‘마이송’은 경기도농업기술원에서 2009년도에 육성한 분화용 국화 신품종으로 2005년도에 흰색 계열 분화용 국화 ‘Tasman’ 품종을 모본으로 하고, 적색 ‘Eliot’ 품종을 부본 으로 교배하여 얻었다. 이 품종은 보라색 꽃잎을 가진 20 cm이하의 초장이 짧은 홑꽃형이다. 2007년부터 2009년까지 춘계 촉성재배와 동계 억제재배를 포함하는 특성검정을 수행하였다. ‘마이송’ 품종의 자연 개화기는 10월 14일이며, 전조재배와 차광재배로 개화가 조절되어 주년 재배가 가능하다. 화경은 24.4 mm, 착화수는 본당 49.8매이고 꽃잎수는 23.5매이다. 엽색은 녹색(Green Group 137B)이고 초장은 13.8 cm이다. 개화소요일수는 춘계에는 단일처리 후 42일 정도가 걸리며, 분지수는 겨울철에는 3.8개 정도를 가진다. 이 품종은 특성검정기간동안 흰녹병 발생이 없었고 대조품종에 비해 기호도가 높은 편이었다.
A new Dendranthema grandiflourm ‘My Song’ was developed at the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research ＆ Extension Services(GARES), Republic of Korea in 2009. ‘My Song’ was initially derived from a cross between ‘Tasman’, a pot chrysanthemum cultivar with white single type, and ‘Eliot’, a pot chrysanthemum cultivar with red single type in 2005. The cultivar has single type flowers with purple petals. Trials evaluation was conducted from 2006 to 2009 for a selection of this variety, including a shading culture in spring and a retarding culture in winter. The flowering time of ‘My Song’ was October 14th , and year-round flowering is possible by shading or lighting treatment. The diameter of flower is 24.4 mm. Numbers of flowers per stem and petals per flower are 49.8 and 23.5, respectively. Its leaf color was green (Green Group 137B) and plant height was 13.8 cm. Days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 42 in spring, and numbers of branch per plant was 3.8 ea in the winter. This cultivar was resistance to white rust and consumer’s preference of new pot-mum is high level than control.
