과밀이용으로 훼손이 가속화되고 있는 전라북도 소재 도립공원의 자원특성을 파악하고 탐방객 이용행태에 대한 기초자료를 수집하여 도립공원별 이용 특성을 파악함으로써 각각의 도립공원에 적합한 친환경적 관리방안을 파악하고자 연구를 수행하였다.442매의 설문지를 최종 분석하여 이용자 속성을 파악하였으며 행태분석 및 이용적합성분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 1)대둔산을 제외한 3개 도립공원에 있어서는 40, 50대의 이용이 타 연령에 비해 월등히 높았고 모악산과 선운산의 경우 주부들이가장 많은 것으로 집계되었으며 대둔산에 있어서는 사무직, 회사원이 가장 높은 비율을 보였다. 2) 친환경적 관리방법에있어서는 개발최소화가 각 공원 공히 가장 높이 나타나 개발 압에 대한 시민들의 의식을 표출한다 할 수 있으며 모악산에있어서는 집중이용금지 항목이 그다음 방법으로 제시되었다. 3) 이용적합성에 대한 평균값은 모악산 6.43을 비롯하여 선운산6.69로 나타나 도립공원의 자원들이 방문목적을 달성하는 활동을 하기에 적합한 것으로 판단된다. 4) 경관, 향기/음향/색채,계곡/물, 야생식물, 기상의 변인들이 양적으로 풍부하고 질적으로 우수할수록 이용적합성은 높아지는 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this research is to suggest objective basic data for park management proposal through the quantitative analysis of users' behavior and suitability in all provincial parks of Jeonbuk. On the basis of resource-based approach, we had constructed a conceptual framework for this research and found one variable of the overall recreation suitability and eight independent variables, representing characteristics of recreation resources. After questionnaire surveying 442 visitors in 4 provincial parks, we have analyzed the data using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression method. We have found that 1) the main purpose of visit is climbing in all park except viewing landscape of Maisan provincial park, and the using frequency of Moaksan is higher than that of other parks. 2) minimal development is the main answer of environment friendly management and that shows the civil sense to the reckless development, and 3) landscape turned out to have about 3 times greater than that of wild plants, judging from the absolute value of standardized regression coefficient. The reaserch findings can be used for planning and designing of provincial parks on recreation suitability of forest resources, and will provide pertinent guidelines for management of same area.
