        This study has focused on the limitation of preceded studies about juveniles' repeated delinquency. The preceded studies have not deeply touched on the processed duration between the first and the second delinquency. In particular, this limitation has been a sort of barrier intervening for the delinquent juveniles on the level of social work practice. This study has been designed to examine the process of steeping in the second delinquency, then to find out some methods of social work intervention. For this study, 10 juveniles incarcerated in four reformatories have been interviewed in depth about their lives before arrested because of the second delinquency. The collected data has been analysed on the basis of the Grounded Theory method developed by Anselm Strauss and Juliet Corbin. The analysed data has been resulted that “the juveniles have been steeped in delinquency trying to adjust socially in difficult circumstance.” The delinquent juveniles have been classified in three types; ‘a resentment type’, ‘an anger type’, and ‘an earnest type’. For resonable rehabilitation of the repeated delinquent juveniles, the following suggestions are available. Firstly, the juveniles have to prepare throughly in reformatory before getting back home. Secondly, the juveniles who are in difficulty personally have to be served enough time in halfway house. Thirdly, some programs must be served to the juveniles to build positive relationships with neighbors including families and friends. Fourthly, continuous programs should be served to the juveniles according to the each types of repeated delinquent juveniles.

        This study is designed to examine the released habitual criminals' life focused on the correctional volunteers' experience. Recently, incarceration of habitual criminals has been issued as a sort of social problem in terms of human rights, and the correctional authorities are going to release the habitual criminals to communities. In this context, it is very important task to study on the habitual criminals' life after their release from correctional institutions. In this study, mainly Grounded theory is applied to analyze the data which is collected through intensive interviews with 5 correctional volunteers. The 5 participants have experienced to help habitual criminals for more than 10 years. This interviewed data is analyzed by open coding, axial coding, and selective coding. According to the result of the study, it is found that released habitual criminals make their lives in the following three ways, an adaptive model, a rough model, and an offence model. Firstly, an adaptive model makes their way well with difficulties. Secondly, a rough model make their lives in legally and illegally. Thirdly, an offence model commit a crime again, and get back to correctional institution. For these reasons, it is necessary that social workers have to intervene the released habitual criminals' rehabilitation in the regards of the models.

        This study is focused on the process of community resource building for the protective and corrective agencies. Because of lack of skills and funds at these agencies, it becomes known that various resources should be mobilized from the community to enhance the capacity of those correctional institutions. The mobilization of community resource is much required not only for the high quality of programs but also for the development of the participants. In the study, social exchange theory and some concepts including voluntary are mentioned to rationalize the process of community resource building. Also three cases are introduced as the community resource building in the field of corrections. A model of community resource building for the protective and corrective agencies is developed based on the theory and those concepts. Community resource building could be processed through the following levels; assessment, recruitment, training, application, and evaluation. Specially, community resource building should be emphasized to reward the participants for their efforts. Furthermore, community resource building is an important independent program from the main program which is to be conducted at the correctional centers. The model of community resource building developed in this study needs to be applied at the correctional institutions to make up for the weak points.
