Embodied cognition emphasizes that the formation of thinking concepts is rooted in universal somatic experiences. Factors such as perceptual experiences and motor experiences resulting from the interaction of the body with the surrounding environment greatly influence thinking styles and cognitive styles. Embodied cognition is widely used in the education of cognitive development at all ages. Because of its close connection to the process of thought formation, it is also used in design thinking practice in art and design education and plays an important role. The integration of physical behavior into design thinking is a way to explore the connections between the body, the environment, design thinking, and design symbols in order to inspire design thinking.
