        In recent automobile development, vehicle weight reduction has become a very important goal. Seat weight reduction is a large portion of vehicle weight reduction. In this study, a specimen tensile tests were conducted on the Almag material, which is an alloy of aluminum and magnesium, and also conducted on SAFH440, SAFH 590, SAFC780, and SAFH980, which are mild steel materials used in the seat frame. The tensile specimen tests were carried out in two speed; 2mm/s and 4mm/s, and the obtained stress to strain curve was converted to the analysis material card of true stress to true strain curve to be used in the seat structural analysis. The constructed analysis material card was used in the specimen tensile finite element analysis, and the analysis result was able to obtain the stress to strain curve similar to the test result.

        High-entropy alloys (HEAs) are characterized by having five or more main elements and forming simple solids without forming intermetallic compounds, owing to the high entropy effect. HEAs with these characteristics are being researched as structural materials for extreme environments. Conventional refractory alloys have excellent hightemperature strength and stability; however, problems occur when they are used extensively in a high-temperature environment, leading to reduced fatigue properties due to oxidation or a limited service life. In contrast, refractory entropy alloys, which provide refractory properties to entropy alloys, can address these issues and improve the hightemperature stability of the alloy through phase control when designed based on existing refractory alloy elements. Refractory high-entropy alloys require sufficient milling time while in the process of mechanical alloying because of the brittleness of the added elements. Consequently, the high-energy milling process must be optimized because of the possibility of contamination of the alloyed powder during prolonged milling. In this study, we investigated the hightemperature oxidation behavior of refractory high-entropy alloys while optimizing the milling time.

        In general, a large mirror without weight reduction in large optical or space telescope systems can increase the system’s weight or lead to significant deformation of the mirror surface. Thus, it is imperative to pursue lightweight design strategies. In this paper, the structure design of a spherical mirror, a diameter of 600mm and a mirror radius of 2,000mm, was investigated to reduce weight and minimize deformation. To establish load paths for internal and external loads, stiffeners were added across the lateral supports. This approach effectively reduced both weight and deformation caused by gravity. Weight reduction and reduction percentages were quantified, and the mirror deformation was evaluated by using finite element analysis (FEA). The proposed structures were compared with honeycomb structures for weight reduction. This evaluation allowed to assess the deformation characteristics and the potential advantages of the proposed structures for lightweight mirrors.

        본 논문에서는 1차원 오일러 보 요소(Euler-Bernoulli Beam Element)를 이용한 회전익기 축계에 대한 중량 최적설계를 수행하였다. 회전 축계의 특성을 고려해 비틀림(Torsion)과 베어링과 같은 축지지 강성 및 플랜지(Flange) 질량을 모두 고려하였고, 동적 안전성 확 보를 위해 고유치 해석을 수행하여 임계속도(Critical Speed)와 기어박스로부터 오는 치 변형 가진을 회피할 수 있도록 하였다. 축의 길 이는 고정된 상태에서 두께와 반경을 조절하여 중량 최적화를 수행하였으며, 최적화 과정은 2단계로 나누어 진행하였다. 1단계에서 는 비틀림 강도를 제약조건으로 하여 중량을 최적화한 후 2단계에서는 축계 안정성 확보 기준(Headquarters, U.S. Army Material Command, 1974)에 따라 축의 비틀림 강도에 대한 제약조건을 만족시키며, 축의 1차 모드가 임계속도를 회피할 수 있도록 축 1차모드 와 임계속도의 차이가 최대가 되도록 최적화를 진행하였다. 주어진 1차원 보 요소를 이용하여 최적설계를 한 결과를 3차원 유한요소 모델과 실제 제작된 축게의 시험결과와 비교하여 제안된 방법을 검증하였다.

