The studies on the logistics has been mainly centered on the logistics information system and logistics performance on the supply chain for the enterprise's profit making. For sustainable development, it's being required the construction of recycling-oriented system, and it's also necessary to construct the efficient system not only in forward but in reverse channel. In addition, it's required to construct information system for supporting reverse logistics smoothly. In this study of manufacturing enterprises, recognition on the environmental problems is set as the adaptation degree to the national environmental regulations and enterprise's concern to the environmental logistics, and it presents the direction through analyzing the effects of such environmental logistics recognition on reverse logistics information system and performance. In order to achieve these aims, it was performed through combining philological and positive studies.

There is a question, 'Which is beautiful, a flower or a star?'. Its answer is different from one person .to another. It is only a matter of what one is interested in. It is very difficult for most school pupils, who will have non-scientific jobs, to understand science courses taught currently in school, because each science (physics, chemistry, biology, and earth science) is independently taught from the other sciences. Therefore, their knowledge of sciences obtained during their school period does not significantly help their understanding of global environmental problems. I am proposing that several scientific stories should be prepared to connect all the related scientific phenomena in order to give those pupils ideas in understanding global environmental problems. I believe that astronomy is able to play an important role in this context.

Electromagnetic interference (EMI) is defined as the interaction phenomena of electromagnetic waves scattered from a large structure or complex terrain. In this study, the propagation of linear wave is modeled with ray theory, direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC), and some classical theories on flat plates. The wave physics of reflection, refraction, and diffraction are simulated for the investigation of front and back scattering of the one-dimensional plane wave from a tower with ray theory and DSMC, respectively. The effect of rotating disk idealized from the real wind-turbine blades is modeled with a simplified version of the classical electromagnetic theory as well as DSMC based on the ray theory.

This study was attempted to analyze sophomores' consciousness for environmental problems. In order to achieve this purpose, a method of questionnaire was administered to total 387 students selected from four universities in Busan. There were surveyed questions as follows, the conception of environmental problems, the condition of dwelling place and surrounding of home, the problems of environmental pollution, knowledge and concern for environmental problems, necessity of environmental education of school, and the environmental policy in Korea. Most students responded that the most serious environmental problem is water pollution. Most respondents have recognition the necessity of schooling for environmental education, whereas current-contents of environmental education are not enough to modify students' attitude and behavior.

Environmental problems caused by certain geologic conditions include pollution of soil by heavy metal, acidization of soils, acid mine drainage, ground-water pollution, and natural radioactivity, as well as geological hazards such as landslide and subsidence. The acid mine drainage contains large amount of heavy metals and, therefore, cause serious pollution onto the nearby drainage systems and soils. In spite of this prospective environmental danger, few studies have been done on the acid mine drainage derived from non-metallic ore deposits such as pyrophyllite(Napseok) deposits. The sulfide-bearing pyrophyllite ores, alteration zones, and mine tailings of pyrophyllite deposits produce acid mine drainage by the oxidation of weathering. Compared to the fresh host rocks, the ores and altered rocks of pyrophyllite deposits produce acidic solution which contain higher amount of heavy metals because of their lower buffering capacity to acid solution. The pHs of mine water and nearby stream water of pyrophyllite deposits are 2.1∼3.7, which are strongly acidic and much lower than that (6.2∼7.2) of upstream water and than that (6.8∼7.6) of the stream water derived from the non-mineralized area. This study reveals that this acid mine drainage can affect the downstream area which is 8km far from the pyrophyllite deposits, even though the drainage is diluted with abundant non-contaminated river water. This suggests that not only acid mine drainage but also the sulfide-bearing sediments originated from the pyrophyllite deposits move downstream and form acidic water through continuous oxidation reaction. The heavy metals such as Pb, Zn, Cu, Cd, Ni, Mn and Fe are enriched in the mine water of low pH, and their contents decrease as the pH of mine water increases because of the influx of fresh stream water. Soils of the pyrophyllite deposits are characterized by high contents of heavy metals. The stream sediments containing the yellowish brown precipitates formed by neutralization of acid mine drainage occur in all parts of the stream derived from the pyrophyllite deposits, and the sediments also contain high amounts of heavy metals. In summary, the acid mine drainage of the pyrophyllite deposits is located in the upstream part of Hoidong water reservoir in Pusan contains large amounts of heavy metals and flows into the Hoidong water reservoir without any purification process. To protect the water of Hoidong reservoir, the acid mine drainage should be treated with a proper purification process.
