The number of North Korean defectors has increased from the 1990s. This phenomena has sought some significance as the reunification of the Koreas is being considered. It can shed insight on problems of socio-psychological adaptation. The dynamic process of the defectors' adaptation to the South Korean society may model a process of adaptation needed on a wider scale of and when reunification of Korea is achieved. North Korean defectors in South Korea are experiencing various difficulties in the capitalist society of South Korea including different value, identity problem, difficulties of social life, economic unrest, and psychological and emotional uneasiness. In this study, their problems and difficulties are analyzed for developing adaptation process. The process of adaptation for defectors can be divided into four stages: pre-awareness, awareness, adaptation and settlement. Particularly, mental and psychological difficulties are stumbling blocks to their adaptation. They need education for social adaptation and counseling programs. In fact, many South Koreans do not understand the North Korean defectors' difficulties in their process of adaptation. South Korean people need to accept North Korean defectors as their brothers and sisters, as persons of the same nation. Reunification is not restoration of the original state before the division. True reunification is to restore a broken relationship between the North and South.

본 조사에서는 안질환이 없는 남녀 130명(남자 63명， 여자 67 명)을 대상으로 누진 렌즈 처방이 가능한 40세 이상의 환자를 굴절이상도와 근용 가입도를 측정하여 연령 별 · 직업별 누진굴절력 렌즈 안경의 착용 적응도를 조사하였다. 조사대상자들의 굴절 상태 분포는 정시자 35 명 (26.9%) ， 근시자 28명 (21.5%) ， 원시자 33 명 (25.4%)， 혼합난시 30명 (23.1%), 기 타 4 명 (3 .1%)으로 나타났으며 , 근용 가입 도의 분포를 보면 +1.00D 미 만이 4명 (3.1%), +1.00-+ 1.50D는 44병 (33.8%), +1.75-+2.25D가 42명 (32.3%), +2.50- +3.00D는 40 명 (30.8%) 으로 조사되 었다. 누진 렌즈를 처 방받은 환자들의 착용 적 응도 조사결과는 10 일 미 만이 32 명 (24.6%), 10-20 일 미만이 52 명 (40.0%) ， 20-30 일 미만이 23 명(17.7%) ， 30-40 일 미만이 15명 (11.5%) 그리 고 적 응실 패 는 8명 (6.2%)으로 나타났다. 직 업 별 착용 적 응도는 20 일 미 만까지 목사 100.0%, 교육직 78.6%, 예술가 85.7%, 사무직 64.6%, 주부 48.5%로 조사 되었으며 적응실패자도 6.2%로 나타났다

본 연구는 21세기 기후변화에 대한 적응전략을 해수면 상승 관점에서 검토하였다. 해수면 상승에 취약한 것으로 알려진 연안역에 대한 적응책을 고려하는 경우 적응이 필요한 장소, 적응방법, 적응시기에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 연안역에 대한 적응 능력 평가는 영향 및 적응 잠재력에 대한 이해를 필요로 한다. 해수면 상승에 대한 적응방법에는 관리적 이주, 순응, 방어가 있으며, 이들의 적용에는 취약지대 토지이용 상황, 취약성 정도, 경제성 분석 등의 검토를 통한 대응 방안의 조합이 요구된다. 적응시기에 대하여는 예측적 적응과 반응적 적응으로 구분할 수가 있으며, 이들을 함께 고려하는 것이 효과적이다. 기후변화 대응은 과학적 불확실성 하에서 이루어지는 과정으로 대응정책 결정은 정보와 인식 구축, 계획 및 정책 구상, 실행, 모니터링 및 평가의 단계로 이루어져야 한다.

본 연구에서는 운전자의 피로감을 경감시킬 수 있는 자동차용 향 분사 시스템을 개발하였다. 또한 향 분사시스템의 운전자 적응 특성을 분석하였다. 향 분사 시스템은 휘발된 향을 산소 (공기)와 혼합시켜 외부로 분사하는 방식을 이용하였다. 8051 마이크로프로세서를 이용하여 2-Port Solenoid Valve의 on/off 시간을 변경 가능하도록 하였고 이를 통해 향 분사량을 제어할 수 있도록 하였다. 평균나이 22±2세인 남녀 대학생 20명을 대상으로 네 가지 천연 향 (쟈스민 30%, 쟈스민 50%, 페파민트 30%, 페파민트 50%)을 사용하여 향의 적응화가 발생하는 시간과 향에 대한 적응화가 제거되는 시간을 결정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과 쟈스민 30% 향의 적응화 발생시간은 1분 28초, 적응화 제거시간은 3분 15초, 쟈스민 50% 향의 적응화 발생시간은 2분 41초, 적응화 제거시간은 4분 3초, 페파민트 30% 향의 적응화 발생시간은 1분 47초, 적응화 제거시간은 2분 59초, 페파민트 50% 향의 적응화 발생시간은 1분 58초, 적응화 제거시간은 4분 11초였다.

