        At present research on mining backfill materials is being carried out to prevent ground subsidence and breaking by underground cavern of exhausted mines. However, backfill materials can cause secondary environmental issues such as ground pollution. To solve these issues, liner and cover materials are constructed before backfill materials constructed, to inhibit toxic substances form moving to the surroundings. Liner and cover materials, however, should have an accelerating performance after construction and when the accelerating performance is degraded, the work efficiency can be lowered, and the construction cost can be increased, by many rebound content. Therefore, this study develops mining liner and cover materials, and evaluates their accelerating performance and physical properties of liner and cover materials by types and content of accelerating agent. In case of aluminate accelerating agent, it is mixed with more than 5% of liner and cover materials(binder/ratio); thus an accelerating performance satisfying Korean Industrial Standards(KS) occurs, and in case of alkali-free accelerating agent, when it is mixed with more than 7%(binder/ratio), accelerating performance satisfying KS occurs. The more the accelerating agent capacity increases, the more compressive strength decreases. In addition, it is confirmed that compressive strength of aluminate accelerating agent is more degraded than compressive strength of the alkali-free accelerating agent. It is also confirmed that drying shrinkage stability of the alkali-free accelerating agent is better than the drying shrinkage stability of the aluminate accelerating agent.

        The field test was conducted for the shotcrete construction using a slurry-type accelerator. Check the efficiency of the equipment and the accelerator was determined using the discharge amount for the accelerator ratio optimization. As a result, the efficiency of a slurry quick-setting admixture mix shotcrete and discharge rate results were evaluated to be excellent.

        This laboratory study showed the performance evaluations of a improved C12A7 based mineral accelerator (I-CA) by both mortar and shotcrete tests. Performance of I-CA as a shotcrete accelerator was excellent by KCI-SC-102, which is a Korean specifications of shotcrete accelerator. In addition, I-CA showed equal qualities to the setting time and the compressive strength when compared those of the existing C12A7 based mineral accelerator (CA). The I-CA was manufactured with 40wt.% of electric arc furnace reducing slag, 24wt.% of lime, and 36wt.% of bauxite, indicating that the commercialization of I-CA contributed to recycle electric arc furnace reducing slag and to reduce the manufacturing cost of C12A7 based mineral accelerator due to the use a cheap raw material(electric arc furnace reducing slag), and to reduce the greenhouse gas emission due to the reductions in usage of lime and bauxite.

        Although accelerators can be utilized for the prevention of early frost by developing the strength of concrete in cold weather, no security of workability occurs because early hydration makes them react rapidly. In this study, granulation was used as a method as it can control the response time of the accelerator to secure the workability of fresh concrete.

        본 연구에서는 alkali-free 및 aluminate 급결제를 사용한 OPC 및 GGBFS 숏크리트 모르타르의 응결특성, 강도특성, 전기저항성 및 염소이온 침투저항성을 실험적으로 고찰하였다. 실험결과에 따르면, alkali-free 급결제를 첨가한 GGBFS 모르타르는 응결시간 및 압축강도가 GGBFS 대체율에 관계없이 OPC 모르타르와 유사하게 나타났으나, aluminate 급결제를 첨가한 모르타르의 경우, GGBFS 대체율이 증가할수록 응결시간 및 압축강도가 크게 나타나는 경향을 보였다. 한편, 숏크리트 모르타르의 전기저항성 및 염소이온 침투저항성은 GGBFS를 50% 이상 대체한 모르타르가 우수한 경향을 나타내므로써, 적절한 대체율의 GGBFS를 사용한 모르타르가 숏크리트용 재료로써 우수한 성능을 나타낼 것으로 판단된다.

        KS F 2782(숏크리트용 급결제) 규격은 터널시공 또는 단면보수․보강 현장에서 사용되는 숏크리트용 급결제의 성능을 평가하기위한 규격이라 볼 수 있다. KS F 2782(숏크리트용 급결제) 규격에 의한 급결제의 품질시험방법은 단순히 급결제의 품질만을 확인하기 위해서는 많은 변수들이 존재하고 있다. 또한 현재까지 생산된 급결제 제품들은 실내시험에서는 거의 대부분 품질기준에 만족하지는 못하지만 현장에서 급결제가 숏크리트에 혼합되어 슈팅된 후의 품질은 상당히 만족하는 수준의 제품들이 다수이다. 즉 실내 시험을 통해 도출한 결과를 바탕으로 현장에 적합여부를 판단하기 위해서는 실내 시험과 실제 타설 시의 품질의 연관성을 확인하고 그에 맞는 시험방법을 찾아야 한다고 본다. 따라서 본 연구는 급결제와 숏크리트의 재료의 조건을 다양하게 하여 길모어침에 의한 시험결과와 압축강도를 비교하여 KS F 2782(숏크리트용 급결제) 규격은 급결제의 품질을 확인하기 위한방법으로서 적합성에 대하여 분석하고자 한다. 그 결과로서 KS F 2782규격의 일부만 수정을 한다고 해서 해결될 수 있는 문제점은 아니며 전반적으로 처음부터 철저하게 검토를 하여 국내 현실에 적합하고 실내 시험의 균일성이 보장되면서 현장에 적용 시 충분한 연관성이 있는 보완책이 마련되어야 한다.
