이 연구는 이승우 소설 ｢방｣에 나타나는 ‘내적 욕망과 자기발견’으로의 치매 모티프를 분석했다. 이를 확인하기 위해 정의의 관점에서 인물의 죄의식 형성 동기를 살피고, 치매 모티프가 인물이 내적 욕망을 표출하 도록 이끄는 과정을 감정 활성화와 심리적 각성 정도와 연결해 분석했 다. 그러나 이렇게 드러난 내적 욕망은 표면적인 것이며, 인물이 마지막 순간에서야 마주하게 되는 근원적 욕망은 타자에게 자신을 비추는 자기 성찰이 이뤄진 후에야 발견됨을 확인했다. 본 연구의 결과는 한국소설에 서 질병이 알레고리로 다뤄지던 것과 달리 이승우 소설에서 치매가 새로 운 서사적 모티프로 나타나고 있음을 보여줬다. 치매가 상황을 발생시키 는 소재 차원에 머무르는 것이 아니라, 인물의 내면을 드러내고 제3자를 통한 서사적 성취로까지 이어지고 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

본 연구는 2009년작 영화 백야행에 삽입된 오리지널 사운드 트랙 중 작곡가 석승희 가 작곡한 라이트모티프(Leitmotiv) 두 곡 <카페로로>와 <요한>을 작곡가의 인터뷰를 통해 분석하고 영화에서 음악의 활용을 조사하였다. 이 두 곡은 피아노 독주곡의 형태로 작곡되었으며, 작곡가는 악기가 가진 고유의 음색이 등장인물의 감정 표현에 적합하고 작곡가가 의도한 주제 선율을 가장 잘 전달할 수 있다고 설명하였다. 영화음악 제작 시 일반적으로 작곡가는 음악의 강렬한 인상을 남기기 위해서 다채로운 사운드를 만들기에 용이한 대규모의 악기 편성이나 음량이 다소 큰 악기 사용을 선호한다. 하지만 <카페로 로>와 <요한>은 다양한 악기 편성을 배제하고 피아노 독주곡으로 만들어졌으며, 이렇게 흔하지 않은 악기 편성과 작곡 기법은 개별 연구가 필요하였다. 연구방법으로 작곡가가 제공한 악보를 토대로 <카페로로>와 <요한>의 조성, 박자, 리듬, 화성, 패턴을 분석하 였으며, 작곡가를 인터뷰한 내용을 토대로 이 영화에서 그의 음악이 영화 속에서 표현하 는 바를 연구하였다. 이를 통해 영화음악 제작에 다양한 기법이 활용될 수 있음을 제시 하고, 이러한 예시가 앞으로의 한국 영화음악 작곡 양식의 발전에 도움이 되는 데에 목 적이 있었다. 그 결과로‘요한’의 라이트모티프의 주요 특징은 반복되는 주제선율과 음형이며, 이는 대사의 유무에 따라 변형되어 발전되거나 원래의 형태로 머물러 있었다 는 것을 알게 되었다. 이는 음악이 배우의 대사가 있는 장면에서 영화의 흐름을 방해하지 않고 대사를 돋보이게 하는 효과를 주었고 영화 속에서 인물의 감정을 보조해주고 관객들이 영화에 몰입하고 이해하도록 도와주는 의미가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구는 영화의 오리지널 사운드 트랙의 악보 부재로 영화 전체의 음악을 연구하지 못하 는 한계점을 가지고 있었으나 이 영화의 모든 곡이 악보화 되어 후속 연구가 이루어진다 면 한국 영화음악 작곡 양식의 파악과 작곡의 실제에 보탬이 된다는 제언을 하였다.

이 논문은 자연의 질서 회복이 인간을 지속 가능토록 한다는 생각에서 비롯되었다. 필자가 새로이 발견한 다양한 문학적 가치와 종교적 모티프를 지닌 생태 문학 작품들을 조명해 보았다. 자연에 대한 새로운 관점을 지니고 인간 대 비인간의 심리적이고 실재적인 장벽을 없애기 위해서 우리는 순진무구한 어린이의 눈을 지닐 필요가 있다. 융은 인간의 원형적 ‘자기’의 모습을 ‘식물 모티프’로 설명하였다. 에덴동산의 신화와 어머니 대지의 이미지는 ‘자기’ 실현의 과정에 영향을 미칠 수 있다. 자연의 이미저리와 연관된 필자의 분석은 심각한 상황과 병치하고 있는 시기에 낭만적이거나 반동적인 것은 아니다, 이 연구는 생태 문학을 재발견하고 그것의 실제적인 비전을 재해석함으로써 우리 지구의 파괴를 극복하고자 하는 필자의 의지를 표현한 것이다. 생태 문학의 교훈은 우리들의 생존 의지와 임박한 실존적 위기를 해결하고자 하는 우리의 의지를 북돋울 수 있을 것이다