        In the present paper, the natural fiber materials that can be replaced to reduce the weight of the vehicle are analyzed by bubble charts of - and - , and the possibility of alternative application of materials is investigated. For this purpose, the driving energy and fuel efficiency of the vehicle using the data of K model analyzed. In addition, the effect of vehicle weight on fuel efficiency was analyzed through the dynamic analysis approach of the vehicle. From the research results, the following results were obtained. Most of natural fibers have lower density and equal tensile strength and strain than metal materials. Therefore, the application rate of natural fiber materials should be increased in consideration of the application purpose and material characteristics of the vehicle. The major variables that greatly influence driving energy and fuel efficiency were fuel efficiency improvement of about 10% in order of speed, rolling resistance and mass. In addition, when steel is lightened by 10%, fuel efficiency improvement of up to maximum 4.5% is shown in the order of CFRP, Al, Ti.

        Weight-based exercise equipment is unreasonable because of its large weight or volume and has limitations in use at home. On top of that, it is not easy to control the weight of domestic muscular exercise devices such as dumbbells and latex bands. This study proposes a new type of exercise equipment that can be used at home by modifying the exercise equipment used in fitness centers. Home training exercise equipment has been optimized by replacing the weight of strength training equipment, which is the core of weight control, with electric motors. For optimal design, process integration and design optimization (PIANO), a commercial PIDO tool, was analyzed in conjunction with DAFUL, a multi-body dynamics analysis program. When formulating the optimal design, the objective function was to minimize the weight, and the shape of the pinwheel and pulley used in exercise equipment was proposed considering the stress of cables as design constraints. As a result of optimization, design proposals were derived while meeting the design requirements and reduced by 5% compared to the initial model. In this work, we have miniaturized the shape of exercise equipment compared to conventional exercise equipment by optimizing its shape.

        본 논문에서는 도서 지역 화물 및 승객 운송을 맡은 연안 항해용 친환경 차도선을 개발하면서, 검토된 주요 결과들에 대해서 논의한다. 시장에서의 경제성을 확보하기 위하여, 폭 19 m를 최종 개발모델 및 갑판면적에 많은 차량이 배치되도록 고려하였다. 조파저항 감소를 위해 선형 형상은 “V”에 선수벌수를 접목하였으며, 수치해석을 통해 개발 선박의 유체역학적 성능을 확인하였다. 선가를 직접 결정짓는 선각 중량을 감소하기 위하여, 최적화 전문 프로그램에 내재된 다목적 최적화 방법인 파레토 시뮬레이트 어닐링을 활용하여 약 3.9 %의 중량 절감을 달성하였다. 본 연구를 통해서 도출된 주요 결과들은 추후 쌍동형 차도선 관련 연구를 수행하는 엔지니어와 관련 산 업에 좋은 선례가 될 것으로 기대한다.

        The objective of this study is to optimize the diameter of tubular shaft yoke and solid shaft yoke, which are the core components of Al IMS for xEV. The processes of both products were designed totally 6 steps to manufactured the shaft part and the yoke part. The diameter of solid shaft yoke and tubular shaft yoke were changed from 20mm to 25mm and from 30mm to 35mm, respectively. Al 6082 was applied to the material of both products. The friction condition between die and material was employed Oil_Cold (Aluminum) with reference to the library in the program. The results were analyzed and compared in terms of effective stress, effective strain, and nodal velocity characteristics. The effective strain value for manufacturing the yoke part was higher than the shaft part because its part has a complex geometry. The value of nodal velocity was also higher with high effective strain region. However, in 6 stage process of tubular shaft yoke, although it had the high effective strain value, the nodal velocity value was the lowest due to the piercing process. The effect of shaft part diameter on effective stress in the tubular shaft was difficult to observe, however, in the solid shaft yoke, when the shaft part of one increased, the effective stress value was increased due to the larger yoke size.

