        This study aims to suggest the proper ease for slim-fit jackets according to the number of buttons from a one-button jacket to four-button jackets for men in their 30’s. The researchers carried out both an appearance evaluation and movement functionality evaluation. The results are as follows: When conducting the appearance evaluations, meaningful differences were found. The one-button jacket showed high scores for the 7.5 cm ease. The two-button jacket and the three-button jacket showed high scores for the 10.5 cm ease. The four-button jacket showed a high score for the 13.5 cm ease. Next, the results of the movement functionality evaluation showed the same trend; as the ease was increased from 7.5 cm to 13.5 cm, the scores increased. This is because if the garments offer more ease, this gives room for actions. Additionally, it showed that if there were fewer jacket buttons, then the results showed a high score. The researchers believe that if the number of jacket buttons is lower, then the area of the V-zone increases, so that there is more room for movement. The study suggests a proper chest ease of 7.5 cm for the one-button jacket, 10.5 cm for the two-button jacket and three-button jacket, and 13.5 cm for the four-button jacket, respectively.

        The purpose of this study is to identify women (aged from 49~59), who have recently emerged as consumers, and their clothing preferences, and it suggests how to make jackets provide better fit and wearability. The results of the study are as follows. In drafting a pattern for size 66 tailored collar jacket with an X-silhouette, it was made with front waist length measuring B/4+1.5 cm, a back length of B/4+1.3 cm, an armhole depth of B/4, a hip ease of H/4+1.2 cm and a sleeve opening of 34.5 cm, to allow for easy movement. In drafting a size 66 high neck collar jacket, it was made with a front and back waist length measuring B/4+1.5 cm, an armhole depth of B/4, a hip ease of H/4+1.2 cm and a sleeve opening of 35 cm. In drafting a size 66 sports collar jacket with an A-silhouette, it was made with front and back waist lengths measuring B/4+1.5 cm, an armhole depth of B/4, and a side dart of 1.3 cm, to provide raglan sleeves. The last experimental jacket pattern improved the appearance and moving fitness evaluation especially for shoulder and arm movement. Based on analysis, jackets were made and subjected to an appearance evaluation using multi-modules to test the level of wearing satisfaction for each fabric and silhouette. the results of the multi-module wearing tests indicate that the preferred silhouettes caused less stressful situations in terms of both psychological and physiological signals.

        해상풍력발전의 건설이 여러 가지 환경 및 가설공법 등의 설치환경 등의 원인에 의하여 건설지점이 천해에서 심해로 이동하는 경향을 나타내고 있다. 이러한 경향 속에 해상풍력발전 지지구조물의 심해화에 따른 지지구조물에 대한 연구는 중요성이 더욱 증대될 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 Jacket 구조물에 대하여 Precast Concrete Block 및 Suction pile을 적용한 Jacket 구조물을 제안하고 이에 대하여 구조해석 및 안전성 평가를 실시하였다. 또한 제안된 구조물에 동조액체감쇠기를 적용하여 구조물 진동성능 향상을 도모하고자 하였다. 연구결과, 제안된 신형식 Jacket 구조물은 충분한 안전성을 가지고 있는 것으로 평가되었으며, 동조액체감쇠기를 적용하였을 경우, 약 5%의 진동저감 효과가 있는 것으로 검토되었다.

        Introduction 5 working days a week and wellness trends, that allows more consumers to actively enjoy outdoor activities, has led to a rapid growth in the outdoor clothing market. Buyers of outdoor clothing perceive them as causal and functional clothes that they can wear comfortably in daily life as well as for outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing (Park et al., 2002). There is an increased interest in outdoor activities by seniors who engage in various hobbies for health. Active seniors are energetic retirees who actively enjoy their retirement. They have emerged as a new consumer group in the inactive culture market (such as travel and the performing arts) due to their enjoyment of activities (such as language study, computer education, cosmetic/beauty treatments and sports) that is different from previous generations of older people (Korean Economic glossary, 2014). The most striking characteristic of active seniors is their generous investment in self-development based on secure assets and retirement income. Many studies have been done on senior citizens based on age that have examined body types (Ahn, 2003; Kim, 1995; Lee & Kim, 2007) and original clothing forms (Lee, 2003; Nam & Choi, 2002; Moon, 2008). However, these studies did not fully reflect the needs of active seniors interested in clothing. Additionally, most studies were conducted on female seniors with few studies on male seniors. It is necessary to accept and understand changes in the body types and physical functions of seniors body types and physical functions that accompany age and changing aesthetic sense with styles that are differentiated from existing elderly groups in regards to clothing for active seniors. A study on older men's body classification (Kim & Lee, 2003) indicated that the characteristics of older men's body types were not fully considered because a clothing sizing system was not separately established for older people. Most outdoor clothing companies produced patterns for a young generation. This study was conducted on the outdoor jacket wearing pattern of active male seniors. The results of this study can be used to design outdoor jackets that are produced at a reasonable price with a wearable function useful for outdoor activities and daily life.