The purposes of this research were to support understanding for the structure and content of Occupational Adaptation, to clarify the role of occupational therapist and the main intervention method on this model, to discuss the correlation between holistic thinking and occupational adaptation. To achieve above goals, the literatures on occupational adaptation which was introduced by Schkade and Schultz were investigated. Occupational adaptation is the description for adaptation processing that exists to everybody. Such processing helps the human adapt to occupational challenges, to perform various roles and activities, and to acquire competence. Occupational adaptation is not a collection of technique but a way of thinking about intervention in the individual’s internal adaptation process. The holistic approach, which is the background of occupational therapy, is the important thinking of occupational adaptation. In conclusion, Occupational adaptation is a method to apply the holistic thought to practice contexts. Further study on occupational adaptation is recommended to explore the appropriate methods that are practical for the occupational therapy atmosphere in Korea.

In this paper, we developed a working adaptation evaluation system using finger force measurement which interact between material and biological system. The system consists of a finger force transducer, a signal conditioner, an A/D converter, a computer, and a software system for data processing. The finger force transducer is made by a load cell and a special mechanism. The data processing software controls the A/D converter, data monitoring, and data analysis for group classification. The developed system were tested by 4 different materials in left hand and the finger forte transducer in the other hand's thumb and index finger with 16 persons. As the results of experiments, the developed system could measure the finger force quantitatively and classify the measured values into four groups.

Together with this, before the legislation of product liability system in Korea, the sense and level of company and consumer about product safety are rapidly changing, In times like the present, ensuring more systematic product safety and consumer safety, and the buildup need of competitive power in accordance with product liability prevention of company grows raising. Therefore, this study presents the most effectively manageable ways of product liability the side of safety management of consumers and companies through the ensuring ways and activity models of product safety and certification system in company.

제품 적응화 전략은 수출시장에서 제품을 현지 적응화하는 측면에서 대단히 중요하다. 이것이 성공하기 위해서는 현지에 맞도록 수정된 제품이 그에 따른 보다 높은 비용을 상쇄하고 수익을 확보할 수 있도록 고객에게 충분히 가치를 부여해야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 제품적응화 과정의 분석틀을 개발하여 이를 한미양국의 수출기업 임직원들에게 설문을 통하여 조사하였다. 본고에서는 양국 기업의 두 표본 집단에 대하여 제품적응화와 수출시장성과 사이의 실증적인 연결고리가 일관성이 있는지를 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors of food adaptation and the changes of food habit on Koreans residing in America. The subject was 89 Koreans residing in Knoxville, TN. The survey was undertaken from October to December of 1995. Demographic characteristics, food behavior, composite adaptation score(CAS), composition of Korean and American foods in 1 day, and frequence and preference changes of foods was determined. The results were summarized as fellows : The mean CAS for all subjects was 17.6 with individual scores ranging from 9 to 23. The CAS were significantly different in residing age, American friends, English speaking ability, eat with Koreans, American food experience before, American food experience now, breakfast type in weekday, breakfast type in weekday, and self-food habits change at p<0.05. No significant differences in CAS could be attributed to sex, marital status, children, and job. Food consumption patterns for breakfast was Korean style 58%, American style 39.3%. For lunch both style was almost same, and for supper Korean style was 78.2%. The intake of food most frequent was rice, and then Kimchee. The preference of Korean foods was increased, though the frequence was decreased. The preference and frequence of American foods were increased respectively.

명상태와 암상태에서 벼멸구의 겹눈의 미세구조가 변화하는 것을 관찰하였다. 벼멸구의 겹눈을 암조건 혹은 광조건 하에서 최고 72시간 까지 유지하였을 경우에 비슷한 수준에서 겹눈을 절단하여 해부 현미경으로 관찰한 결고, 구조적인 면에서 서로 다른 모양을 관찰하였다. 한편, 전자현미경을 이용하여 암조건과 광조건 하에서의 겹눈의 미세구조를 비교한 결과, 단애층(palisade layer)의 넓이는 광조건하에서 암조건에서 보다 더 좁은 것을 알 수 있었다. 색소체는 암적응 상태의 눈에서는 단애층 주위에 원을 형성하고 있었지만, 감간채 주위에 밀집되어 있지는 않았다. 암적용과 광적용 상태의 눈에 있는 망막세포 내에서의 미세융모 지름은 차이가 없었으며, 수정체와 감간체의 접합 부위에 있는 색소체의 이동은 감간체의 위부분에 있은 수정체의 끝부분에서 변화가 있음을 관찰 할 수 있었다.
