본 연구의 목적은 축구 선수 및 하키 선수들을 대상으로 시합전 승부에 대한 예측, 승부에 대한 인과소재 예측을 하게 한 후 시합후 시합결과에 따라서 승부 예측과 인과소재 예측의 변화가 있는지 그리고 시합결과에 대한 놀라움이 어떻게 나타나는지 살펴보는 것이다. 실험 1의 연구참여자는 S대 축구선수(14명)와 Z대 축구선수(20명)이며 실험 2의 연구참여자는 S대 하키선수(12명)와 I대 하키선수(14명)이다. 실험 과제는 사전예측 과제, 사후예측 과제 및 시합 결과에 대한 놀라움 평정이다. 사전예측 과제는 시합전 승부 예측과 인과소재 예측으로 구성되어 있으며 사후예측 과제는 결과를 모른다고 가정하고 시합후 사전과제를 회상하고 시합결과에 대한 놀라움을 평정하는 것이다. 연구결과 실험 1에서는 승리팀 예측확신과 운예측이 증가하였고, 실험 2에서는 운 예측이 증가하고 체력 예측이 감소하였다. 그러나 놀람의 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 본 연구를 통해서 인과 해석의 문화적 차이, 사후과잉확신 편향 연구의 실험 설계, 자기-봉사적 편향을 살펴 볼 수 있을 것이다.
The Present study examined the hindsight bias of the win & loss, locus of causality and change of surprise with S university soccer players(n=14), Z university soccer players(n=20) and S field hockey players(n=12), I field hocky players(n=14). The Experimental task consist of prediction, postdiction and evaluation of surprise. Before game, the researchers asked to write their prediction of win & loss and prediction of locus of causality. After the game, the researchers surveyed the participants again and surprise evaluation by asking to write, "what would you have predicted the results and probability would be if you had not known the real results." The results were as follows. experiment 1 revealed hindsight bias by increased the assurance of winning team and increased the prediction of luck. experiment 2 revealed hindsight bias by increased the prediction of luck and decreased the prediction of fitness. Finally, the researcher discussed the cultural difference, experimental design and method of hindsight bias and self-serving bias.
