본 연구는 보육교사가 지각한 직무스트레스가 교사와 영유아 상호작용 에 미치는 영향을 분석하고 사회적지지의 매개효과를 검증하고자 한다. 이를 통해 보육의 질에 직접적 영향을 미치고 있는 교사와 영유아의 상호작용의 중요성을 인지하고 보육교사에 대한 사회적 지지 향상 및 직무스트레스 해소를 위한 사회제도 개선 및 정책 마련의 기초자료 를 제공하고자 한다. 연구결과, 보육교사의 직무스트레스가 교사와 영유아의 상호작용에 직접적인 영향을 미치지는 않았으나 사회적 지지에 부적 상관관계를 나타내고 사회적 지지는 교사와 영유아의 상호작용에 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 또한 사회적 지지가 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 보육교사의 직무스트레스, 사회적 지지, 교사와 영유아의 상호작용은 유의미한 상관관계를 가지며 보육교사의 직무스트레스가 낮고 사회적 지지가 높을 때 교사와 영유아의 상호작용은 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

예비유아교사의 글로벌 마인드는 미래사회의 글로벌리더인 유아와 그 가족뿐 만 아니라 미래의 글로벌 시민교육의 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 본 연구는 포괄 적이고 광범위한 글로벌 마인드의 개념에 대한 교직인성관련 구성요인을 탐색 하고, 교직인성교육을 실행하였다. 예비유아교사의 글로벌 마인드 함양을 위해 J지역 예비유아교사 175명을 대상으로 6개요인 28문항을 구성하였다. 프로그램 실행 결과, 사전-사후 비교 및 학년별 비교에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타내었다(p< .05). 예비유아교사의 글로벌 마인드 함양과정은 미래에 사라질 직업이라는 불안감 과 두려움으로 나타났으나, 다름은 다양함으로, 두려움은 호기심으로, 회피적인 성향은 다가서려는 노력으로, 낯설음은 새로움으로 변화과정을 나타내었다. 교직인성과 관련해 포괄적인 개념을 모두 반영하지 못한 제한점이 있으나, 예비유아교사의 글로벌 마인드 함양을 위한 교육모형을 제시한 점에서 의의를 찾아볼 수 있다.

본 연구는 영아반 보육교사의 보육 효능감과 직무 만족이 교사와 영아의 상호작용에 미치는 영향에 대하여 검증함으로써, 교사와 영아의 긍정적인 상호작용으로 영아의 건전한 성장발달과 보육의 질을 향상할 방안을 마련하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적에 따라 독립변수는 보육교사의 보육 효능감과 직무 만족, 종속변수는 영아와 교사의 상호작용으로 구성하였다. 보육교사의 직무 만족이 교사와 영아의 상호작용에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석 결과, 보육 효능감과 직무 만족은 교사와 영아의 상호작용에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과에서 보육교사의 보육 효능감은 직무 만족을 통해 교사와 영아의 상호작용 수준을 향상할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

The purpose of this study was to explore the perceived benefits of telecollaboration for Korean pre-service teachers of English. This study connected Korean pre-service teachers to American pre-service teachers. In a one-to-one relationship, each pair exchanged their weekly writings about the assigned topics over six weeks and shared their ideas. To explore the perceived benefits that the Korean pre-service teachers of English perceived and provide a rich description, this study focused on the five Korean pre-service teachers’ thoughts reflected in their reflective papers, their writings in the Google Sites, and the final reflection paper. Data were analyzed based on a qualitative approach using the content analysis. The results showed that the Korean pre-service teachers perceived that the online interactions with the target language speakers promoted their intercultural and linguistic competences as well as some affective domains such as confidence and motivation levels. Building upon the findings, this study provides significant pedagogical implications for instructional practices for the educators and researchers.

This study identified and examined earth science education department programs in Korea. Major courses provided by 11 universities and their course requirements were analyzed, and the main research results are as follows. First, many basic courses, other major requisite, and elective courses are provided in geology, astronomy, and atmospheric science. oceanography, geophysics, earth environmental science, and natural disaster and energy resources had fewer major requisite courses provided in addition to basic courses, and few elective courses were offered. Second, many courses in science education focused on earth science, while others focused on general science and there were few courses that covered education theory regarding the specific subject. Third, science course application requirements emphasized the understanding of science in general or of earth science specifically. From the above results, additional studies are proposed to reflect on the current state and supplement these programs.

