        철도 목침목은 양질의 목재 수급이 어려워짐에 따라 목침목의 품질이 저하되고 있고, 제작 과정에서 첨가되는 방부제의 일종인 크레오소트유의 환경 유해성으로 인해 국내외 철도 궤도분야에서 점차 그 사용이 감소되고 있다. 목침목을 대체할 수 있는 대체품 개발이 요구되는 상황에서, 목침목 대비 환경부하를 저감시키고 하중 저항성 및 내구성 향상이 가능한 플라스틱 침목에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 목침목 대체를 목표로 하는 플라스틱 침목의 성능 정립을 위하여 목침목의 정동적 강성 및 강도 시험을 수행하고 그 결과를 분석하였다.

        The strength and durability of PSC sleepers may deteriorate in the long term due to the cracks generated on the concrete surface, and maintenance is required to improve the strength and usability of sleepers and prolong the service life for a certain period. In this paper, flexural strength tests were carried out on rectangular parallelopiped specimens and real cracked PSC sleepers to evaluate the contribution of the flexural performance for the liquid-type reinforcing materials.

        The use of wood sleepers is on the decline due to their material and environmental disadvantages. Recently, the recycling of plastics and reuse as railway sleepers have become a social concern. In Europe and US, plastic sleepers have already been used, and some standards on plastic sleeper have been established. In this paper, performance requirements and test items of a plastic sleeper were described through the analysis of prEN 17318 series relevant to plastic sleeper.

        For quantitative assessment of flexural strength by crack condition of PSC sleeper, which is one of the main components of the ballasted track, 9 PSC sleepers used in Gyeongbu high speed railway line were sampled and static bending strength tests were conducted by EN 13230-2. The flexural strength of PSC sleepers with some mesh or longitudinal cracks was lower than that of new sleepers. In particular, the flexural strength of PSC sleepers with mesh-type cracks was less than 40% of the new sleepers’ flexural strength. The flexural strength of uncracked sleepers was similar to that of new sleepers

        In order to complement the defects of a ballasted track requiring continuous maintenance and a concrete track where the initial construction cost is expensive, research on an asphalt concrete track that is easy to maintain, economical and environmentally friendly is underway. In order to investigate the safety and the applicability of the asphalt concrete track, the test construction was carried out on the Kyeongbuk line. In this study, when the Mugunghwa train runs on the asphalt concrete track, the wheel load and lateral wheel load measured through the sensors installed at the rails were analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the track performance test standard was satisfied.

        아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도(ACT)의 변형을 최소화하고 구조적 안전성을 확보하기 위해서는, 열차 하중을 분산 및 저감시킬 수 있고 아스팔트 도상의 노출을 줄일 수 있는 광폭 형태의 콘크리트 침목이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 형상 설계를 통해 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목을 개발하였으며, 유한요소해석을 통해 레일 좌면부 및 침목 중앙부에 대한 구조 안전성을 검토하였다. 또한 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목의 설계 적합성을 검증하기 위하여, EN 13230-2에 의거 침목 주요 위치별로 정적 휨 강도 시험, 동적 휨 강도 시험 및 피로 시험을 수행하였다. 성능 시험 결과, 아스팔트 콘크리트 궤도용 광폭 PSC침목은 균열 하중, 파괴 하중, 및 균열 확대 여부 등 유럽 표준에서 요구되는 성능 기준을 모두 충족하였다.

        The tramway embedded track is the concrete slab track in which rail is embedded for transit and walking over the pavement. The multi-directional continuous supported embedded track system by liquid polyurethane has high performance in reducing sound and vibration, the advantage of maintenance abroad. Domestic newly-developed embedded track was installed in Osong-test site after laboratory test and yard test. In this paper, newly –developed Polycork ERS rail fastening system was tested and the embedded track system was tested in the field
