        The parking gear is very important part of automotive because it is related to safety. Nonlinear gear groove of parking gear is used to enlarge the contact area between parking gear and pawl. The die has been widely applied for many industrial parts such as machine, automotive and so on. The purpose of this study is to investigate the stability of upper and lower dies by using numerical analysis. As the results, the lower die was weaker than the upper die in this study, and the lower die showed that it should be used within 500ton in terms of safety factor. Further the most weak point of lower die was low location in front of gear. Its minimum value of safety factor was 0.578 in case of 4000ton of press load, therefore, this weak point was needed to be reinforced.

        Small-sized heater is usually used to make the hot water in resting place, factory, household affairs and so on. One of methods to obtain hot water in short time is known as using instantaneous electric water heater. In this study, numerical analysis for small-sized hot water heater with straight double tube-type was tried to achieve the basic design data. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of thermal flow, for instance, such as pressure difference, outlet mean temperature and velocity, due to clearance. As the clearance is decreased, outlet mean temperature and pressure difference(Pmax.-Pmin.) are increased. Therefore appropriate relations between area of heat source and pressure difference should be set up. Further small-sized hot water heater in this study must be equipped with electric device capable of heating over 90℃.

        이 논문은 이윤기의 소설 「숨은그림찾기 1-직선과 곡선」에 대한 공식적인 문학교육 방식을 고찰하고 개선 방안을 제안한다. 이는 청소년의 현실과 연계하여 그 정신적 성장을 유인하는 문학교육, 인문교육과 제휴하는 문학교육 방안을 축적하는 작업의 일환이다. 공식적인 문학교육은 이 작품을 통해 타자 이해의 윤리를 주입하면서, 정형화된 타자 이해 교육의 패턴을 추수한다. 이는 학생들에게 공감을 유발하지 못하 며, 작품의 이해를 교란한다. 이 논문은 타자를 이해하자는 죽은 구호보다는 인간의 내재적 한계인 시각과 인식의 자기중심성에 주목하기를 제안한다. 이는 청소년의 심리적 특징인 자기중심성과 연계하여 교육할 지점을 마련한다. 문학교육은 청소년의 실제 현실을 연상시키면서 심리학적 지식을 보조 자료로 도입할 수 있다. 또한 청소년이 당면한 현실적 문제에 대한 통찰력을 기르고 마음을 다스리는 데 도움을 주기 위해 문학교육과 인문교육의 제휴는 유용한데, 그 자료의 축적에 기여하고자 이 논문은 시각과 인식의 자기중심성에 관한 동서양의 철학적 사유를 참고 자료로 제시한다.

        The molybdenum cup and molybdenum pin, which are the main materials of the molybdenum electrode used for the LCD BLU CCFL electrode, have not been developed in Japan and all of them are imported and used from Japan, is giving a competitive burden. In this research, to develop the manufacturing technology of molybdenum pin used for CCFL electrode of LCD BLU, development of linear processing technology, development of molybdenum wire surface treatment technology, development of wire cutting technology, production of molybdenum pin, design and fabrication of JIG and Fixture for inspection, molybdenum pin prototyping and analysis, and development of 100% molybdenum pin inspection technology. In this paper, especially, research on linear processing technology is treated.

        PURPOSES : In this study, a virtual driving simulator was used to analyze the effects of implementing appropriate highway driving criteria on the attentiveness of motorists on Korean highways. METHODS : The study includes three scenarios. Scenario 1 was purposed to investigate the relationships between driver focus, the brain waves associated with drowsiness, and the speed of motorists driving along the straight 5-km section of Saemangeum South-North Road, which is the same as a car-only road. Scenarios 2 and 3 were designed to have shorter straight sections to enable comparison of the occurrence of drowsiness-related brain waves and velocity changes at 3 km and 2 km, respectively. RESULTS : Driver focus was found to decrease and result in speeding after driving 2.5 km of the straight section. Past this point, driver focus continued to decrease, and drivers continued to accelerate. However, upon reaching a curved section, driver focus increased according to the linear change; furthermore, drivers showed a tendency to reduce their speed to a value near the speed limit. CONCLUSIONS : According to the analysis of highway traffic accidents that occurred between 2013 and 2015, approximately 50% of total traffic accidents are due to speeding, drowsiness, and negligence. Therefore, if appropriately long straight sections, i.e., sections that are not associated with a reduced ability to focus, are calculated and implemented in road planning and operation, it is possible to prevent accidents caused by lack of driver focus.

