제주도 북서부인 애월 해안에는 평탄하게 흐른(판상) 용암류와 둥근 모양(원통)의 용암류가 관찰된다. 원통형 용암류의 치밀한 내부에는 동심원 구조와 방사상 절리가 발달한다. 구엄리 돌염전 주변의 판상 용암류 내부에는 상하부의 굵기가 다른 주상절리가 발달한다. 주상절리 상부는 다각형의 형태가 고르지 않으며 직경은 120-150 cm이다. 주상절리 하부는 육각형과 오각형으로 형태가 일정하고, 크기도 60 cm 내외이다. 원통형 로브는 크기와 형태에 따라 두 그룹으로 나눌 수 있다. 하나는 메가로브인데, 최대 직경이 30 m인 반원형이다. 또 하나는 원형의 로브로 직경이 10 m 이하이다. 원통형 용암류의 방사상 절리의 기둥 단면은 육각형과 오각형이며, 기둥의 직경은 중심에서 바깥쪽으로 증가하는데 바깥쪽 경계부에서는 80-120 cm 정도이다. 원통형 용암에서 관찰되는 동심원 구조는 4가지 요인이 복합된 것이다. 첫째는 원형의 균열로, 원통형 용암류 내에서 안쪽과 바깥쪽 사이의 온도차와 밀도차로 발생한 수축으로 생긴 틈새이다. 둘째는 방사상 절리의 마디층이 동심원을 이룬 것으로, 이 마디층은 방사상 절리와 동시에 만들어진 것이다. 셋째는 유동 띠로서, 용암이 흐를 때 둥근 통로에 남긴 흔적이다. 네 번째는 용암에서 빠져나온 가스가 동굴에 형성된 기공 띠이다.

In this work, the natural convection in an annulus between two concentric cylinders is studied numerically. The fluid flow between the cylinders is solved by the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) while a separate finite difference method (FDM) is used to solve the heat transfer. No-slip and constant boundary conditions at curved boundaries of the cylinders are treated with a smoothed profile method (SPM). At first, the velocity and temperature profiles obtained from the present LBM-SPM and FDM-SPM are validated with the corresponding theoretical results. Later, natural convection simulations inside the annulus are performed using coupled scheme of LBM-FDM-SPM by varying Ra in the range Ra=1000, Ra=10000, Ra=50000, and Ra=100000. From the temperature and fluid flow patterns obtained at different Ra, it is found that the heat transfer is mainly dominated by conduction process when Ra is low and by convection process when Ra is high.

In this research, the inspection system for the concentricity of hole-saws through the image analysis is developed. The hole-saw, made by being rolled manually with bimetals, is the tool to make a hole in the wall. Its quality is definitely depended on the concentricity of hole-saws. However, it is difficult to check its concentricity and make a decision for the quality control without any automatic inspection system. This research made the automatic image analysis program based on the singular value decomposition model with only a webcam. Experimental results and evaluations demonstrate the validity of the proposed methods.

The side wall thickness variation of the product to the process of ironing and the die pad was studied using a progressive die of the multi-stage drawing product in the process of ironing and the die pad. Experimental results because ironing is possible to increase the side wall thickness of the product is applied to the intermediate drawing process rather than applied in the initial process. The roundness and concentricity were easy control. A die pad is applied to a stand pad to the sixth step from the first step. The seventh step and the eighth step are applied integrated pad. The integrated pad of the seventh step and the eighth step appeared to be advantageous to control the roundness and concentricity.

풍자개는 어린이들의 순수한 세계를 한없이 사랑하고 아꼈다. 어린이에 관한 그림을 많이 그리며 그 속에 자신의 꿈, 희망, 갈등, 불만, 문제점들을 투사하였다. 어린이 그림을 통하여 인간성, 사회의 모순, 교육 제도 등을 비판하였고 어른들의 세계에서 실망할 때마다 동심의 세계를 그렸다. 어른들의 언어로 소통하기 힘든 부분을 어린이의 시선으로 표현하여 새로운 관점과 시각을 제공했다. 풍자개가 살았던 시대가 힘들었던 만큼 순진무구한 동심의 세계를 그리며 꿈과 희망 및 소망 사항들을 표출했다.

This paper is concerned with -the numerical a-nalysis on the secondary flow between two concentric torus-shaped curved pipe with the change in III which is the ratio between the radii of the inner and outer periphery circles. The primary and the secondary flows are solved by a method of series expansion, based on the momentum equation for the flow fields. The first term of the series expansion is determined and the analytical and graphical expression is presented for the secondary flow.
