        The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of some practical teaching and learning methods using multimedia literacy in Japanese language education. As components of multimedia literacy, SNS, YouTube clips, the recording function of mobile phones, and reading tasks were given to 29 university students in an introductory level Japanese language class. At the end of the semester, the students were asked to participate in a survey in which they evaluated whether the teaching and learning methods using multimedia literacy were helpful. The findings of the study were as follows: First, problem-solving skills, and reading and speaking skills were enhanced by using a team-based learning. Second, the class using SNS was very useful for enhancing the language skills due to the convenient presentation of learning materials, the submission and the review of assignments, and the immediate feedback. Third, Korean composition sentences and reading tasks made a great contribution to practicing pronunciation and enhancing conversation skills. Fourth, voice files and YouTube clips provided for absent students could make up for the contents they missed in class. On the basis of this study, a variety of teaching and learning methods using multimedia literacy are expected to be designed and discussed.

        2018년과 2019년 봄철에 전남 광양의 일부 자두(Prunus salicina Lindl.) 과수원에서 어린 과실을 낙과시켜 심각한 피해를 일으키는 새로운 해충을 채집하여 사육한 후 우화한 성충을 분류동정한 결과, 국내미기록종인 자두수염잎벌(신칭; Monocellicampa pruni Wei)로 확인되어 보고한다. 또한 이 해충의 피해 상황과 분류학적 특징을 기재함과 동시에 수컷생식기의 특징을 도해하여 제시하였다.

        This study examined the status of food specialties in Korea during the Japanese colonial period through『Specialities of Joseon (朝鮮の特産)』. The book recorded a total of 164 areas and 317 specialties, focusing on five railway lines and branch lines on the Gyeongbu, Honam, Gyeongui, Gyeongwon, and Hamgyeong. Among the specialities, 211 species were included, excluding overlapping ones. The food specialties accounted for 100 kinds in 159 regions or 47.4 percent of the specialties. There were 47 food specialties in 47 areas of the Gyeongbu Line, 21 food specialties in 20 areas of the Honam Line, 32 food specialties in 40 areas of the Gyeongui Line, 26 food specialties in 15 areas of the Gyeongwon Line, and 33 food specialties in 42 areas of the Hamgyeong Line. Among the specialties, the amount of fish and their workpiece was overwhelmingly the largest. Next came processed goods of fruits, grains, and vegetables. In modern factories, corn, tomatoes, blueberries, and sardines were made of processed goods. Factories have been constructed for glass noodles, sugar, and soju. Specialities and processed goods produced in each region were brought to Japan during the Japanese colonial period.

        본 연구는 한국사회에서 증가하고 있는 다문화가정 중 일본인 다문화가정의 자녀양육 이해 및 국제비교 연구의 일환으로 일본인의 자녀양육관을 연구하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 일본 오키나와지역에 소재한 유치원 2곳과 소학교 1곳의 학부모, 대학교 1곳과 공민관 1곳의 성인에게 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 일본인의 자녀에 대한 가치 인식에서 ‘자녀를 갖는 것은 인생에서 가치있는 일이다’란 인식이 4점 만점에 3.53점으로 가장 높게 나타났다. 자녀의 필요성은 ‘있는 것이 없는 것보다 낫다’가 62.2%로서 자녀의 필요성이 약함을 보여주었으며, 아들과 딸에 대한 기대에서 ‘성격 및 태도’에 대한 기대가 각각 가장 높았다. 둘째, 일본인의 자녀양육인식에서 자녀에 대한 정서적 지원은 ‘평생 동안 언제라도’가 56.4%로서 가장 높았고, 경제적 지원은 ‘대학졸업 까지’가 44.3%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 자녀가 영유아기 시기일 때 바람직한 경제활동상태에 대한 인식은 ‘아버지만 취업하고, 어머니는 집에서 자녀양육’이 56.2%로 가장 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 일본인의 자녀양육태도에서 자녀훈육태도는 ‘자녀가 올바른 행동을 했을 때 칭찬해 주기’가 4점 만점에 3.2점으로 가장 높게 나타나 긍정적인 훈육태도를 보였다. 좋은 부모의 조건 은 ‘자녀와의 의사소통’으로 나타났으며, 자녀양육의 어려움으로는 ‘자녀양육과 일의 병행’으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 일본인의 자녀양육관을 규명하여 한국인과 비교하였다는데 의의가 있다.