        Hot forging is widely used to manufacture many industrial parts such as machine, automotive and so on. It is important to simulate the relations or characteristics between preform and die before designing the die. The purpose of this study is to investigate the forging characteristics of parking gear with nonlinear gear groove, thus the behaviors of preform can be predicted in advance and finally they can be applied to die design. As the results, since the distributions of high effective strain rate of parking gear were less than 3%, it was predicted that the manufacturing of parking gear with nonlinear gear groove might be possible. Furthermore it was observed that, in this study, the effective stress of bottom die was lower than that of top die.

        해상교량 하부의 직선항로 길이 확보는 선박 통항 안전을 위한 중요한 요소 중 하나이다. 그러나 항만 및 어항 설계기준에 따르면 해상교량 하부 직선항로 길이는 선박길이의 8배로 획일적인 가이드라인을 적용하고 있다. 본 연구는 적정 해상교량 하부 직선길이를 도출하기 위해 ES 모델을 이용하여 항로폭, 통항량, 항로의 곡률, 직선항로길이에 따른 위험도 비율을 확인했다. 확인 결과 항로의 곡률이 45°의 경우 항로길이가 3L에서 10L로 길어짐에 따라 위험도 비율이 2.27 % 감소했다. 곡률에 따른 위험도는 직선항 로의 길이가 3L의 경우 곡률이 45°에서 0°로 변하면서 위험도 비율이 4.83 % 감소하는 것을 확인했다. 또한 항로폭 400 m, 시간당 발 생선박이 20척의 조건에서 항로의 곡률별, 직선항로에 따른 위험도 비율은 최대 1.45 % 감소하는 것을 확인했다. 이를 통해 해상 교량 건설 시 항로의 혼잡도 및 곡률에 따라 일정 길이 이상의 직선항로가 필요함을 검증했다.

        The volume of fluid method is used to investigate the behavior of a liquid water slug in a PEMFC trapezoidal gas channel(GC) with a open angle of 60 degrees. To evaluate the effect of the contact angle of the top and side walls, the gas diffusion layer water coverage ratio(GWCR) and water volume fraction(WVF) in a inspection control volume are analyzed. As the contact angle increases, GWCR increases and WVF decreases. The cases with the GC contact angle of 60 and 80 degrees show the more favorable water removal characteristics compared to the other cases in a GC flooding condition.

        PURPOSES: In this paper, the effectiveness of speed-maintained standardization in road geometry on environmental impact at a downward slope location, based on greenhouse gas (GHG) emission indicators, was studied. Specifically, the aim of this study was to ascertain whether speed-maintained standardization resulted in decreased CO2 emissions as well as noise pollution, due to reduced vehicle speeds. METHODS : In this study, speed-maintained standardization in road geometry was proposed as a means to reduce vehicle speeds, with a view to reducing CO2 emissions and noise pollution. This technique was applied at a downward slope location. The vehicle speeds, CO2 emissions, and noise levels before and after application of speed-maintained standardization were compared. RESULTS: It was found that speed-maintained standardization was effective as a means to reduce speed, as well as CO2 emissions and noise pollution. By applying speed-maintained standardization, it was confirmed that vehicle speeds were reduced consistently. As a result, CO2 emissions and noise levels were decreased by 9% and 11%, respectively. CONCLUSIONS : This study confirmed that speed-maintained standardization in road geometry is effective in reducing vehicle speeds, CO2 emissions, and noise levels. Moreover, there is further scope for the application of this method in the design of roads in urban and rural areas, as well as in the design of highways.

