        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the seismic performance of RC frame building which was retrofitted by wing walls. At fitst, the seismic performance evaluation was performed on the deteriorated RC frame building by using capacity spectrum method. And the efficiency of the retrofit by using wing walls was checked from the evaluation of its seismic capacity for various layout. As a results, it was found that the wing wall increased the stiffness and strength of the building.

        The purpose of this research is describing the structural behavior of the Head-Splice Sleeve by a finite element analysis. It is consistent with the experimental date that considering the contact element between mortar and structural steel. This paper is trying to propose that the results of analysis method can be used on the future Finite Element Analysis.

        In this paper, the seismic performance of RC frame with deterioration of structural capacity was evaluated by using capacity spectrum method. And the efficiency of retrofit by using infilled masonry was checked from the evaluation of its seismic capacity for various layout. As a results, it was found that the masonry infill wall increased the stiffness and strength, but reduced ductility.

        This paper presents a finite element analysis to evaluate thermal conductivity of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) retrofit system in reinforced concrete structure. Especially, this paper focused on near-surface-mounted retrofit method; FRP is mounted into the groove after making a groove in concrete. Midias-FEA program was used to analyze the case that the epoxy was covered by various board to resist fire such as, calcium silicate or alumino silicate board. Analysis results give that the prediction of temperature transition from surface is possible by FE analysis and the result can be used to evaluate fire resistance of certain fire proof materials in FRP retrofit system.

        Recently, retrofit by using fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) has been widely applied to building structure. However, it loose the retrofit contribution under high temperature due to fire because of its low glass transition temperature. In this manner, this paper presents a study on the development of fire resistant capacity in FRP retrofit system. Thermal transition of various fire resistant materials were verified by performing high temperature loading test. As a result, it was found that calcium silicate and alumino silicate had high resistance on the heat transition.

        Recently, retrofits by using fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) have been widely performed for strengthening of reinforced concrete structure. However, in spite of the weakness of FRP for fire, the research result of it is not enough for practical use. In korea, fire is most frequent disaster which occurs in building. This means the improved structural capacity of building by a retrofit with FRP may be lost by fire if the FRP was not properly protected from it. In this paper, a fire analysis result is presented for the evaluation of damage of reinforced concrete member enhanced by FRP. As a result, the loss of strength of RC member is able to be predicted by using FE analysis with proper material properties for temperature variation.