        Reflecting the consumer’s desire to look young, the “down-aging” trend, which blurs the distinctions between age groups, is the latest craze in the fashion market. The popularity of this trend made brand identities similar, resulting in customers becoming more interested in segmented notions of fashion (in terms of the story, design, high-quality material, etc.) regarding the product, and in particular, focus has become oriented to the fitness to the human body. In this sense, the researcher aimed to develop the prototype of a slim-fit tailored jacket that fits the standard somatotypes of women in their 30s well. For the purpose of this research, slim-fit tailored jackets from existing brands were collected and analyzed, and a subsequent wearability test was conducted based on the standard somatotype of women in their 30s. The research patterns were prototype of the developed slim fit tailored jacket are bust size of 3.8 cm, waist of 7 cm, and hip size of 3.8 cm. Then the research patterns were selected to develop the prototype of a properly fitting slim-fit tailored jacket. As outlined above, the development of a slim-fit tailored jacket prototype for the standard somatotypes of women in their 30s was conducted by solving the fitness issues of existing brands in order to produce properly fitting jackets that satisfy consumers.

        The purpose of this study is to evaluate the differences of body compensation image on variations in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket. Nine samples were examined: 3 variations of the shoulder height and 3 variations of the shoulder width. The data was evaluated by 123 fashion design majors. The results were as follows; as a result of analyzing the body compensation image according to changes in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket, five factors were selected; the shoulder compensation factor, the bust compensation factor, the waist compensation factor, the arm compensation factor and the neck compensation factor. Among these factors, the shoulder compensation factor is the most important factor. Examining the major effect of the body compensation image based on changes in the shoulder height and width of power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket, it had an independent influence on factors about waist, neck, shoulder and arm compensation except a factor about bust compensation, had an influence on interacting effect of factors about shoulder, bust, waist, arm compensation, and it had no influence on interacting effect of a factor about neck compensation. This shows that the shoulder height has larger effect on neck compensation image than the shoulder width in power shoulder raglan sleeve jacket.

        This study seeks to offer practical suggestions for manufacturing jacket lining patterns through research on menswear brands. A researcher conducted interviews with a survey instrument targeting 12 menswear brands. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics were obtained using SPSS 18.0. The main findings were as follows. First, regarding lining production, most menswear brands were found to provide jacket lining patterns to their subcontractors, and pattern makers were found to design lining patterns based on their own know-how. The most important factor in the production of jacket lining patterns is whether linings are cut more than once during the sewing process. For suit jackets, linings are cut more than once, and for casual jackets, linings are cut once. Second, with regard to jacket production for different jacket styles, most menswear brands were found to use patterns that include seam allowance. Partial linings showed differences in terms of the methods used to sew edges and attach linings to the outer shell. Third, extra space in jacket lining patterns varied according to style. Jacket lining patterns for suit jackets and casual jackets showed differences in extra space in the following areas: the parts that cover the chest(suit jacket linings: 5.6cm, casual jacket linings: 2.4cm), the parts that cover the waist(suit jacket linings: 3.8cm, casual jacket linings: 1.3cm), hem(suit jacket linings: 2.7cm, casual jacket linings: 1.3cm), and bicep(suit jacket linings: 2.7cm, casual jacket linings: 1.1cm). However, extra space in the sleeve hems was identical for the two styles(suit jacket linings: 0.1cm, casual jacket linings: 0.1cm). Therefore, this research suggests that clothing manufacturers design linings in accordance with the jacket lining production style.