        본 연구에서는 3차원 직선교 모델의 객체인식을 통해 각 객체별 고유 명칭을 부여하는 알고리즘을 제시한다. 3차원 객체의 수치적 인식을 위해 국부 좌표계 상의 솔리드 객체 도심 좌표를 활용하였으며, 객체의 분류, 부재의 구분, 교량 방향 인식 등을 수행하여 객체특성집합을 정의하였다. 이를 통해 경간정보, 부재정보, 객체의 순서정보를 포함한 객체별 고유 명칭을 부여하였고, 트러스 교량 모델 및 서로 다른 좌표계를 갖는 교량모델에 적용하여 각 부재별 객체특성집합을 이용한 명칭의 부여의 적합성을 검토하였다. 또한 실제 교량의 3차원 모델을 대상으로 제안된 방법론을 통해 객체특성집합 정의 및 객체별 명칭을 부여하였고, 이를 매개로 모바일 장치용 모듈과 로컬 서버용 모듈에 적용하였다. 객체인식을 통한 명칭부여 알고리즘을 활용한 방법과 기존 현장점검 방식의 비교를 통해 기존 유지관리 현장점검 업무를 효과적으로 개선할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

        Robots in various types carry and assemble parts through repeatedly and accurately moving to stored locations by combining linear motions. And, linear systems are used in orthogonal axes of robots and driven via ball screws, such as 2-axis cartesian coordinate robot in this paper. This paper presents the effect of the linear motion guide that is used in 2nd axis in 2-axis cartesian coordinate robot. Some simulation results show that the linear motion guide influence greatly in robot performance such as the nominal life of linear guide. When use LM guide that have capacity near in 2nd axis, this paper show that the nominal life on LM block of 1st axis increases 37.4% and that the specification of 2nd axis LM guide influences greatly the nominal life of 1st axis LM block.

        Many studies have shown that the initial median frequency (MDF) and slope correlate with the muscle fiber composition. This study tested the hypothesis that the initial MDF and slope are fixed, regardless of the interval at which data are collected. MDF data using moving fast Fourier transformation of EMG signals, following local fatigue induced by isotonic exercise, were obtained. An inverse FFT was used to eliminate noise, and characteristic decreasing regression lines were obtained. The regression analysis was done in three different periods, the first one third, first half, and full period, looking at variance in the initial MDF, slope, and fatigue index. Data from surface EMG signals during fatiguing isotonic exercise of the biceps brachii and vastus lateralis in 20 normal subjects were collected. The loads tested were 30% and 60% maximum voluntary contraction (MVC) in the biceps brachii and 40% and 80% MVC in the vastus lateralis. The rate was 25 flexions per minute. There were no significant differences in the initial MDF or slope during the early or full periods of the regression, but there was a significant difference in the fatigue index. Therefore, to observe the change in the initial MDF and slope of the MDF regression line during isotonic exercise, this study suggest that only the early interval need to be observed.

        This paper proposes a method for motion estimation of consecutive cameras using 3-D straight lines. The motion estimation algorithm uses two non-parallel 3-D line correspondences to quickly establish an initial guess for the relative pose of adjacent frames, which requires less correspondences than that of current approaches requiring three correspondences when using 3-D points or 3-D planes. The estimated motion is further refined by a nonlinear optimization technique with inlier correspondences for higher accuracy. Since there is no dominant line representation in 3-D space, we simulate two line representations, which can be thought as mainly adopted methods in the field, and verify one as the best choice from the simulation results. We also propose a simple but effective 3-D line fitting algorithm considering the fact that the variance arises in the projective directions thus can be reduced to 2-D fitting problem. We provide experimental results of the proposed motion estimation system comparing with state-of-the-art algorithms using an open benchmark dataset.

        In this study a hybrid energy dissipation device is developed by combining a steel slit damper and linear-slot friction dampers to be used for seismic retrofit of structures. The hybrid damper has an advantage in that friction dampers are activated for small earthquakes or strong wind while slit damper remains elastic, and both friction and slit dampers work simultaneously for strong earthquakes. Cyclic loading tests of the linear-slot friction, slit, and the combined hybrid dampers are carried out to evaluate their seismic energy dissipation capability.

