Mecysolobini족에 속하는 Sternuchopsis (Sternuchopsis) waltoni (Boheman, 1844) (메꽃통바구미; 신칭) 암컷 1개체를 한반도의 남단인 부 산의 가덕도 야산에서 떨어잡기를 통해 채집하였다. 이 바구미가 국내 식물방역법상 검역해충으로 지정되어 있어 침입종 또는 자생종 인지 여부를 판단할 필요가 있으나 현재 작물에 대한 피해가 확인되지 않고 있고, 그 밖의 채집정보도 없어 그 판단은 무리가 있다고 생각된다. 본 연구는 이 바구 미에 관한 국내 발생정보를 더 확보하기 위한 정확한 진단정보 및 생태정보를 제공하고자 한다.

1983년 대학 2학년 때 ‘식물분류학 및 실험’ 과목을 수강하면서 우리나라 곤충상을 제대로 밝혀 보겠다는 포부를 가지고 곤충분류연구실에 문을 두드렸던 기억이 여전히 생생합니다. 그를 계기로 다듬이벌레목 및 딱정벌레목의 바구미상과를 연구대상으로 곤충분류학에 입문하였습니다. 그 결과물로 한국산 바구미류에 대하여 2000년에는 373종, 2001년에는 150종에 대한 ‘원색도감’을 발간하게 되었으며, 2011～2014년에는 대한민국생물지 ‘한국의 곤충 - 바구미류 Ⅰ～Ⅴ권’을 발간함으로써 한반도 바구미상과 곤충상에 대한 이해의 폭을 넓힐 수 있었습니다. 1990년부터 농업해충 연구를 시작, 가옥해충 관리 분야에 관심을 가지게 되면서 1996년에 ‘저장곡물해충의 유충검색 및 생태’ 책자 및 2017년에 ‘저장곡물해충 및 위생해충(파리류) 도감’을 발간하였으며, 이 저장곡물해충으로부터 식품에서 문제를 일으킬 곰팡이독소 생성 병원균을 분리․동정(2018)하여 저장식품 관리의 기초를 제공하는 한편, 2008년에는 ‘박물관과 유해생물 관리’ 책자를 발간하여 문화재 관리에서 해충의 중요성을 일깨웠습니다. 1999년부터는 식물검역업무와 인연을 맺게 되면서 검역현장에서 필요로 하는 검역해충의 동정기술을 개발하여 식물검역관 교육에 힘쓰는 한편, 세계적으로 이슈화 되고 있는 침입외래해충에 대한 생물안보 분야 연구에 집중하게 되었습니다. 그 결과로 ‘외래해충의 검출 및 유입현황 분석(2012～2019)’과 ‘주요 침입해충종의 유입경로 파악(잔디왕 바구미(2009), 미국선녀벌레(2015, 2016), 꽃매미(2013), 블루베리혹파리(2015), 유럽좁쌀바구미(2018))’을 통해 생물안 보 업무에 되먹임(feedback) 및 과학적인 도구로 활용될 수 있도록 하였습니다. 2013년부터는 대학에서 친환경 해충관리 분야 연구를 집중하고 있습니다. 그 결과로 ‘노린재류 및 씨살이좀벌, 알락하늘소류 해충에 대한 효과적인 천적 탐색(2015～2018)’ 및 ‘인공알을 이용한 천적의 대량증식 기술(2018)’을 개발하여 종합적 해충관리의 학문적 발전을 유도하고 있습니다. 또한 산림청으로부터 수목진단센터를 유치하여 운영하는 한편, 나무의사제도의 안정적인 정착을 위해 생활권 수목에서 문제시 되는 해충을 올바르게 진단하고 효과적으로 관리할 수 있도록 산림해충 연구에 집중하고 있으며, 2019년 3월에는 ‘수목해충학’ 책자를 교재로 발간하였습니다. 오늘 송정곤충학상을 수상하게 됨을 계기로 제 자신을 뒤돌아보면서 농림해충관리 및 생물안보 분야에 있어서 농민 및 관계자 분들에게 조금이나마 유용한 정보 및 기술을 제공할 수 있도록 알찬 연구 및 후학양성에 더욱 매진할 것을 다짐해 봅니다. 우리나라 응용곤충학 분야의 권위 있는 송정곤충학상을 수상하게 되어 개인적으로 큰 기쁨이고 영광이라 생각하면서 한편으론 송구스럽기도 합니다. 저 자신의 노력보다는 연구방향을 지도편달해주신 많은 선생님 및 선배님, 같이 연구해온 많은 동료 및 후배님들 덕분에 이러한 영광을 누릴 수 있음을 밝히면서 한국응용곤충학회 모든 회원님들께 깊이 감사를 드립니다.

한국산 거저리과의 미기록인 Palorus Mulsant에 속하는 2종인 넓은이마쌀도둑거저리(신청)(Palorus ratzeburgii (Wissman, 1848))와 좁은이마쌀도둑거저리(신칭)(P. subdepressus (Wollaston, 1864))를 보고한다. 이들 2종은 열대 및 아열대 지역에서 저장곡물해충으로 중요하지만, 국내 정미소에서는 아주 낮은 밀도로 발생하고 있다. 이들 미기록종에 대한 성충 사진, 진단형질, 저장곡물의 검역해충인 본 속의 6종에 대한 검색표를 제공하였다.