본 연구는 유아교사의 조망수용능력이 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 데 있다. 수도권 지역 유치원과 어린이집 교사 305명을 대상으로 조망수용능 력과 정서조절능력 검사를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 도출하기 위해 빈도분석, 일원분산분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 두려움, 흥분, 기쁨 상황의 정서 상황에서 유아교사의 조망수용능 력이 수준에 따라 감정조절능력의 하위요인들에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 정서 상황에서 유아교사의 조망수용능력과 정서조절능력의 각 요인 간의 상 관관계를 살펴본 결과 조망수용능력의 하위 요인인 자기이해, 타인이해, 탈중심 화, 조직이해와 정서조절능력 간에는 모두 유의한 정적 상관으로 나타났다. 셋째, 정서 상황에서 유아교사의 조망수용능력의 하위요인인 자기이해, 타인이해, 탈중심화, 조직이해가 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 유아교사 의 조망수용능력이 정서조절에 미치는 영향은 두려움, 충격, 기쁨의 상황에서 유의하였으나, 흥분 상황에서는 유의하지 않았다. 조망수용능력 중 자기이해능 력은 두려움, 충격, 기쁨 상황에서 유아교사의 정서조절능력에 정적으로 유의한 영향을 미쳤고, 타인이해는 기쁨 상황에서 유아교사의 정서조절능력에 부적으 로 유의한 영향을 미쳤다.

21세기 이래, 중국은 ‘교육 강국’이라는 구호를 내걸고 국가와 정부 는 교육 사업을 우선적으로 발전시키고 있다. 중국은 9년제 의무교육 을 실시하고 공립초등학교는 국가에서 전액 지원하고 있다. 그러나 사립초등학교는 독립적으로 운영되며 중소학교교육의 불가결의 일부 분이다. 이는 공립학교의 스트레스를 완화시켰을 뿐만 아니라 학교운 영의 특색도 형성하였다. 중국에서는 공립ㆍ사립 초등학교가 모두 입 시 위주의 교육 아래 같은 응시 과정을 실시한다. 그러나 법에 의해 설립된 교육기구로서 중국의 사립초등학교는 국가의 전액재정보조가 없기에 독립적인 관리, 독립적인 모집과 교직원 관리가 필요하다. 공 립초등학교 교원과 비교할 때 작업강도가 높고 사회적 지위와 인정 도가 낮기 때문에 중국 사립 소학교의 교원은 일반적으로 불안정하 다. 이 연구는 중국 강서성의 5개 사립초등학교 교사 360명을 대상으 로 341개의 유효한 표본을 수집했다. 본 연구는 <초등학교 교사 직 업행복감>을 측정도구로 사용하였다. 조사 데이터를 기초로 본 연구 는 강서성 사립초등학교 교사들의 직업 행복감의 현황과 사립초등학 교 교사들의 직업 행복감에 영향을 미치는 다른 차원 총체적 특징을 분석했다. 연구결과에 대한 데이터분석을 통해 중국 사립 초등학교 교사들의 사회지지와 자아실현의 어려움이 교원직업의 행복체험에 영향주고 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그 결과를 보면 중국에서 사립 초등학교 여자 교사의 직업 행복감이 남자 교사보다 높았고, 청년 교 사의 직업 행복감이 교사 연령이 긴 교사보다 높았음을 알 수 있다. 문학, 수학, 영어 과목은 초등학교 주요 시험 과목이다. 3개 주요 시 험 과목의 교사들은 사회적 지원을 받기 때문에 상대적으로 직업 행 복도가 높게 나타나고 있다. 연구결과에 근거하여 다음과 같은 대책을 제기한다. 첫째, 사회에 대한 인식을 전환하고 사립초등학교 교원의 사회적 지위를 제고시켜 야 한다. 둘째, 사립 초등학교는 자기의 독특한 학교 운영 특성을 수 립할 때 교원의 주체역할을 강화하고 교원의 관리역할을 충분히 발 휘시켜야 한다. 셋째, 사립 초등학교 교원에 대한 관심을 강화해야 한다. 학교 관리자들은 인문 배려를 통해 교원의 수요를 만족시키고 교원의 친근감과 학교에 대한 귀속감을 제고해야 한다. 남녀 교사, 청년 교원, 수업 연한이 긴 교원 및 각 학과 교원에게 적합한 직업발 전환경을 제공해야 한다.