        최근 수문관측의 측정 인력과 비용의 절감과 측정 정확도를 높이기 위해 초음파를 이용한 ADCP 유량 측정 방법의 적용이 활발하게 이루어지고 있으며 점점 그 비중이 높아지고 있다. 하지만 ADCP의 유속 및 수심 측정 정확도에 대한 자료가 부족하여 ADCP 측정 결과에 대한 신뢰도를 확신하기 어렵다. 이에 본 연구에서는 직선하천에서 체계적이고 정밀한 측정을 통해 ADCP의 유속 및 수심 정확도를 분석하였 다. ADCP의 유속 측정 정확도를 분석하기 위해 횡단면에 184개의 측점에서 측정한 ADV 유속 측정 결과와 ADCP의 유속 측정 결과를 비교하여 오차를 계산하였다. 그 결과 바닥을 기준으로 수심비(y/h)가 0.4∼0.8 범위에서는 ADCP가 정확하게 유속을 측정하는 것으로 나타났으나, 수면 근처에서는 유속을 작게 측정하였고, 하상 근처에서는 유속을 크게 측정하여 정확도가 떨어지는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 ADCP의 수심 정확도를 분석한 결과 하상추적(bottom tracking) 방식이 약 6%의 오차를 보였고, 연직 빔(vertical beam) 방식이 약 9%의 오차를 보여 식생이 활착한 자연하천의 경우 하상추적 방식이 좀 더 정확하게 수심을 측정하는 것으로 확인하였다. 그리고 고정 측정 방법과 이동 측정 방법의 차이를 검토한 결과 두 방법 모두 유사한 정확도를 나타냈다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 향후 ADCP의 측정 불확도 평가를 위한 기초 자료로 활용한다면 ADCP를 하천에 적용함에 있어 좀 더 정확한 유속 및 수심 측정이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

        본 연구에서는 IEC 60601-2-54에서 제시한 표준을 근거로 부하조건에서의 제한된 간격으로 걸친 공기커마를 절대측정하여 X선의 직선성을 면밀히 평가하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.10대를 대상으로 한 모든 진단용 X선 발생장치(DR)는 IEC 60601-2-54 표준에서 제시한 공기커마의 직선성이 부적합으로 나타났고, 일반적인 조사선량의 직선성 평가방법에서는 4대에서 최고 관전압의 50%와 80%의 두 개 측정 계열 모두 부적합으로 나타났으며, 나머지 6대에서는 최고 관전압의 50%와 80%의 두 개 측정 계열 모두에서 적합으로나타났다. IEC 60601-2-54 표준에서 제시한 직선성 시험과 기존의 조사선량 직선성 시험이 많은 차이를 보였다. IEC60601-2-54 표준+에서 제시한 공기커마의 직선성은 국제표준의 권고사항이므로 기존의 조사선량 직선성 보다 상당히 타당성이 있고, 방사선량을 정량화하기 위한 표준으로 IEC 60601-2-54 표준에서 제시한 공기커마의 직선성이 진단용 X선 영상장치 성능관리에 중요한 평가 요소라 사료된다.

        The loop closure problem is one of the most challenging issues in the vision-based simultaneous localization and mapping community. It requires the robot to recognize a previously visited place from current camera measurements. While the loop closure often relies on visual bag-of-words based on point features in the previous works, however, in this paper we propose a line-based method to solve the loop closure in the corridor environments. We used both the floor line and the anchored vanishing point as the loop closing feature, and a two-step loop closure algorithm was devised to detect a known place and perform the global pose correction. We propose an anchored vanishing point as a novel loop closure feature, as it includes position information and represents the vanishing points in bi-direction. In our system, the accumulated heading error is reduced using an observation of a previously registered anchored vanishing points firstly, and the observation of known floor lines allows for further pose correction. Experimental results show that our method is very efficient in a structured indoor environment as a suitable loop closure solution.