Members of the order Psocoptera are known as psocids (commonly called booklice or bark lice). There are more than 5,500 species in 41 familes in three suborders. The suborder Psocomorpha is the largest suborder in Psocoptera, containing 25 of the 41 psocopteran families. Psocomorphan familes are classified into four groups: Epipsocetae, Caeciliusetae, Homilopsocidea and Psocetae. Families Caeciliusidae and Stenopsocidae belong to the group Caeciliusetae. The family Caeciliusidae is the largest family of Psocomorpha, and is widely distributed in all zoogeographical regions. Monophyly was not supported by any autapomorphy (Yoshizawa, 2002). The Stenopsocidae is distributed in the Afrotropical, Palearctic, Oriental, and Australian regions. Monophyly is well supported by the presence of the R1-R2+3 crossvein, M-CuA1 crossvein, and lateral pouch of the spermathecal sac (Yoshizawa, 2002). These families, Caeciliusidae and Stenopsocidae consist of about 676 described species in 32 genera and about 188 described species in 4 genera, respectively. In Asia, there were reported 337 species belonging to 11 genera and 154 species belonging to 4 genera from China (Li, 2000) and 22 species belonging to 6 genera and 7 species belonging to 2 genera from Japan (Yoshizawa, 2004), respectively, but there have not been known from Korea until now. This study is the first work to make the checklist of the Korean Psocoptera. Through this study, I have reported 2 species of families Caeciliusidae and Stenopsocidae new to Korea, respectively. 2007년부터 2011년 사이 우리나라로 수입된 식물류에서 검출된 113종의 깍지벌레 목록을 정리하였으며, 이들 종들의 검출횟수, 기원, 기주식물 및 분포에 대한 자료도 추가하였다. 한편, 동 자료의 분석을 통해 국내 유입시 식물에 피해를 줄 것으로 예상되는 깍지벌레 종에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 한다.

 ,  , The family Brachyceridae is reported for the first time in Korea and is represented by Desmodophorus hebes(Fabricius, 1781). A revised description, morphological photographs of adults, illustrations of genitalia, a key to the families of Korean Curculionoidea, and a key to the East Asian species of Desmidophorus are provided.

Cutaneous vasculitis is an inflammatory necrotizing disease of the blood vessel walls. In most cases, the etiology is due to immune-complex disease from type III hypersensitivity. Clinical signs include swelling, erythema, purpura, erythematous plaques, ulceration, and necrosis. Clinical lesions may be localized to distal extremities or areas of less extensive collateral circulation. In this case, history, physical examination, laboratory findings, cytology, histopathologic examination, and immunohistochemistry might aid in differentiation of a clinically similar disease. Consequently, this case was diagnosed as cutaneous vasculitis and treated with ointment containing corticosteroid and antibiotics over a period of two weeks. After treatment, all of the clinical lesions had disappeared.

The purpose of this study was to examine the interfacial reaction between diamond grits and Ni-based, Ag-based, brazing filler metal, respectively. The morphology of the interface between diamond grits and Ni-based, filler metal exhibited a very good condition after this heat treatment. Cr-carbide and Ni-rich compounds were detected by XRD analysis in the vicinity of the interface between diamond grits and Ni-based, filler metal after vacuum induction brazing. Chromium carbide is considered to play an important role in the high bonding strength achieved between diamonds grits and the brazing alloy.

We present N-body simulations of globular clusters including gravitational field of the Galaxy, in order to study effects of tidal field systematically on the shape of outer parts of globular clusters using NBODY6. The Galaxy is assumed to be composed of central bulge and outer halo. We mvestigate the cluster of multi-mass models with a power-law initial mass function (IMF) starting with different initial masses, initial number of particles, different slopes of the IMF and different orbits of the cluster. We have examined the general evolution of the clusters, the shape of outer parts of the clusters, density profiles and the direction of tidal tails. The density profiles appear to become somewhat shallower just outside the tidal boundary consistent with some observed data. The position angle of the tidal tall depends on the location in the Galaxy as well as the direction of the motion of. clusters. We found that the clusters become more elongated at the apogalacticon than at the pengalacticon. The tidal tails may be used to trace the orbital paths of globular clusters.

한국산 바구미과의 좁쌀바구미아과에 속하는 Coeliodina아족, Ceutorhynchina아족, Hypurina아족, Mecysmoderina아족 및 Orobitini족을 정리한 결과 20종이 밝혀졌으며, 그 중 세모발좁쌀바구미(신칭), Cyphosenus moholeei sp. novo와 뾰족가슴좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Mecysmoderes nigrinus sp. novo 2종을 신종으로, 갈색좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Coeliodes brunneus Hustache; 띠갈색좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Coeliodes nakanoensis H Hustache; 혹좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Phytobiomorphus bifasciatus Voss; 가슴골좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Cardipennis s sulcithorax Hustache; 초록좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Ceutorhynchus diffusus (Hustache); 콘초록좁쌀바구미 (신칭), C Ceutorhynchus sulcicollis (Paykull), 쇠비름좁쌀바구미 (신칭), Hypurus bertrandi (Perris); 알좁쌀바구미 (신칭), O Orobitis apicalis Kono 8種을 韓國未記錄種으로 보고하며, 이들에 대한 성충, 생식기의 그림을 제공하였다.

한국산 바구미과에 속하는 좁쌀바구미아과의 연구사를 정리하고, Rhinoncina아족, Scleropterina아족 및 Amalina아족을 정리한 결과 16종이 밝혀졌으며, 그 중 육절애좁쌀바구미(신칭), Phytobius quadricornis(Gyllenhal); 둥근어깨좁쌀바구미(신칭), Rutidosoma weisei Faust; 나무딸기좁쌀바구미(신칭), Scleropteroides hypocrita(Hustache); 날개가시좁쌀바구미(신칭), Zacladus radula Hochhuth; 홀수볼록좁쌀바구미(신칭), Wagnerinus costatus(Hustache); 큰좁쌀바구미(신칭), Tapinotus sellatus(Fabricius)6종을 한국미기록종으로 보고하며, 이들에 대한 성충, 생식기의 그림을 제공하였다.