        본 논문에서는 AISC 표준 단면을 설계 변수로 하는 캔틸레버 타입 헬리데크 모델의 유전 알고리즘 최적설계를 소개한다. AISC 표준 단면을 단면 형상별로 분류하고 단면적 순으로 정렬한 후 정수 단면 번호를 부여하여 설계 변수로 최적설계를 수행하였다. 이 과정을 통하여 이산화된 설계 변수를 가지는 최적설계 문제를 해결하기 위해 유전 알고리즘을 적용하였다. 또한, 제약조건으로 허용응력 및 허용응력비 검사 조건을 모두 고려하여 구조물의 구조 안정성을 고려한 설계를 수행하였다. 최적설계 과정중 매 반복계산 마다 수행되는 구조해석 시간을 단축시키기 위해 선형 중첩법을 사용하였고, 이를 통해 구조 해석 시간을 약 75% 감소시킬 수 있었다. 또한 헬리데크 최적설계의 경량 효과를 높이기 위해 부재 그룹 세분화를 하였고, 그 결과를 선행 연구 모델, 기존의 부재 그룹 모델과 비교하였다. 그 결과 선행연구 대비 약 30톤의 부재를 절감할 수 있었으며, 구조적으로도 보다 안전한 헬리데크 설계를 얻을 수 있었다.

        An aluminium sandwich sheet is the composite adhered by rolling two aluminum panels to one plastic core. If it has the same bending stiffness as an steel sheets, it is about 65% lighter than steel sheet and 30% lighter than aluminum sheet. In present study, we intend to develop application technologies of an aluminum sandwich sheet for auto body panels from selecting composed materials of aluminium sandwich sheets to fabricating prototype. For this study, for the application of a light sandwich sheet to an automotive hood part, ribbing process so called, hemming for which joined between an inner and an outer panel was introduced. From these results, it was found that the sandwich sheet could improve the weight and maintain the flexural rigidity simultaneously comparing to the steel sheet.

        In order to increase the production efficiency of the ship and shorten the production cycle, it is important to evaluate the accuracy of the ship components efficiently during the drying cycle. The accuracy control of the block is important for shortening the ship process, reducing the cost, and improving the accuracy of the ship. Some systems have been developed and used mainly in large shipyards, but in some cases, they are measured and managed using conventional measuring instruments such as tape measure and beam, optical instruments as optical equipment, In order to perform accuracy control, these tools and equipment as well as equipment for recording measurement data and paper drawings for measuring the measurement position are inevitably combined. The measured results are managed by the accuracy control system through manual input or recording device. In this case, the measurement result is influenced by the work environment and the skill level of the worker. Also, in the measurement result management side, there are a human error about the lack of the measurement result creation, the lack of the management sheet management, And costs are lost in terms of efficiency due to consumption. The purpose of this study is to improve the working environment in the existing accuracy management process by using the augmented reality technology to visualize the measurement information on the actual block and to obtain the measurement information And a smart management system based on augmented reality that can effectively manage the accuracy management data through interworking with measurement equipment. We confirmed the applicability of the proposed system to the accuracy control through the prototype implementation.

        본 연구는 전기자동차 충전시스템에서 전력변환장치의 경량화를 위한 최적화 분석프로세스에 대한 내용을 서술하였다. 최적화 설계는 재료 물성치에 대한 설계민감도와 수학적 최적화를 결합하여 주어진 재료량 제한조건 하에 최적의 재료분포를 찾는 설계기법으로 위상의 고정화, 자유도가 묶이는 문제 등을 해결할 수 있는 위상 최적화방법을 사용하였으며, 위상 최적화 방법 중 비교적 수식화가 간단하고 수렴성이 좋은 SIMP법(solid isotropic material with penalization)에 의해 경량화 설계를 수행하였다. 경량화 설계는 3단계의 절차로 구성하였으며, 첫 번째 단계로 전력변환장치의 기본 설계에 대한 유한요소모델을 구성하고, 하중에 대한 정적해석을 수행하였다. 두 번째 단계로 정적해석 결과에 대해 등방성 재료의 강성계수를 적용한 밀도법을 이용하여 위상 최적화를 수행하여 경량화를 위한 최적 형상을 도출하였다. 세 번째 단계로 최적 형상에 대해 차량 탑재 부품의 충격시험기준에 만족하는 반정현파 펄스형태 충격하중을 인가하여 충격해석을 수행하였다. 위상 최적화단계에서 사용 환경조건으로 설계영역 정의는 마운팅 브래킷 영역으로 제한하였으며, 마운팅 브래킷의 설계 최적화를 통해 최종적으로 기본설계대비 20%이상의 경량화가 가능한 설계기술을 확보하였다.
