The purposes of this study are to examine the effects of the speech-analysis software on Korean college students' pronunciation improvement, and to find out ways to enhance the efficiency of computer-based visual feedback in the teaching of English pronunciation. The participants of the study are 89 English-major college students who are required and expected to have native-like pronunciation. A total of 178 recorded pronunciation data of pre-and post-tests were analyzed in terms of consonants, tense/lax vowels, consonant clusters, and phonological changes. The major findings of the study are as follows: First, the use of speech-analysis software was effective in improving the students' pronunciation. Second, the use of speech-analysis software was more effective at the discourse-level than at the word-in-isolation or sentence levels. In addition, it was more effective to students with low level pronunciation proficiency than those with high level proficiency. Third, the use of speech-analysis software was the most effective in training word-initial [h]-deletion of function words at the sentence level. Fourth, the participants responded that the visual feedback of speech-analysis program was useful in self-monitoring and self-correcting their pronunciation errors. Based on these findings, some pedagogical suggestions are made with respect to the didactic use of speech-analysis software in the teaching of English pronunciation.

This study is about the development of information system software process quality evaluation model for domestic medium enterprises based on CMMI being used widely in the world. In this study, a new evaluation model is developed through establishing tailoring guide and its application to the existing mode by reflecting the quality management method and conditions of domestic medium enterprises within CMMI Level 2 and Level 3. The evaluation model is constituted 3 processes, 11 achievement goals, 50 practice activities and 125 evaluation items. The average point of quality evaluation of enterprises of insurance business shows 79.1 based on the evaluation model. The average point of the enterprises certified from CMMI is 82.7 which is 3.3 point higher than non-certified enterprises. This result means that the new evaluation model has similar results with the existing evaluation model while it also has discriminational characteristics compared with the existing model.

현대사회가 기술을 기반으로 발전하면서 기술발달의 요체인 원천기술의 공개에 대한 필요가 증대되면서 오픈소스의 개념이 도출되었다. 오픈소스는 소스코드의 공개만을 의미하는 것이 아니다. 이는 소프트웨어 특허를 통한 독점·배타적 보호가 오히려 소프트웨어 산업과 기술의 발전에 저해요인이 된다는 것을 기초로 전개되었다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 이러한 오픈소스를 기반으로 한 오픈소스소프트웨어 라이센스에 관한 법적 쟁점은 특허와 관계된 것과 저작권과 관계된 것으로 나눌 수 있다. 저작권은 이용허락의 형태로 체결되고, 특허는 실시권의 형태로 체결된다. 오픈소스라이센스 계약은 공개여부, 권리자의 표시, 재배포의 문제로 분류하여 고려되어야 할 것이다. 결국 OSS라이센스는 산업의 발전을 위해 원천기술의 공개와 이를 바탕으로 한 신기술의 개발 사이에서 발생할 수 있는 문제에 대한 논의이고, 궁극적으로는 지적재산권의 태생적 한계에 대한 논의이다. 따라서 권리의 다발이라고 일컬어지는 지적재산권은 권리자의 보호범위가 넓어질수록 이용자의 권리와 문화·기술의 발전에 저해요인이 되므로 이러한 오픈소스운동과 같은 순기능의 실현이 더욱 필요하리라 여겨진다.

A software simulator is developed for verifying the VLBI Correlation Subsystem (VCS) trial product hardware. This software simulator includes the delay tracking, fringe rotation, bit-jump, FFT analysis, re-quantization, and auto/cross-correlation functions so as to confirm the function of the VCS trial product hardware. To verify the effectiveness of the developed software simulator, we carried out experiments using the simulation data which is a mixed signal with white noise and tone signal generated by software. We confirmed that the performance of this software simulator is similar as that of the hardware system. In case of spectral analysis and re-quantization experiment, a serious problem of the VCS hardware, which is not enough for expressing the data stream of FFT results specified in VCS hardware specification, was found by this software simulator. Through the experiments, the performance of software simulator was verified to be efficient. In future, we will improve and modify the function of software simulator to be used as a software correlator of Korea-Japan Joint VLBI Correlator (KJJVC).

소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스라는 것은, 컴퓨터프로그램을 특정 컴퓨터에 설치한 후에 사용하는 것이 아니라, 해당 프로그램을 실행시키려고 할 때마다, 이의 실행에 필요한 파일들을 서버로부터 다운로드받아서 해당 프로그램을 실행시키고, 이 프로그램을 종료하면 다운로드받았던 파일들 전부 혹은 대부분을 해당 컴퓨터에서 삭제하는 서비스이다. 이러한 방식으로 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용할 때, 전형적으로는 패키지 형태로 판매되는 컴퓨터 프로그램의 경우 해당 프로그램이 실행되는 컴퓨터마다 하나씩의 제품을 구입하여 사용하여야 하나, 이러한 서비스를 이용하여 학교 전체에서 구매한 컴퓨터 프로그램 수량을 넘지 않게 해당 컴퓨터 프로그램의 동시사용을 제한하기 때문에 실질적으로 구매하여야 할 컴퓨터 프로그램의 총 수량이 줄어드는 결과를 초래할 수 있고, 이런 이유로 컴퓨터프로그램 제작사와 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스제공업자 간에 분쟁이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 분쟁의 해결을 위하여 우선 패키지로 판매되는 컴퓨터 프로그램의 라이선스를 해석하여 이러한 라이선스 하에서 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스를 사용할 수 있는지를 살펴보아서, 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스를 사용할 수 있는 라이선스라면, 이러한 라이선스 하에서는 저작권 침해 여부를 따로 판단할 필요가 없다. 그렇지 않은 경우 소프트웨어 스트리밍 방식으로 컴퓨터 프로그램을 이용하는 것이 저작권을 침해하는지에 대해서 개별 저작권별로 파악할 필요가 있다. 이렇게 개별 저작권별로 판단할 때, 일정 범위로 제한된 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스는 저작권을 침해하지 않는다. 컴퓨터 프로그램의 경우, 일반 저작물과 달리 그 특성을 고려한 판단을 해야 될 필요가 있고, 컴퓨터 프로그램 라이선스 또한 일반 계약과 달리 판단해야 할 필요가 있다. 결론적으로 그 사용에 있어서 제한적으로 소프트웨어 스트리밍 서비스를 이용하는 것은 저작권을 침해하지 않으며, 이러한 판단에 있어서 쉬링크랩 라이선스의 특수성 및 컴퓨터 프로그램의 특수성을 고려한 판단을 해야만, 급속하게 발달하는 IT기술에 저작권법이 발맞추어 적용될 수 있다.
