전기차, 에너지저장시스템의 수요급증으로 에너지 저장장치에 대한 관심이 세계적으로 증가해왔다. 에너지 저장장치의 핵심원료인 리튬과 바나듐 등과 같은 에너지저장광물 자원을 안정적으로 공급하기 위하여 새로운 기술적 대안이 필요하다. 이미 리튬과 바나듐을 직접 확보할 수 있는 기술에 대한 여러 국가들의 연구개발 활동이 이루어지고 있다. 이에 따라 효과적인 연구개발 전략을 수립하기 위해서 특허 및 논문 분석을 통해 각국의 기술동향을 분석하고 향후 기술발전방향을 설정하는 것이 중요하다. 본 연구는 1970년부터 2019년 10월까지 출원 공개 또는 출원 등록된 한국, 미국, 유럽, 일본의 특허자료와 2000년 1월부터 2019년 10월까지의 논문을 대상 검색된 자료를 통해 신기술 개발 동향 및 국내외 연구개발 현황을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 현재 에너지저장광물과 관련된 기술의 성장단계는 태동기 단계에 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 따라서 기술시장 선도와 기술 경쟁력 강화를 위해 새로운 기술의 개발과 개발된 기술에 대한 실증을 병행하여 빠르게 기술을 고도화 하는 전략이 필요하다고 사료된다.
PURPOSES: This study aims to review the concept of emergency road networks through previous studies and propose a risk and resilience evaluation method for selecting an emergency road network in the event of an earthquake disaster in major highways in Daejeon. METHODS : Risk assessment in consideration of the possibility, exposure, and vulnerability of relatively weak spots and sections in the event of an earthquake disaster on major highways in Daejeon Metropolitan City, and responsiveness, mitigation, and accessibility for urgent response to disaster recovery and management. The emergency road network selection method was proposed by taking into account resilience evaluation. Five levels of links were classified using the P-I method and the overall scores were calculated by considering the weighting factors. RESULTS : In the selected emergency road network, the main roads located near major disaster prevention facilities (public institutions) and response facilities (firefighting and emergency facilities) exhibited a high priority during the earthquake. In addition, highways that emphasized the speed and connectivity between the local emergency road network and the surrounding suburbs exhibited a high priority.
CONCLUSIONS : To designate the emergency road network in advance, evaluation of vulnerable facilities and exposure points in the event of a disaster needs to be considered, which can be used to establish a disaster safety plan, thereby ensuring speed and continuity in disaster response.
PURPOSES: The objective of this study is to analyze the effect of superelevation on the existing local freeway ramps where occurrence of traffic incidents are concentrated in order to improve the safety of ramp curves. Using a superelevation slope test conducted on Cheong-ju interchange as a case study, operating speed and lateral friction coefficients are measured, and the safety before and after increasing the superelevation is analyzed.
METHODS: First, the actual operating speed of freeway ramps is measured for analysis and the 85th-percentile speed is calculated. This is followed by a measurement change in the lateral friction coefficient because of an increase in superelevation slope from 6% to 10%. Based on the change in lateral friction coefficient, an evaluation of the safety of driving mechanics is carried out and suggestions for the most appropriate superelevation slopes are presented.
RESULTS: The operating speed (V85) of the loop ramp increases by up to 5.6 km/h after increasing the superelevation slope, and the operating speed (V85) of reverse ramp curve increases by up to 6.1 km/h. However, the standard deviation of the speed between each section has decreased, making it easier to drive smoothly. Although some sections of the loop ramp show poor safety due to the difference between actual and design friction coefficients in the safety evaluation before the increase of superelevation slope, the lateral force decreases after the increase of superelevation slope, improving the safety of the road.
CONCLUSIONS : Currently, Korea’s freeway ramps pose a safety risk to vehicles traveling at speeds higher than the design speed. To improve the safety of freeway ramps, analysis on the effect of increase in superelevation slope found that the lateral friction coefficient decreases, which in turn improves the safety of freeway ramps.
Cr-Al alloys are attracting attention as oxidation resistant coating materials for high temperature metallic materials due to their excellent high temperature stability. However, the mechanical properties and oxidation resistance of Cr-Al alloys can be further enhanced, and such attempts are made in this study. To improve the properties of Cr-Al alloys, Si is added up to 5 wt%. Casting specimens with different amounts of Si content are prepared by a vacuum arc remelting method and isothermally heated under steam conditions at 1,100oC for 1 hour. The as-cast microstructure of low Si alloys is mainly composed of only a Cr phase, while Al8Cr5 and Cr3Si phases are also observed in the 5% Si alloy. In the high Si alloy, only Cr and Cr3Si phases remain after the isothermal heating at 1,100oC. It is found that Si additions slightly decrease the oxidation resistance of the Cr-Al alloy. However, the microhardness of the Cr-Al alloy is observed to increase with an increasing Si content.
