본 연구의 목적은 Elliot와 McGregor(2001)의 2×2 성취목표 모델을 스포츠 맥락에서 검증하기 위해 한국형 2×2 스포츠 성취목표 검사지를 개발하여 교차 타당도를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 중고교와 대학의 남녀 운동선수 1,743명(남자=713명, 여자=612명)이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 확인적 요인분석의 결과는 스포츠 맥락에서 2×2 성취목표의 요인구조를 뒷받침하였으며, 2×2 스포츠 성취목표 검사지와 스포츠 목표성향간의 관계를 검증하여 수렴 타당도가 확보되었다. 다집단 확인적 요인분석을 통해 성별, 학교급 및 종목특성별에 따른 구인 동등성이 검증되었으며, 잠재평균분석 결과 성별과 학교급별간 하위 요인에 유의한 차이가 있지만 종목특성에서는 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 따라서 본 연구에서 개발된 2×2 성취목표 검사지는 남녀 운동선수들의 성취목표와 관련된 다양한 동기적 변인을 이해하고 연구하는데 적절한 측정도구로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

The purpose of this study was to develop a Korean version of 2×2 Achievement Goals Questionnaire for Sport(2×2 AGQS) in order to examine the 2×2 achievement goals model suggested by Elliot and McGregor(2001). For this, 1,743 student-athletes(713 males and 612 females) from middle schools to universities participated in this study. Confirmatory factor analyses supported the factor structure of 2×2 achievement goal framework in the sport context. Also concurrent validity was supported in that achievement goal scores were related to task and ego orientation. Factorial invariance across gender, school, and sport type was supported through multiple group confirmatory factor analysis. Latent mean analysis indicated that scores for the four subscales exhibited were differentiated in gender and school except sport type. In conclusion, the 2×2 AGQS would help researchers to understand and research on various motivational variables associated with achievement goals among athletes.