HPT research studies and practices have been largely conducted in the corporate setting, leaving education as a neglected context despite its strong emphasis on performance in teaching, learning, and school management. In this study, we examine the application of the HPT standards and their effects on Korean teachers’ performance goal achievement for students. With HPT standards, we also investigate the interaction effect of teacher tenure on the relationship among HPT standards and goal achievement. The Hayes Process Model is adopted to examine the second-stage moderated mediation model. The findings support that the principle standards positively mediate the effect of the process standards on the teachers’ goal achievement, and teacher tenure moderates the HPT standards’ effects on goal achievement. The practical and theoretical implications of the results are discussed, as well as limitations and future research suggestions

The purpose of this study was to explore how English teachers perceive the appropriateness of the quantity and level of content in the 2015 Revised National English Curriculum. In order to evaluate the appropriateness of the modified curriculum, a survey questionnaire was administered to English teachers at elementary and middle schools across Korea. Teachers and university professors were also consulted for guidance regarding the appropriate quantity and level of content. According to the survey results, both elementary and middle school teachers believe that the quantity and level of content are mostly appropriate for students. However, responses related to the appropriateness of achievement standards for reading and writing were less positive than those for listening and speaking for children in elementary school grades 5 and 6 and middle school grades 1 to 3. In general, methods of optimizing reading and writing content in the English curriculum are discussed.

The purpose of this research study is to identify the perceptions of both primary ELL(English Language Learner)s and English teachers on MMP(Multimodal Media Production)-embedded English instruction at a primary English class. In order to answer this question, 182 primary ELLs and 2 English teachers participated in this research. A questionnaire survey was administered to the focal participants and an open-ended interview was conducted with the teachers. The results show that overall perceptions on MMP were comparably high among ELLs, and there was significant difference between genders, grades and English levels in terms of learning interest. The teachers’ interview revealed that MMP would trigger deeper understanding of the lesson and ELLs’ voluntary active class participation by heightening motivation, self-confidence and interest in learning English. In sum, the implementation of MMP-embedded English instruction has positive pedagogical effects for young ELLs since it may promote essential literacy skills in the 21st century as well as help in affective domains.

본 연구는 어린이집 원장의 감성리더십과 서번트리더십이 보육교사의 행복플로리시에 미치는 영향력을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 충청남도 및 경기도 어린이집에 근무하는 보육교사 271명을 대상으로 설문 조사하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 원장의 감성리더십은 보육교사의 행복 플로리시에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 원장의 자기인식 및 자기관리능력은 전반적 행복플로리시를 제외한 모든 하위요인에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 사회인식 및 관계관리능력도 성취요인을 제외한 모든 하위요인 에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 원장의 서번트리더십의 구인 중 청지기정신 및 공동체 형성은 긍정적 정서에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 성장지원 및 리더십 공유는 교사의 행복플로리시 전체 요인에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 향후 보육교사의 잠재력 개발을 통한 성장과 발전을 위한 프로그램이나 교육의 내용을 구성하는데 유용한 자료가 될 것으로 기대한다.