목적: 정시안과 안경 및 콘택트렌즈 착용 근시안의 조절반응량을 비교하고, 근시안에서는 굴절 이상도와 조절반응량의 상관성을 확인하고자 하였다.
방법: 안질환 및 전신질환이 없고 굴절교정수술을 하지 않은 성인 (19~25세) 중 암실 (scotopic) 조명상태에서 Pupilmeter (VIP™-200, NEUROPTICS, USA)를 이용하여 동공크기를 측정한 뒤, 그 크기가 평균 동공크기 7.5±0.8 mm 이내(6.7 ~ 8.3 mm)의 인원을 선별하여 대상자로 정시안 16명, 근시안 25명 총 41명이 참여하였다. 굴절검사는 포롭터를 이용한 자각식 굴절검사 시행하였다. 근시안의 경우 안경렌즈와 콘택트렌즈로 완전교정한 후 양안개방형 ARK(autorefractokeratometer, NVISION-K 5001, SHIN-NIPPON, JP)를 이용하여 원/근거리(5 m/33 cm)를 주시하게 한 후 조절반응량을 측정하였다. 통계분석은 MedCalc Version 17.9.7 (MedCalc, Belgium)을 이용하였고, 안경렌즈 교정군과 콘택트렌즈 교정군의 조절반응량은 독립표본 t 검정(independent t-test)으로, 굴절이상도에 따른 조절반응량은 Pearson correlation test를 이용하여 상관성검정을 하였다. 모든 통계분석은 p값이 0.05 미만인 경우를 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 해석하였다.
결과: 양안개방형 ARK로 측정한 조절반응량은 근시안이 정시안에 비해서 작았고, 안경렌즈 교정군과 콘택트렌즈 교정군의 조절반응량은 유의한 차이가 없었다(p=0.849). 양안개방형 ARK로 측정한 조절반응량과 근시도는 안경렌즈 착용군(r=0.4726, p=0.0197), 콘택트렌즈 착용군 (r=0.4745, p=0.0191)에서 모두 상관성이 있는 것으로 나타났다.
결론: 정시안이 근시안에 비해 조절반응량이 높았고, 근시도가 증가할수록 조절반응량은 작았다. 안경렌즈 교정군과 콘택트렌즈 교정군의 조절반응량은 유의한 차이가 없어 이에 대한 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.
In this study, the coating of an Al-Cr layer on the surface of a Zircaloy-4 alloy was carried out through plasma pretreatment coating and a laser surface melting process. Two different conditions for laser treatment, severe or minimal surface melting of the Zr alloy substrate, were applied to form the final coating. When there was significant surface melting of the Zr alloy, the solidification microstructure of the newly formed coating layer was mainly composed of needle-shaped Al3Zr, Al(Cr) and Al7Cr phases. On the other hand, the solidification microstructure of the coating layer was mainly composed of Al(Cr) and Al7Cr phases when there was minimal surface melting of Zr base in the laser process. However, when the coating was maintained at 1100 oC for 2 hours, significant inter-diffusion occurred between the phases in the coating. As a result, the upper part of the coating layer was observed to mainly consist of Al3Zr and Al8Cr5 phases, regardless of the laser treatment conditions.
PURPOSES :In this study, we analyzed the road crossing behavior of older pedestrians on a mid-block signalized crosswalk, and compared it to that of younger pedestrians. In addition, we analyzed the correlation between accidents involving older pedestrians while crossing roads and their behavioral characteristics. Finally, we confirmed the reasons for an increase in accidents involving older pedestrians.METHODS :First, 30 areas with the highest incidence of accidents involving older pedestrians while crossing roads were selected as target areas for analysis. Next, we measured the start-up delay (the time elapsed from the moment the signal turns green to the moment the pedestrian starts walking) and head movement (the number of head turns during crossing a road) of 900 (450 older and 450 younger) pedestrians. The next step was to conduct a survey and confirm the differences in judgment between older and younger pedestrians about approaching vehicles. Finally, we analyzed the correlation between the survey results and traffic accidents.RESULTS :The average start-up delay and head movement of the older pedestrians was 1.58 seconds and 3.15 times, respectively. A definite correlation was obtained between head movement and the frequency of pedestrian traffic accidents. The results of our survey indicate that 17.3% of the older pedestrians and 7.8% of the younger pedestrians have a high crash risk.CONCLUSIONS :Behavioral characteristics of older pedestrians were closely correlated with accidents involving older pedestrians while crossing roads in mid-block signalized crosswalks. Our study indicates that in order to reduce the number of accidents involving older pedestrians, it is necessary to develop an improvement plan including measures such as installation of safety facilities taking the behavioral characteristics of older pedestrians into consideration and their safety education.
