.

한국산 흰깍지벌레속(진딧물아목, 깍지벌레과)의 5종에 대해 암컷 성충의 외부 형태를 바탕으로 형태적 특징을 기술하고 도해하였고, 검색표도 작성하였으며,각 종에 대한 기주식물을 나열하였다. 이중 청미레덩굴흰깍지벌레(신칭)는 한국에서 처음으로 기록되는 종이다

감나무에서 문제해충으로 알려진 주머니깍지벌레(Eriococcus lagerstroemiae Kuwana)를 감나무주머니깍지벌레(신칭: Asiacornococcus kaki (Kuwana))로 정정하고, 이들 2종의 정확한 동정을 위해 형태적 특징을 비교하고 도해하였으며, 기주식물들도 포함하였다. Asiacornococcus Tang & Hao, 1995는 한국 미기록 속으로 보고한다.