한국 현대문학사에서 이상은 초현실주의적 작품 경향을 보이는 난해한 작가이다. 그의 대표작 <날 개>의 ‘나’는 ‘아내’에게 생계를 의존하면서도 아내의 직업과 화폐에 기반한 자본주의 경제체제에 대 해 모른 채 살아간다. 아내의 내객이 아내에게 돈을 주고 가는 행위를 궁금해하던 ‘나’는 아내의 외 출을 틈타 경성의 밤거리를 돌아다닌다. 돈을 하나도 쓰지 않고 아내에게 주면서 손님들이 아내에게 돈을 주고 가는 쾌감을 깨닫기도 한다. 이 글에서는 다섯 차례에 걸친 ‘나’의 외출과 귀가가 지니는 의미를 밝히고자 하였다. ‘나’는 외출을 거듭할수록 자본주의가 진행된 도시의 문명과 화폐 경제 체제에 대해 이해할 뿐 아니라 아내의 직업 이 무엇인지 알아가게 된다. ‘나’는 경제활동을 하지 않고 아내 방의 윗방에 기거하지만 이내 자본주 의 체제의 성의 상품화 문제를 인식한다는 점에서 전근대의 지식인이라 할 수 있다. <날개>는 ‘나’의 외출과 귀가 모티프의 반복을 통해 식민지 체제와 함께 이식된 서구 자본주의 경제체제를 깨닫지만 적응하지 못하고 좌절하는 지식인의 모습을 보여준다.

바그너 후기의 오페라에서 볼 수 있는 작곡기법인 라이트모티프는 현대 영화음악에도 직접적 으로 이어져 관객들이 영화에 몰입하고 이해할 수 있도록 도와주는 기능을 한다. 본 논문에서는 단편애니메이션「포일루스」에 극중 인물과 테마를 구성하는 요소로 영화 「킹콩」과「컨택 트」에서 나타나는 라이트모티프기법의 특징을 적용한다. 연구 결과 선율을 활용한 라이트모티 프는 다양한 비화성음과 그 변형을 통해 테마를 제작할 수 있고, 음향효과에 의해 나타나는 라이 트모티프는 주파수 스펙트럼의 분석을 통해 특징이 되는 배음구조와 주파수대역을 분석하여 영 상에 적합한 테마로 사운드 디자인할 수 있다. 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 다양한 영화나 영상에 인물과 배경을 표현하는 라이트모티프기법의 제작방식에 대한 후속 연구가 추후 진행된다면, 다 양한 라이트모티프 기법 적용의 기초연구로써 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

The ideologic novel, Gwang-Jang, utilizes many mythical motifs such as the “possession” of Lee Myung Jun and the “Sea-gull.” The ‘possession’ is related with the suppressive modern civilization. The “possession” means the flood of “the Semiotic” followed by the weakened restriction of “the Symbolic.” The most important re-writing of Gwang-Jang is the transition of beloved-sea gull to daughter-sea gull. Through this adaptation, the journey of Myung-jun Lee that abandon the real world and leave beyond the world is interpreted as a pursue for the essence of life. The sea gull, “Heaven Bird” breaks the unification of “the Symbolic.” Before 1976, the Gwang-Jang was the text showing the total failure of paternal principle based on “Exchange Relation.” However, After adaptation in 1976, the meaning of the text has changed to the vitality of maternal principle based on “Donation Relation.”

Eco-theology was developed by the influence of the secular ecology. The Christian eco-theology was started in earnest by Lynn White, who has developed a modernism-discourse based on Christian tradition. Criticizing her discourse, Thomas Berry has led the religious-ecumenical discourse of eco-theology. In the 21st century, the Christian eco-theology has expanded into the ecological-political theology. One of the leading theologians of ecological-political theology is a Jürgen Moltmann. Moltmann has emphasized the Sabbath motif in relation to the discourse of eco-theology. Moltmann’s ideas for the eco-theological Sabbath are summarized in three ways. Firstly, the Sabbath is the day when the wounded ecosystem is healed, because it is the rest day when the creative work was finished. Secondly, the Sabbath is the day of enjoying the blessing of being while experiencing the presence of eternity. Thirdly, the Sabbath is the day of hope when we can recognize the value of being of all things. Moltmann suggests a theological alternative view what can overcome the ecological crisis. The idea of Moltmann was criticized by some radical ecologists and some Sabbath theologians.