PURPOSES : The desire of drivers to increase their driving speeds is increasing in response to the technological advancements in vehicles and roads. Therefore, studies are being conducted to increase the maximum design speed in Korea to 140 km/h. The stopping sight distance (SSD) is an important criterion for acquiring sustained road safety in road design. Moreover, although the perception-reaction time (PRT) is a critical variable in the calculation of the SSD, there are not many current studies on PRT. Prior to increasing the design speed, it is necessary to confirm whether the domestic PRT standard (2.5 s) is applicable to high-speed driving. Thus, in this study, we have investigated the influence of high-speed driving on PRT. METHODS : A driving simulator was used to record the PRT of drivers. A virtual driving map was composed using UC-Win/Road software. Experiments were carried out at speeds of 100, 120, and 140 km/h while assuming the following three driving scenarios according to driver expectation: Expected, Unexpected, and Surprised. Lastly, we analyzed the gaze position of the driver as they drove in the simulated environment using Smarteye. RESULTS: Driving simulator experimental results showed that the PRT of drivers decreased as driving speed increased from 100 km/h to 140 km/h. Furthermore, the gaze position analysis results demonstrated that the decrease in PRT of drivers as the driving speed increased was directly related to their level of concentration. CONCLUSIONS : In the experimental results, 85% of drivers responded within 2.0 s at a driving speed of 140 km/h. Thus, the results obtained here verify that the current domestic standard of 2.5 s can be applied in the highways designated to have 140 km/h maximum speed
본 논문은 깊이 카메라(Creative Senz3D)를 이용하여 호흡률을 측정하는 것에 대한 정확도와 영향을 미치는 요인들 을 분석하였다. 영향 요인 분석에서는 깊이 카메라가 가지는 깊이 값에 대한 오차와 노이즈 그리고 주위 조도의 영향에 대하여 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 그 결과 깊이 카메라와 측정 대상의 거리가 증가함에 따라 깊이 값의 오차가 증가하였 고 깊이 영상의 오른쪽은 실제 거리보다 깊이 값이 크게 측정되고 왼쪽은 실제 거리보다 깊이 값이 작게 측정되었다. 이에 따라 깊이 값이 영상의 영역에 따라 비대칭성을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 깊이 카메라와 측정 대상의 각도가 틀어짐에 따라서도 깊이 값의 차의 오차가 증가하였으며 깊이 카메라의 노이즈는 측정 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 점점 증가하였고 노이즈를 측정하는 윈도우의 크기가 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 주위 조도는 깊이 값에 영향을 주지 않았다. 또한 실제 상황에서 사람을 대상으로 20회 호흡을 하게 하여 깊이 카메라를 이용해 호흡률을 측정하였고 호흡률이 제대로 측정됨을 확인하였다.
PURPOSES : This study aims to examine the differences between the existing traffic demand forecasting method and the traffic demand forecasting method considering future regional development plans and new road construction and expansion plans using a four-step traffic demand forecast for a more objective and sophisticated national highway maintenance. This study ultimately aims to present future pavement deterioration and budget forecasting planning based on the examination. METHODS: This study used the latest data offered by the Korea Transport Data Base (KTDB) as the basic data for demand forecast. The analysis scope was set using the Daejeon Metropolitan City’s O/D and network data. This study used a traffic demand program called TransCad, and performed a traffic assignment by vehicle type through the application of a user equilibrium-based multi-class assignment technique. This study forecasted future traffic demand by verifying whether or not a realistic traffic pattern was expressed similarly by undertaking a calibration process. This study performed a life cycle cost analysis based on traffic using the forecasted future demand or existing past pattern, or by assuming the constant traffic demand. The maintenance criteria were decided according to equivalent single axle loads (ESAL). The maintenance period in the concerned section was calculated in this study. This study also computed the maintenance costs using a construction method by applying the maintenance criteria considering the ESAL. The road user costs were calculated by using the user cost calculation logic applied to the Korean Pavement Management System, which is the existing study outcome. RESULTS : This study ascertained that the increase and decrease of traffic occurred in the concerned section according to the future development plans. Furthermore, there were differences from demand forecasting that did not consider the development plans. Realistic and accurate demand forecasting supported an optimized decision making that efficiently assigns maintenance costs, and can be used as very important basic information for maintenance decision making. CONCLUSIONS : Therefore, decision making for a more efficient and sophisticated road management than the method assuming future traffic can be expected to be the same as the existing pattern or steady traffic demand. The reflection of a reliable forecasting of the future traffic demand to life cycle cost analysis (LCCA) can be a very vital factor because many studies are generally performed without considering the future traffic demand or with an analysis through setting a scenario upon LCCA within a pavement management system.