        Ganggyeong, a city which is located at riverside of Geum River, played a role to connect the inland cities and the coastal cities through the Geum river waterway. In Chosun dynasty, Ganggyeong was one of the three major markets in Korea, and at the same time, it was one of the two river docks in Korea. However, after the railway was installed in Korea, railroad was more important than waterway in transporting logistics and in 1911 Honam railroad and Ganggyeong railway station was installed. Thus it was necessary to reorganize urban structure of Ganggyeong city from the traditional river-dock city to modern railroad city. In addition, urban infrastructure to prevent flood damage was needed because Ganggyeong suffered from floods and water shortages every year. Therefore, between 1910s and 1930s large-scale social infrastructures including road, water and sewage system, river bank, floodgate was constructed not only to revitalize the declining city but also to prevent flood damage and water shortages that hinder urban development. The installation of urban infrastructure has enabled the urban expansion and development of Ganggyeong city, and it is still served as a basic urban structure.

        이 논문은 일제 강점기 조선의 유학자였던 海窓 宋基植(1878~1949)이 제작한 초학 한문교재『速修漢文訓蒙』에 대한 연구이다. 조선 유학의 대표적인 학자이자 조선의 유교개혁론을 부르짖었던 해창 송기식은 조선유교의 미래를 위해 서양교육에 맞설 만한 쉽고, 재미있고, 빠르게 배울 수 있는 새로운 한문교재를 개발하기에 이르렀다. 이것이 『速修漢文訓蒙』이란 교재이다. 이 교재는 일재의 감시 하에 조선의 곳곳에서 강의되기 시작했다. 이 교재는 일제강점기 아동들의 한자교육을 현실에 맞게 과학적이고 합리적으로 편찬한 교재이다. 이 책은 일제강점기 서구의 사상이 물밀 듯이 들어와 우리민족의 전통 유교문화를 붕괴시키면서 서구의 기독교사상이 확산되어 나가자 이에 대응하려는 다양한 유교적인 현실대응논리가 나타나고 있던 시기 서당의 아동들의 한문교육을 위해 만들어진 아동교육 교재이다. 이 책은 일반적으로 한자교육의 기본서로서 널리 알려진 千字文의 형식을 개혁하여 당시 생활에 맞게 재구성한 것이다. 이 책은 더 나아가 천자문, 동몽선습 등을 비롯하여 유교경전 및 근사록 등 신유학의 교재에서 가려 뽑아 내용을 새롭게 구성하여 새로운 현실에 맞는 한자어를 선정하여 익히고 이를 바탕으로 자연스럽게 한문으로 나아갈 수 있도록 학습단계를 설정하여 만든 우수한 교재이다. 이 책에는 서구의 사상에 맞서 성리학적 도통을 수호하고, 일제의 식민지에서 벗어나고자 하는 조선독립의 의지가 함의되어 있었다.

        The purpose of this study is to design a Japanese language class based on the analysis of college students’ assignments and their misuses of ‘can’ expressions in them during a Japanese conversation class. In the class, the assignments required the students to record their thoughts about conversation topics. For the assignments, the instructor tried to transcribe the students’ recordings, find their misuses of ‘can’ expressions and provide some corrective feedback for the misuses. Following the feedback, the students were asked to resubmit their recordings and then, the instructor examined their recordings again focusing on ‘can’ expressions. The findings from the students’ first recordings revealed that the students used some verbs that describe ‘possibility’ at first, and gradually they used more ‘surukotogadekiru(=can)’ expressions. Then, finally, the students tended to use both ‘possibility’ verbs and ‘surukotogadekiru(=can)’ expressions regardless of the students’ proficiency levels. However, by comparing to the students’ second recordings, the use of ‘possibility’ verbs increased while the use of ‘surukotogadekiru(=can)’ expressions decreased in the second recordings. Based on the findings, a class design that can be applicable to the Japanese language conversation classes was suggested.

        After opening Suwon railway station in 1905, a new road was constructed between Suwon station and Paldalmun(the South gate). It was the starting point to change urban structures of Suwon and shape the new city scape. In 1914, administrative districts of Suwon were reorganized. Suwon-myeon (township, a subdivision of Suwon-gun) was promoted to Suwon-eup(town) in 1931. Suwon-eup expanded its territory and changed the address system from ‘li(里)’ system to Japanese address system, ‘Jeong(町)’ in 1936. From 1920s, road system was changed and transformed Suwon’s urban structures. A straight road was built from Jongro intersection to Janganmun(the north gate) in 1928. Another straight road was constructed between Suwon station to Padamun in the early 1930s. Public office buildings used the Hwa Seong HaengGung(華城行宮) and some of building moved to new location with new buildings. Main buildings of most schools in Suwon were reconstructed since 1930s. Commercial buildings and stores were sprung up and had their own characteristics by region. Around Suwon station, there are more hotels and restaurants than other areas. Rearranging administrative areas, developing road system and new buildings transformed Suwon’s spatial structures. Constructing new roads formed a straight road passing through Suwon. After reorganizing administrative areas, this road turned to be the central axis of Suwon. Buildings in new style on the axis made the modern cityscape in Suwon.