        This study intends to use the basic patterns in 3oz bodice and 2oz sleeve padded jackets made for women in their 20s to research the proper ease of 2oz bodice and 2oz sleeve, 4oz bodice and 3oz sleeve padded jackets. The study also proposes a method of designing padded jacket patterns according to padding thickness. The results of this study are as follows: The 2oz bodice and 2oz sleeve padded jackets had the following sizes. The front and back bust, waist, and hip circumferences were calculated as B/4+2.5cm and B/4+3cm, W/4+2.6+3.3(D)cm and W/4+1.5+2.6(D)cm, and H/4+2.8cm and H/4+3cm, respectively. The length of the jacket was 62.4cm, and the sleeve length was calculated as 63.4cm. For the 4oz bodice and 3oz sleeve padded jackets, the front and back bust, waist, and hip circumferences were calculated as B/4+4cm and B/4+4cm, W/4+4.1+3(D)cm and W/4+2.5+3.6(D)cm, and H/4+4.3cm and H/4+4cm, respectively. The length of the jacket was 63.2cm, and the sleeve length was calculated as 64.2cm. The results of this study showed that padded jackets with thicker padding need more ease. For jackets with stitches, the decreased lengths must be added in the pattern length. The 2oz bodice and 2oz sleeve, 4oz bodice and 3oz sleeve padded jackets all scored 4 points or higher in the movement functionality assessment, thus showing outstanding movement functionality.

        This study is the research appling the representative Displacement-Based Design which is the basic concept of Direct Displacement Based Design proposed by Chopra and Goel to original Reinforced Concrete moment frame and determining the thickness of retrofit Steel Jacket about the Maximum design ground acceleration, and developing the more improved Algorithm as well as program by the Retrofit Design method and Nonlinear analysis by the Performance design method before and after reinforcement appling the determined retrofit thickness. It also shows the result of the seismic performance improvement which is the ratio of seismic performance appreciation result yield displacement 19%, yield strength ratio 24%, displace ductility ratio the maximum 27% comparing Multi degree of freedom, column member of Reinforced Concrete with the performance improvement column member considering the thickness of the determined Steel Jacket. The developed Algorithm and program are easy to apply seismic design and application to the original Reinforced Concrete building, at the same time, it applicate to display well the design result of Target displacement performance level about nonlinear behavior.

        The efficiency tests of automatic positioning transmitter (APT) using satellite on life jacket were carried out to minimize casualties of fishermen and to make system optimization for effective SAR (Search and Rescue) operation. As the result of the tests, average position was equaled on the comparison between SPOT using low earth orbit satellite and DGPS (Differential Global Positining System), but standard deviation of DGPS for latitude and longitude were 66.4% and 46.3% smaller than those of SPOT. The position precision of SPOT was almost two times lower than LGT using geostationary satellite to compare 95% circular error probability. However, the success rate of receiver for SPOT was revealed as 86.5~94.1% on the experiments in the South Sea and the West Sea and it was 4.5 times higher than LGT. Therefore, SPOT is expected to contribute greatly to the rapid rescue of victim.

        Recently, the manufacturers of life-jacket are very interested in the acquisition of USCG(US Coast Guard) approval because the acquisition of USCG approval has an important role in the purchasing decision of the buyer's. Be based on criterion of USCG, we studied how to predict the change of floating position of human model with life-jacket to verify the backside restore. For this, in this study, the human model and the lifejacket was modeled in three dimension, the application program for prediction of floating position was developed, and plugged-in commercial program.

        본 연구는 기존 철근콘크리트 구조물에 대하여 대표적인 변위-기반 설계법인 Chopra&Goel 이 제안한 직접변위-기반 설계법의 기본개념을 적용하여 최대 설계지반 가속도에 대한 보강 Steel Jacket의 두께를 결장하고, 결정된 보강 두께를 적용하여 보강전 후 성능설계기법에 의한 비선형 해석 및 보강설계법에 의한 보다 개선된 알고리즘 및 프로그램을 제시하였다. Steel Jacket 보강된 철근콘크리트 기둥에 대한 설계 변위 추정을 위해 Steel Jacket 보강된 철근콘크리트 부재의 비선형 층상화 세그멘트 해석 모델을 제시하고, 성능기반설계에 의한 성능개선설계를 위하여 목표성능변위 및 설계자전가속도 조건에 대해 직접 변위-기반 설계 방법 및 변위계 수법에 의한 내진성능개선 설계 방법을 제시하였다. 적용 예에서 본 방법은 기존 철근콘크리트 기둥과 비교하여 성능개선설계 결과 보강 전에 비해 변위 연성비 및 변위성능에서 크게 개선된 성능설계 결과를 제공해 주었다.