소나무재선충병 피해목을 제거하는 방법 중 매개충이 서식하는 벌채목 대상으로 하는 훈증방제법이 있다. 그러나 훈증방법 은 피복재가 훼손되면 재산란의 우려가 있다. 또한 숲가꾸기 산물을 임내 존치했을 때도 매개충(솔수염하늘소)의 서식처로 활용될 수 있다. 본 실험은 훈증목과 숲가꾸기 산물에 대한 매개충의 산란여부와 진주, 사천, 거제의 4개소 109개 훈증무더기에 대해 훈증 피복재의 훼손여부를 알아보았다. 2010년~2014년까지 동일공간에 배치한 훈증목에 매개충을 방사한 결과, 2010년~2013년 훈증목에서는 유충이 없었지만 2014년 훈증목에서는 솔수염하늘소의 유충이 발견되었다. 그러나 2013년과 2014년 훈증목을 각각 따로 사육상에 배치 후 산란을 유도했을 때 2013년 처리구에서 유충 1마리가 발견되었다. 소나무재선충 병 피해지 3지역 4개소에서 훈증무더기를 109개 대상으로 훈증 피복재의 찢어짐, 구멍 등을 조사한 결과 평균 14.7 %의 훼손율을 보였지만 2015년 훈증무더기 피복재는 전혀 훼손되지 않았다. 또한 2012년부터 2014년까지 리기다소나무(Pinus rigida)를 대상으로 숲가꾸기를 실시한 지역에서 존치된 벌채목에서 하늘소류의 침입공과 탈출공이 다수 발견되었다. 숲가꾸 기 산물을 수집 후 야외 사육상에 배치 후 매개충의 산란을 유도한 결과 2012~2014년 산물에서는 유충이나 유충 침입공을 발견할 수 없었다.
본 연구는 탐방객 인식에 기반한 보다 분석적인 접근의 국립공원 시설관리방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 덕유산국립공 원과 태안해안국립공원 탐방객 대상 총 214매를 유효표본으로 기술분석과 중요도-성취도 분석 실시 결과 태안해안국립 공원은 지속적 관리노력 필요 항목이 4개, 저우선순위 항목이 3개, 과잉 노력 지양항목이 2개로 평가되었다. 덕유산국립 공원은 지속적 관리노력 필요 항목이 3개, 우선시정 필요 항목 1개, 저우선순위 항목이 4개로 나타났다. 관리상태에 대한 전반적인 만족도는 2개소 모두 긍정적이며 국립공원 이용에 대한 종합적인 만족도 또한 3점 이상으로 나타났으나 덕유산국립공원이 태안해안국립공원에 비해 두 분야 모두 더 높게 평가되었다. 태안해안국립공원은 세부 관리속성 모두에서 관리상의 미진한 점이 나타났다. 이는 산악형 국립공원과는 상이한 해상해안형 국립공원의 탐방특성에 기인 한 결과로 보이며 국립공원 유형별로 상이한 이용특성의 분석에 기초한 시설관리가 탐방만족 제고를 위한 필수요건으 로 판단된다.
The aim of this study was to investigate school dieticians’ awareness of the necessity for nutritional education and job satisfaction via qualitative research. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were carried out with 10 school dieticians. Results revealed that all participants said that schools urgently need nutritional education, and dietary attitude and unbalanced eating habits were the most urgent matters to be addressed. They made various suggestions related to revitalization of nutritional education: turning dieticians into nutritional educators, improving awareness of teachers and parents, receiving training on appropriate teaching methods, and so on. In response to their tasks, they considered bargaining with vendors and examination foods as the most burdensome tasks. In response to questions about how participants were treated in their workplaces, all participants reported low job satisfaction due to excessive work, lack of promotion opportunities, and low salary. To improve this, participants recommended creating a task manual, strengthening their role as managers, increasing their salary, and so on. Therefore, institutional support is necessary for dieticians to efficiently handle their excessive workload. In addition, an educational environment where dieticians can effectively carry out nutritional education needs to be created.
The mechanical properties and microstructures of Aluminum 6056 alloys were investigated for their use in the fabrication of a piton block. The EN-AW6056 alloys exhibited a tensile strength of 375 MPa for a solution treatment temperature of 550 oC for 2 h followed by an aging treatment at 190 oC for 4 h. The microstructures of the heat treated specimen showed that the Mg2Si phase with a size of 3~5 um was dispersed throughout the aluminum matrix when the heat treatment was done. Moreover, in order to identify the forgeability of the specimen, upsetting tests were done. For up to 80 % of the upsetting ratio, the specimen maintained its original shape, and at above 80 % of the upsetting ratio, the specimen underwent crack development. The specimen was successfully forged without any defects with the examined material conditions. The material conditions together with the forging conditions are discussed in terms of the microstructures and mechanical properties.