Dong-li Kim’s works are covered with Korean religion and conformism of destiny. This paper adopted his short stories as a motif about Jesus Christ . In “Mary’s pregnancy,” the pregnancy of the Virgin Mary is described as the mysterious super natural phenomenon. Also in “A Carpenter Joseph,” Dong-li Kim stares Jesus as Joseph’s realistic views. These two stories show the men who accept destiny. In “The Cross of Saban,” Saban proposes that he can save the Jews by defeating Rome’s army. But Jesus claims that they can be blessed by pursuing peace on heaven, not on the land. In this work, he thinks Jesus is a great shaman lives in Israel. Also in “The Resurrection,” he can’t comprehend resurrection as a flash death, that is real body. In “The Angel” shows the notion of defending humanity, he names it new humanism. As a result, the writer does not recognize the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but he recasts the Bible story through the Spiritual Science and Shamanism. The purpose of this study is to find an expression method for Korean fashion design that can have competitiveness in the global fashion market. For this, fashion specialists at home and abroad were interviewed, focusing on their opinions on the Korean motifs outlined in existing literature studies. First, aesthetic sense and expression characteristics that have appeared in existing studies on Korean art, Korean traditional costume, and Korean fashion were explored. As a result, they were categorized into: Modesty/plainness, freewheelingness, religion/custom, and humor/joke. During this process, Korean design motifs were extracted based on the aesthetic characteristic and expression method of aesthetic sense. According to the opinions on Korean design motifs and Korean fashion design works drawn from the interviews with fashion specialists at home and abroad, Changhomun was the favorite design motif to be utilized in Korean fashion design. The Korean specialists thought that visual design motifs were important, while the overseas specialists had more interest in abstract design motifs, which embody the background and story behind the motif. Regarding the fashion design associated with the Korean design motif, all specialists at home and abroad favored the design using ceramics and wrapping cloth. Regarding the choice of fashion image, Korean specialists chose the design utilizing Hangeul as the most Korean, while the foreign specialists chose designs reflecting the design motifs of Hangeul and Hanbok for women. The Korean specialists chose relatively more Korean images, while the foreign specialists chose more eastern images or other images than Korean images.

이 연구의 목적은 이승우 소설에 지속적으로 나타나는 탈향 모티프의 양상과 그 내면에 자리한 죄의식의 상관성을 살펴보는 것에 있다. 한국 문단의 중견작 가로 그 위상을 굳건히 하고 있는 이승우는 비교적 초기부터 고향을 서사의 중 심에 둔 창작을 이어오고 있다. 다만 그의 소설에 표상된 고향이 그리움의 대상 이라든가, 회귀의 대상으로 그려지지 않았다는 점에서 특이성을 지닌다. 오히려 고향으로부터 의도적으로 벗어나려는 탈주의 본능, 더 나아가 고향 자체를 부정 하려는 의도적이며 과장된 행위의 표출이 두드러진다는 점에서 여타의 작가들 과 구별된다. 아울러 이토록 고향을 불편하게 인식하면서도 긴 작가 생활 내내 고향에 대해 이야기하기를 멈추지 않고 있다는 점도 관심의 대상이다. 이런 까 닭에 이승우의 문학에 있어서 고향이 갖는 의미를 규명하는 일은 그의 소설을 이해하는 매우 중요한 출발점이 될 것이다. 또한 이승우 소설에서 문제 삼고 있 는 탈향의 이면에는 주인공 개개인의 잠재된 죄의식이 중요하다. 이승우 문학의 원형질이라 해도 무방한 죄의식, 혹은 자책감이 탈향 모티프를 표상하고 있는 그의 작품들에 어떻게 기능하고 있는지를, 그리고 이러한 죄의식이 그의 기독교적 세계관과는 어떻게 연관되어 있는지를 살펴보는 것은 중요하다.

본 연구는 모티프이론을 활용한 창작수업이 무용영재들에게 어떠한 영향을 주었는지 탐색한다. 모티프이론은 무용기록 시스템중 하나로 자세한 움직임의 묘사 없이 움직이는 사람의 의도를 간 단한 마인드 맵 형태로 보여준다. 연구자는 움직임의 개념을 지닌 모티프이론과 이를 안무의 형 식(ABA, AA’ BB’ CC’)에 도입하여 수업참여자들에게 제공했다. 연구수업은 2011년 충청남도에 위 치한 A예술영재교육원 무용영재반에 등록된 초등 여학생 10명을 대상으로 6차시 수업(1-5차시 각 3시간, 6차시(집중수업) 6시간, 총 21시간)으로 진행되었다. 또한 연구자는 수업시간에 산출된 무 보, 저널, 설문지, 그리고 교사 관찰일지 등을 수집 및 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 모티프 창 작수업은 다양한 활동들을 통해 무용영재들의 창작에 대한 흥미를 자극할 수 있었고 이는 창의성 을 향상을 위한 중요한 시발점이 되었음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 무용영재들의 저널과 설문지를 분석해 본 결과 자기평가(self-assessment) 측면에서 창의성과 감수성, 그리고 사회성 등 다양한 영 역에서 긍정적인 변화를 가져왔음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 영재교육 측면에서 모티프 수업은 교사 에게 무용영재의 다양한 측면들 표현력 및 창작능력, 자기동기, 끈기, 사회성, 리더쉽 등을 평가 할 수 있는 기회를 제공하였다. 마지막으로 모티프이론은 무용영재들에게 창의적인 움직임개발의 가능성을 열어주고 창작에 대한 자신감을 심어 줄 수 있다는 점에서 무용영재교육과 공교육 현장 에서도 효과적인 교육방법론이 될 수 있음을 제언하고 있다.