이 연구의 목적은 실제 관찰의 맥락을 강조한 달의 위상 변화 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 드러나는 초등 예비교사의 설명 유형과 그 특징을 파악하여 초등 교사 양성 프로그램에서 고려해야 할 부분에 대한 시사점을 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위해 초등 예비교사 30명이 관찰 가능한 달의 위상을 설명한 내용을 분석하였으며, 주요한 연구 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 달의 위상 변화에 대해 현상의 관찰과 이에 대한 과학적 추론에 바탕을 두기 보다는 달의 위상별 출몰 시간표를 도입하여 설명하는 경우가 많았다. 둘째, 태양이 뜨면 달이 보이지 않거나 또는 달이 떠 있다면 무조건 달을 관찰할 수 있다고 생각하는 유형의 대안 개념이 확인되었다. 셋째, 달을 관찰할 수 있는 시각과 방위에 대해서는 태양의 위치와 무관하게 관찰할 수 있다거나 남중할 때 관찰할 수 있다고 설명하는 경우도 있었다. 또한 달을 관찰하는 날짜는 음력으로 상정하여 접근하는 방식도 볼 수 있었다. 이상의 결과로부터 교육학적인 시사점을 논의하였다.

Literature has been repeatedly recognized as an effective source of authentic materials in EFL classrooms. Literature exposes learners to coherent and expert writing which can enable them to write better and facilitates students’ creative writing skills. The purpose of this study was to investigate the teaching procedures of using short fiction in a Korean high school EFL course in which English writing and reading skills are integrated and to provide pedagogical suggestions for using authentic literature in EFL classrooms. First, this paper introduces a theoretical discussion of the advantages of using short fiction in an English writing instruction, and discusses reasons for selecting the Korean short novel Dongbackkot and the English short story “Araby” as resources for writing. After that pedagogical steps with practical classroom activities are described. We hope that the pedagogical suggestions provided here may inspire English teachers to design their teaching materials using appropriate literary texts to improve their students’ English essay writing and balanced communication skills.

With the rapid development of information technology and education informatization, the informational teaching ability of university teachers has become an indispensable ability of university teachers in the “Internet” era. Improving the ability of informational teaching and adapting to the development of the times have become the only way for the development of university teachers. This paper explores the countermeasures to the improvement of the teaching ability of teachers in colleges and universities. Firstly, the paper expounds the basic connotation of college teachers' informatization teaching ability: information teaching awareness and attitude, basic ability of informatization teaching, information technology and curriculum integration ability, evaluation and innovation ability, etc. Secondly, analyzes the main problems existing in the information teaching ability of Chinese college teachers. Teachers in universities and colleges have a certain awareness of using infoumation technology in teaching, but their ability to apply information teaching technology is poor, expecially in application of informatization teaching resources. On this basis, we find out the countermeasure form the perspectives of the government, schools and teachers, aiming to promote the connotative construction and characteristic development in private colleges.

본 연구의 목적은 좋은 보육교사에 대한 주관적인 태도의 유형과 특성을 분석하기 위해 Q 방법론을 활용하는 것이었다. 선행논문과 심층면담을 통해 총 170개의 Q모집단을 구성하였으며, Q모집단 중에서 연구의 주제와 가장 관련성이 있고 대표성이 있다고 판단되는 33개의 진술문을 Q표본으로 최종 선정하였다. 연구를 위한 P표본은 P시에 근무중인 어린이집 교사 23 명을 선정하여 좋은 보육교사에 대해 인식하고 있는 것을 9단계로 Q분류하도록 하고 그 자료를 QUANL Program을 이용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과, 세 가지의 유형으로 분류되었고, 제 1 유형은 ‘인정형’, 제 2유형은 ‘소통형’, 제 3유형은 ‘민감형’으로 명명하여 제시하였다. 제 1유형은 아이들의 개인차를 인정하고 칭찬과 격려로 아이 존재 자체를 그대로 인정하며 안전하게 돌보아야 한다는 것으로 나타났고, 제 2유형은 밝고 유쾌함으로 아이들을 좋아하고 사랑하며 원장, 동료 교사와 협력적인 관계를 맺어야한다는 것으로 나타났으며, 제 3유형은 아이들을 사랑하고 아이들의 요구에 민감하게 반응하며 안전하게 돌보아야 한다는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 교사들에게 좋은 보육교사에 대해 인식할 수 있는 기회를 제공하며 보육의 질을 향상시키는데 밑거름이 되는 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 기대한다.

