The condition assessment of the road tunnel is based on the judgment of the responsible engineer about the expansion joint. The evaluation result is divided into the span unit or the sheet unit when calculating the evaluation result. Therefore, it was divided into span units and sheet units and the actual difference was compared.

In this study, ultrasonic detection device was applied to investigate connection part of concrete structure. Result of test, the internal void of connection part can be detected and it was possible to adopt the ultrasonic detection method to the maintenance of concrete structure.

Based on the study of chloride migration coefficient and hydration heat evolution, it was found that the use of ternary blended cement was effective to achieve desired service life and minimum crack index. On the other hand, a high level of compressive strength is required for marine concrete mix design.

Reinforced concrete structures are deteriorated in a few decades due to various causes, such as carbonation. Therefore it is important to evaluate the accurate carbonation depth in order to secure the durability of the structure. In this paper, carbonation depth by drilling excavation and splitting core sample are compared. Also, the procedure for estimating the appropriate repair zone is proposed, with the result of carbonation depth and steel bar detection.
