        충전과 방전이 빈번히 발생하는 축전지의 사용수명을 늘리고 안정적인 사용을 위해서는 과 방전을 방지하는 것이 가장 중요한 요인중 하나이다. 축전지의 건강상태를 파악하는 방법에는 여러 가지로 연구가 진행되고 있으며, 그 중에서도 본 논문에서는 가장 간단하게 축전지의 상태를 파악할 수 있는 단자전압을 이용하는 방법을 활용하여 축전지의 잔존용량을 파악하였다. 일정 전압 이하로 축전지의 전압이 떨어지지 못하도록 간단하게 비교기를 이용하여 과 방전이 되지 못하도록 설계 제작하였다. 상수도 시설이 없는 장소의 저수조탱크의 물 소독을 목적으로 제작된 태양광발전을 응용한 소독약 자동 주입장치의 축전지에 설계한 회로를 제작 설치하여 그 동작실험을 하고 그 유용함을 확인하였다.

        Although bacterial outbreaks from ready-to-eat foods such as sprouts have increased, the information on microbial biocontrol by means of sanitizers is limited. Twenty sprouts of red cabbage, baby radish, alfalfa, and broccoli each were collected from the wholesale markets in Seoul. Ethanol and organic acids including acetic acid, citric acid, and lactic acid were used to control the amount of mesophilic bacteria and Bacillus cereus. Sanitizer mixtures of ethanol and organic acids showed a remarkable reduction of viable counts and, in particular, the sanitizer mixture comprised of 20% ethanol and 1% lactic acid seemed to be best by a reduction of 7~8 log CFU/g on the sprouts after a 10 minute exposure. At the same time, the sanitizer comprised of 20% ethanol and 1% lactic acid showed the same reduction for Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, B. cereus, Staphylococcus aureus, and Enterococcus faecalis, with more effect toward the Gram-negative bacteria. Sensory evaluation by texture, browning, off-flavour, and overall acceptability seemed better just after treatment when compared to one day after treatment with the sanitizer. Therefore, the sanitizers of ethanol-organic acid might be an effective means to control the bacterial contamination of sprouts in palce of sodium hypochloric acid.

        This study was carried out to investigate efficacy of aerosol sanitizer with natural antimicrobial and organic acids against Escherichia coli O157:H7, Salmonella Typhimurium and Listeria monocytogenes. The artificially inoculated pathogens on stainless steel coupon were treated with grapefruit seed extract (GFE), acetic acid,citric acid and lactic acid in model cabinet for 5 min. The number of three foodborne pathogens with individual treatment was reduced by 0.34-3.77 log units, treatment with GEF + organic acid was reduced by 1.72-3.89 log units and treatment with GEF + organic acid + alcohol was reduced by 1.46-5.05 log units. By treatment with GEF + lactic acid + alcohol in scale-up model system for 10 min. Populations of E. coli O157:H7, S. Typhimurium and L. monocytogenes were reduced by 3.42, 2.72 and 2.30 log units from the untreated control respectively. From the above result,aerosol sanitizer with natural antimicrobial agents and organic acid can be used as an environmental sanitation method with satisfying the consumer demand on safe food.

        This study assessed the efficacy of aqueous chlorine dioxide (CIO2) and commercial chlorine sanitizer in terms of its ability to eliminate Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella Typhimurium, and Escherichia coli 0157:H7 on radish sprouts (Raphanus sativus L.). Radish sprouts were inoculated with a cocktail containing one each of three strains of three different foodbome pathogens, then treated with distilled water (control) or chemical sanitizers (100 ppm commercial chlorine, and 50, 100, 200 ppm CIO2) for 1, 5, and 10 min at room temperature (22士2℃). Populations of S.Typhimurium, E. coli 0157:H7 and L. monocytogenes were counted at 4.64, 6.05, and 4.29 log CFU/g, respectively, after inoculation. Treatment with water did not significantly reduce the levels of any of the three foodbome pathogens. The levels of all three pathogens were reduced by treatment with chemical sanitizers; however, the observed 1evels of reduction of E. coli 0157:H7 and L. monocytogenes were not significant as compared with the controls. The levels of the three pathogens were reduced most profoundly when treated for 10 min with 200 ppm of CIO2, and the reduction levels of S. Typhimurium, E. coli 0157:H7, and L. monocytogenes were 1.17, l.63, and 0.9610g CFU/g, respectively. When chemically injured cells were investigated using SPRAB for E. coli 0157:H7 and by selective overlay methods for S. Typhimurium and L. monocytogenes, respectively, it was noted that commercial chlorine sanitizer generated more numbers of Í넌red pathogens than did CIO2. These data indicate that CIO2 treatment may prove useful in reducing the numbers of pathogenic bacteria in radish sprouts.

        현재 미국 및 유럽에서 공정시험법중 하나로 인정되고 있는 표면시험법을 사용하여 유기물과 함께 또는 유기물없이 세균만 건조된 식품접촉 표면에 서의 살균소독제 유효성에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 식품접촉표면으로 사용되는 스테인리스, 폴리프로필렌 및 실리콘에 Escherochia coli ATCC 10536 또는 Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 6538을 접종하고 살균소독제로서 염화벤잘코늄, 차아염소산나트륨 또는 에탄올을 20 ℃에서 5분간 처리하였다. 그 결과, 각 표면의 종류는 살균소독제의 유효성에 큰 영향을 미치지 않았으며, 200 ppm 농도의 염화벤잘코늄 및 차아염소산나트륨은 유기물질이 존재할 경우 생균수를 4 cfu log10/carrier 이상 감소시키지 못하였으나, 40% 에탄올은 생균수를 4 cfu log10/carrier 이상 감소시키는 것으로 나타났다.
