본 계획은 충청남도 예산군 광시면에 소재한 대리, 시목리, 가덕리 등 전형적인 농촌마을을 대상지로 하여 수행하였다. 대상지를 중심으로 가치 있는 생태 ․ 문화적 자원이 존재하고, 다양한 사업이 추진됨에 따라 대상지가 보유한 입지의중요성 및 잠재력이 부각되고 있다. 따라서 본 계획은 이러한 다양한 기회요인을 토대로 황새와 함께 만드는 농촌생태마을이라는 비전을 제시하고 그에 부합되는 기본계획을 수립하였다. 계획내용으로는 황새복원센터의 배후지역에 대한 황새의서식환경조성을 위한 시목천 생태하천정비사업과 친환경농업 기반시설인 관정 및 농수로 정비, 친환경비료 생산시설,농산물 건조 및 저장시설의 설치와 방문객의 농촌체험 유도를 위한 체험센터 및 소규모가공시설 등이 있다. 본 계획을통해 대상지내 친환경이미지 제고, 지역경제활성화, 지역주민의 삶의 질 향상이 기대된다.

Yesan white stork comprehensive maintenance object performed the planning for a typical rural village such as Dae-ri, Simok-ri, Gadeok-ri, etc which are located in Gwangsi-myeon, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. As the area is abundant in ecological and cultural resources, and is to be promoted by various other projects, the location shows a lot of potential. Therefore, the objectives of this plan apply to the vision of creating a rural eco-village with the white stork compliant with the general plan. The general plan contents are as follows; 1) improve ecological river projects at Simok stream for restoring the habitats of the white stork around the area of the white stork restoration centre, 2) maintain environment-friendly facilities such as tube well, link canal, 3) install eco-friendly fertilizer production facilities and agricultural drying and storage facilities, 4) set up an agriculture experience visitor centre and small-scale agricultural processing facilities, etc. In conclusion, this plan will be expected to increase the environmentally-friendly image of the are, improve the local economy and also improve the quality of life for local residents.