이 연구의 목적은 보육교사가 인식한 원장의 서번트 리더십, 근무환경과 교사의 자기개발욕구의 관계를 살펴보고, 원장의 서번트 리더십과 근무환경이 교사의 자기개발욕구에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 있다. 연구대상은 경기도(수원, 평택) 지역에 위치하고 있는 어린이집에서 근무 중인 보육교사 300명을 대상으로 하여, 빈도분석과 상관관계분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 보육교사가 인식한 원장의 서번트 리더십과 자기개발욕구의 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났고 자기개발욕구의 하위 요인 중 상관 관계는 전문적 발달영역, 조직적 발달영역, 개인적 발달영역 순으로 유의미한 상관관계를 보이고 있다. 둘째, 보육교사가 인식한 근무환경과 자기개발욕구의 상관관계는 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 나타났고, 자기개발욕구의 하위 요인 가운데 전문적 발달영역, 조직적 발달영역, 개인적 발달영역 순으로 유의미한 상관관계를 보이고 있다. 셋째, 보육교사가 인식한 원장의 서번트 리더십과 근무환경이 자기개발욕구에 미치는 영향에 대한 회귀분석 결과 보육교사의 근무환경이 자기개발욕구에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 원장의 서번트 리더십은 보육교사의 자기개발욕구에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 보육교사가 만족할 만한 근무환경이 자기개발욕구에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 점을 확인함으로써 원장의 서번트 리더십과 같은 심리적 지지도 중요하지만, 교사의 근무환경을 적절한 수준으로 개선하는 현실적, 실재적 지지가 교사들의 자기개발 욕구를 좀더 효과적으로 자극해 준다는 점을 시사해 준다. 이러한 시사점에 기초해서 원장의 어린이집 운영에 대한 인식 전환과 국가의 재정적 지원, 현실적인 보육료 책정이 필요하다고 본다.

This study aimed to investigate how two novice teachers in elementary schools conceptualized and developed their practical knowledge about English teaching. They provided their narratives about their teaching six times over the spring semester of 2019. Their narratives were recorded and transcribed. Two researchers examined the transcription to investigate what prior knowledge they had and how they developed their practical knowledge. It was found that their practical knowledge had constantly changed and developed. When they started teaching English, they had their own knowledge on English teaching, which seemed to come from their previous English learning experience and from their study on teaching English. As they applied these knowledge to their own teaching situations, they encountered many problems. The main situations that shaped their practical knowledge were 1) students' level of achievement, 2) level differences among students, 3) teacher status (classroom teacher or English specialist teacher), and 4) colleagues. While coping with those problems, they added new practical knowledge or modified the knowledge they had. The findings provided several implications on pre-service and novice teacher training.

보육교사는 보육활동에 필요한 결정, 보육과정 설계, 학습, 환경 관리 및 보육활동 계획 및 수행과 더불어 영유아의 발달을 평가할 수 있는 능력과 부모상담 및 영유아와의 전문적인 보육 상담 능력과 학력을 갖춘 전문가라고 이야기 할 수 있다. 이에 다양한 요구사항 및 의견 수렴, 효율적인 업무수행을 위해 전문적이고도 체계적인 훈련과정을 거쳐 교사로서의 전문성을 크게 인식하고 역할을 수행해야 하며, 지속적이고도 체계적인 자기 향상을 위한 노력이 필요할 것이다.

This paper examined the use of assessment techniques in extensive reading and students’ and teachers’ perceptions on the practice of extensive reading. A total of 232 university students who were placed at different proficiency levels of classes and 13 professors participated in the study by completing a questionnaire. In-depth interviews were carried out with a selected number of student and professor volunteers. Data were analyzed using t-tests to compare two different groups of students. Results revealed that writing short answers and assessments involving discussion with peers and professor were utilized more at the basic level, but students at the basic level reported discussion with peers and professor as the most effective assessment technique. In contrast, at the intermediate level, multiple-choice questions and T/F statements were used more as assessments, but students at the intermediate level reported that writing one’s opinion on themes was the most effective technique. Both groups believed that reading graded readers is helpful in improving reading skills and vocabulary as well as understanding other cultures. Results further revealed that professors preferred to use writing short-answer questions and in-class discussion as assessments on graded readers; however, they responded that a writing task was the most adequate type of assessment. In addition, they reported that graded readers are helpful in improving all language skills and favored the use of graded readers as part of the language program.