        This study is focused on the elucidation of efficient and correct marking methods by comparing and analyzing marker efficiency depending on the marking job condition such as interval of checking-pattern and marker orientation using woman's Jacket and Slacks. Research Method intended to compare the marking efficiency of Jacket and Slacks, check-less and check- patterned materials with the intervals of 1.5×1.5cm and 5×5cm were selected. First, in the comparison of marking efficiency depending on check-pattern interval, regardless of the direction of marker position, single-item makers and set-item makers, the efficiency of check-less materials was higher than those of check-patterned materials and increasing the intervals decreased marking efficiency and vice versa. Marking efficiency of Slacks was less influenced than marking efficiency of Jacket by check-pattern interval. Second, in the comparison of marking efficiency depending on the direction of marker position, regardless of check-pattern interval and number of maker pieces, the efficiency of nap-up-and-down position was higher than those of nap-one-way position. Third, the marking efficiency of single-item was more effective than one of set-item in all working condition except nap-one-way position in checkless materials.

        Withsuffering financial crisis in 1997, Korea's fashion market has grown in the direction that satisfies the reasonable price and diverse consumer's sensitivity and needs. The aim of this study is to examine whether the cutting portion in the waist line is surely necessary for designing the jacket pattern in men's wear, by closely examining the effects of the cutting portion in the waist line on the external appearance and functionality given designing the jacket pattern in men's wear for the standard body type in 20s. The results of the study are as follows. As a result of evaluating the external appearance, when having evaluated by dividing into 14 items such as the whole surface, the side, and the back side, the experimental clothing, which wasn't cut the waist line, obtained the highest mark in 13 items and, the significant difference was indicated in 10 items except 4 items. As a result of evaluating performance, the experimental clothing, which wasn't cut the waist line, obtained the highest mark in 13 items among 25 items in the total. Next, the cutting portion in the waist line obtained the highest mark in 10 items for the experimental clothing with opening in 1.0cm. The next was indicated to be in order of the experimental clothing with 1.5cm and the experimental clothing with 0.5cm. Given seeing the above result, the cutting portion in the waist line given designing the jacket pattern for the standard body type in 20s could be known that the experimental clothing with the most excellent mark in the evaluation of performance was all the experimental clothing with 0.0cm whose waist line wasn't cut.

        풍력 발전 분야는 앞으로 에너지 대란에 있어서 이를 해결해 줄 중요한 돌파구 중의 하나이다. 지금까지 연구되어 온 풍력발전기의 Tower에 대한 분야는 정적인 해석에 그치고 있다. 본 연구에서는 타워의 형태를 크게 두 가지 Tubular Type와 Jacket Type으로 정하고 이것에 대한 각각의 특성을 파악하며, 그 경향을 찾아내 이를 실제 설계 및 제작에 적용하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 타워의 모드별 고유진동수를 파악하고 이것에 대한 특성을 연구하였으며, 작동 중 발생하는 하중과 해상 설치 시 작용하는 부가질량의 영향에 대하여 고려하여 그 특성을 파악하였고 두가지 유형의 타워의 특성을 비교하여 그 경향을 예측 할 수 있었다.

        본 연구에서는, 기존 철근 콘크리트 구조물에 적용된 직접 변위-기반 설계법을 적용 FRP 피복 보강된 성능개선 콘크리트 부재에 대한 정밀 비선형 휨 해석 및 내진성능설계의 구체적 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 비선형 휨 해석의 정밀 예측을 위하여 콘크리트 및 FRP 복합재료의 다축 구성관계를 고려하였으며, Chopra 등 (1999)이 제안한 직접 변위-기반 설계법(DDM)을 개선하여 철근콘크리트 기둥에 대한 성능개선을 위한 FRP 피복 보강을 위한 성능설계 알고리즘을 제시하였다. 제시된 직접 변위-기반 설계법은, 변위계수법과 비교하여, 비선형 거동이 큰 경우에도 목표 변위 성능 값에 대한 정확한 추정을 해준다. 이는 변위계수법이 항복 이전의 유효탄성계수를 사용하는 반면, 직접 변위-기반 설계법은 유효탄할선탄성계수를 고려하고 있어, 목표 변위에 따른 성능설계 평가에 있어서 보다 높은 연성비의 거동을 반영하고 있기 때문인 것으로 평가된다.