This paper examines animal motifs related to Cuchulain in Ulster Cycle, especially Lady Gregory’s Cuchulain of Muirthemne and Celtic culture. In the preface of the text Yeats said that she will have given Ireland its Mabinogion, its Morte d’Arthur, its Nibelungenlied. The Ulster sagas are documents surviving from a Celtic culture unaffected by the Latin civilization of the rest of Europe. Set a century before the time of Christ, the Ulster stories posit an older world than any known in other European vernaculars. The narrative materials were transcribed as early as 8th century continued to be part of living literature until 18th. Esteem for the Ulster Cycle passed into English during the 19th century, when nationalists searched ancient literature for heroes to replace those imposed on Irish children by English-run schools. During the generation of Lady Gregory, William Butler Yeats and John Millington Synge the Red Branch Cycle fostered widespread adaptation in English. Lady Gregory expected to let Irish students know that the Cuchulain stories were put into permanent literary form at about the same date as Beowulf, some 100 to 250 years before the Scandinavian mythology, at least 200 years before the oldest Charlemagne romance, and probably 300 years before the earliest draft of Nibelungenlied. In Cuchulain of Muirthemne there are twenty stories in English. Lady Grogery have exchanged for the grotesque accounts of Cuchulain’s distortion into the appearance of a god. In the Cuchulain’s stories still remains the ancient heart of Ireland and Celtic culture. In the Celtic supernatural world animals can talk, move about like humans, jest, warn and shapeshift. The Celts not only relied on animals for their survival but they respect them, learned them, and honoured them. The legendary Irish warrior and solar hero, Cuchulain, son of the god Lugh, exhibited the ‘hero light,’ a flaming aura, around his head when he entered the state of battle frenzy. As a lineage of Angus the hero fell in love with a swan goddess Fand. And was unsuccessfully wooed by the Morrigan in her raven aspect. Cuchulain, whose name means “Culan’s Hound,” was a Gaelic hero likened in his exploits to both the Greek Hercules and Achilles. He is said to have been able to perform a ‘salmon’s leap.’ In the War for the Bull of Cuailgne the hero single- handedly defends Ulster against the depredations of Connacht, as led by Medb and Ailill. The young Cuchulain, a superhuman, semi-divine hero has two chariot- horses, the Black of Saingliu and the Grey of Macha. The clairvoyante Grey cries tears of blood at the foreknowledge of his death. when the Ulster hero Cuchulain is finally killed, he has such a fearsome reputation that it is not until one of the raven-goddesses alights on his shoulder that his enemies believe he is dead and dare to approach and behead him. 본 연구에서는 모티프(Motif), ANCI-C, Fortran 언어를 사용하여 그래픽 입출력과 대화식 입력이 가능하며, 최적설계 수행에 필요한 모든 작업을 같이 병행할 수 있는 최적설계 통합환경을 개발하였다. 최적설계 통합환경은 전처리기(preprocessor), 최적설계부, 후처리기(postprocessor)로 구성하였다. 전처리기에서는 유한요소모형의 구성에 필요한 정보를 입력한 후 사용자가 입력한 정보를 즉시 확인할 수 있도록 하였다. 최적설계부에서는 전처리기에서 입력한 유한요소 정보를 바탕으로 최적설계 매개변수를 정의하고, 해를 구하는 과정으로 구성하였다. 후처리기에서는 구조물의 변형, 응력, 목적함수의 변화 등의 해석 결과를 가시화 함으로써 결과에 대한 비교.검토를 용이하게 하였다.

본 연구는 스토리 저작 지원 소프트웨어인 <스토리헬퍼>에서 제시된 모티프 분류 체계를 중 심으로, 카드를 이용한 스토리텔링 보드 게임의 모델을 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 스토리텔링 보드 게임의 유형을 네 가지로 분류하고 개발 목표를 설정했다. 이후 모티프 분류 체계에 따라 205개의 모티프 카드를 구성한 뒤 기본형 모드와 확장형 모드의 개발 모델을 제시했다. 해당 모델을 기반으로 테스트 플레이를 진행한 결과, 창의적이면서도 개연성있는 스토리 창작이 가 능한 점과 확장형 모드를 통해 게임의 긴장과 불확실성을 극대화할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 향 후 포커스 그룹 테스트를 통해 게임성을 검증하고, 모델을 정교화하고자 한다.
