이 연구는 현재의 온도 데이터를 사용하여 각 지역의 최저 최고 온도를 설정하여 국내 교량 설계시 이를 적용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 확룰적 방법에 의해 온도 하중을 제안하는데 그 목적을 두었다.

Since these services are very important to minimize situations where the bridge disaster casualties. Through RFID, RTLS and smartphones, IT technology and sensor fusion, etc. Build bridges to the entire inspection time and unattended automated disaster detection system minimizes the time to invest in bridge inspection and efficiency is to be maximized.

In case heavy loads exceeding current design load passes the bridge, pre-structural analysis that reflects the axle load and the distance between Axles are being performed. Then, Measures regarding passing heavy loads are established based on the result of pre-structural analysis. However, when requirements of serviceability of bridge have not met or failure to obtain structural design report or shop drawing due to lack of maintenance occurs, section modulus should be reasonably estimated. Especially, in case of Pre-stressed Concrete Girder Bridge, if detailed information on tendon is inadequate, imposing vehicle weight restriction should be considered thoughtfully. The purpose of this study is to establish rational approach about passing heavy loads targeting PSC Girder Bridge that has failed to secure the details of cross section. In order to do it, tendon's profile was estimated and its estimated result was verified through pre-monitoring. Furthermore, by conducting a nonlinear analysis, the reliability of the analysis was determined in simulating the stiffness of a member and based on proven section modulus; the behavior of a special cargo (U-EA101) that weighs 5,136.15kN was reasonably predicted

A filming technique using Side Scan SONAR should be varied upon condition in order to obtain high-resolution data. Because the theoretical measurement scope is different from the actual measurement scope. It is possible to obtain the accurate data only after adjusting the water depth, distance from a structure and emission angle. Via the multiple regression analysis of data accumulated through field experiments and relations of 3 variables, and equation was devised.

In this paper, four damage detection techniques based on dynamic characteristics were utilized and compared to identify damage in a Steel Catenary Riser(SCR). Twelve damage scenarios were simulated by using a numerical model of SCR. The performance on damage detection for each technique was showed and the applicability was discussed.

In this study, it is aim to introduce assessment methods for performing precision check-up and precision safety inspection of the coastal structures(breakwaters).

This study aims to introduce siteukbeop drainage pumping stations as part of condition assessment techniques detailed guidelines established for drainage pumping stations being incorporated into the new facility as amended.

Asphalt material is visco-elastic material, which is sensitive to temperature and such phenomenon can result in affect to super-structure of concrete trackbed systems under various temperature loads. Consequently, the key objective of this research is to evaluate the performance related to stress changes of wide sleepers on asphalt-concrete trackbed systems corresponding to temperature changes. The range of temperature to represent the season is 60℃∼-10℃ and the numerical analysis was conducted in ABAQUS

Overloaded vehicles can cause damage to structures like bridges and road pavement, which amy subsequently cause serious accidents due to the breakage. The smart bearings suggested to control overloaded vehicles can be used to obtain various information about the crossing vehicles. This paper intends to check the possibility to measure traffic loads using smart bearings.

Recently, Korea Bridge Design Code(limit state design method) was introduced in 2012.However, Korea Infrastructure’s Safety Inspection Guideline are still following the bridge safety assessment. The assessment methods are classified according to material and bridge superstructure. Steel box girder bridge safety assessment was carried out by the A.S.D. In this study, introduce of steel box girder bridge safety assessment in accordance with the standards change.

The damage cases by debris flow and each investigation techniques used by the institutes associated with debris flow were analysed. It was concluded that considering urban debris flow characteristics and the purpose of investigation is essential to establish reasonable debris-flow damage investigation technique.

The cut slope distributed in domestic, which have single horizontal extension over 200m and 50m of vertical height are classified into 2nd class facility by <Special Act On The Safety Management Of Structures>. Collapse of these cut slope occurs by thaw, rainfall, soil characteristics. Recently, frequency of small size cut slope collapse is increasing. Accordingly, central government partially revised <Special Act On The Safety Management Of Structures> with the contents of expansion of 2nd class facility's scope and standard and it is expected to be an effective maintenance and management measures of cut slope. Therefore, this study analyzed distribution type and characteristics of the national highway cut slope within the scope of relevant laws and regulations based on the status data of 2nd class facility (cut slope) to examine the maintenance status.

In this study, hydrological safety vulnerability assessment on dam facilities was estimated using dams' hydrological safety evaluation result and in-depth inspection assessment score and grade. Multi Criteria Decision Making was used for vulnerability ranking decision on dams', and assessment scores and weights of hydrological safety evaluation were applied as payoff matrix and weight coefficient. It can be available for calculating dam’s vulnerability ranking considered dams' hydrological safety.

Recently, because people are taking a great interest in the water supply system and the related facilities are getting larger, the surge suppression is very important problem. The waterhammer occurs when the pumps are started or stoped for operation or tripped due to the power failure. As the waterhammer problems as a result of the pump power failure were very serious, these situations were carefully investigated. Accordingly, we carried out both numerical simulations to confirm the safety fot the intergrated operating of 1st stage and 2nd stage Juam intake pumping station in which had the in-line pumps. In this paper, it was reviewed that the water supply system has the reliability on the pressure surge, in case the air chambers were installed at both the inlet and the oulet of the in-line pumping station. we are sure that Juam intake pumping station in which have the air chambers is safe for the waterhammer.

During the last two decades, fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) reinforcing bars for concrete structure has been extensively investigated and a number of FRP bars are commercially available. However, major shortcomings of the existing FRP bars are its high initial cost and low elastic modulus compared to conventional steel bars. Because of these reasons, KICT in Korea have developed the FRP Hybrid Bar which have the concept of material hybridization for concrete structures, especially for marine and waterfront concrete structures. In this study, for the discussing the applicability of FRP Hybrid Bar to real concrete structures, life cycle cost analysis were performed on small bridge and discussed considering various kinds of maintenance cases.
