Buzz, squeak, rattle noise that are referred as BSR have become important part in vehicle's quality because vehicle NVH(noise vibration harshness) reduction technology of main parts like engine and drive-line has made great progress except BSR noise. BSR test is progressed by composing many road excitation power spectrum density(PSD) profiles into a composite PSD profile. Shakers which are input by composite PSD profile make time histories(time-acceleration data) by aggregate of a large number of harmonics related with composite PSD profile in general. But when only composite PSD profile is input to shaker, the time histories from shakers exhibits Gaussian distribution characteristics and can't reflect all road excitation PSD profiles. In this study, we search other studies that try to solve the problems occurring when a shaker is input only PSD profile and analyze time histories resulted from BSR test to check ways of shaker's operation.

PURPOSES: Previous Speed Profile reflects the patterns of speeds in sections of tangents to curves in the roads. However these patterns are uniform of speeds and Acceleration/Deceleration. In oder to supplement these shortcomings. this study made a new profile which can contain factors of Acceleration/Deceleration through theories of Previous Speed Profiles. METHODS : For sakes, this study developed the speed prediction model of Rural Multi-Lane Highways and calculated Acceleration/Deceleration by appling a Polynomial model based on developed speed prediction model. Polynomial model is based on second by second. Acceleration/Deceleration Profile is developed with the various scenarios of road geometric conditions. RESULTS: The longer an ahead tangent length is, The higher an acceleration rate in curve occurs due to wide sight distance. However when there are big speed gaps between two curves, the longer tangent length alleviate acceleration rate. CONCLUSIONS: Acceleration/Deceleration Profile can overview th patterns of speeds and Accelerations/Decelerations in the various road geometric conditions. Also this result will help road designer have a proper guidance to exam a potential geometric conditions where may occur the acceleration/deceleration states.

For the stress and vibration analysis of vehicle components by computer simulation, it is necessary to find the forces acting on the vehicle components due to the road profile undulation. A precise modeling of tires is not easy due to nonlinear effects between tire-ground. Instead of precise tire modeling, this paper proposes to regenerate the road profile, which preserves the measured wheel accelerations with a linear tire model in the computer simulations. From the full car example, the proposed method in this paper shows very nice results, and thus the new method seems well-suited in virtual driving simulations. The effort to improve durability of vehicle components has been continued during test and development process. Computer aided durability analysis techniques cut down time and money compared with experiment. In this paper, the dynamic simulation of vehicle model was carried out with the MSC/ADAMS program and the durability analysis of vehicle components was carried out with MSC/Fatigue program by using load profiles generated from dynamic simulation.
