광시면소재지는 예당저수지 연계 생태관광거점지로서 뿐만 아니라 황새마을(복원센터) 개장에 의한 생태관광객 증가가 예상되고 있다기존 광시한우타운과 황새생태관광 및 광시 농업농촌테마공원과의 연계성을 확보하고 광시한우타운의 이미지 제고,시가지 보행환경 및 가로경관 향상을 위하여 정비계획을 수립하였다. 계획의 기본방향은 중심가로 활성화 및 편의시설확충을 통한 녹색농촌관광 거점공간 조성, 광시한우 이미지 고양 및 황새마을 연계강화를 통한 지역이미지 특화공간조성 및 친환경 수변공간을 조성하고자 하였다. 본 계획은 광시면소재지의 쾌적한 정주환경 조성, 생태관광과의 연계를통한 지역경제 활성화, 황새와 공존하는 쾌적한 하천경관형성, 생태계보전을 위한 정비방안을 제시함으로써 광시면소재지가예산군 생태관광거점공간으로서의 기능 담당에 기여할 것이다.

This paper focuses on landscape planning at the regional level. Gwangsi is the seat of the myeon and also the centre of eco-tours in conjunction with the Yedang reservoir. In addition, the white stork(Ciconia ciconiaboyciana) restoration centre, which is called white stork village, is expected to increase the number of visitor and tourist. The concept of these plans is to try to link the Gwangsi korean native cattle town, white stork ecotourism and Gwangsi agriculture farm-village theme park. Moreover, the maintenance plan is to improve the image of the Gwangsi korean native cattle town and the pedestrian environment and streetscape in the urban area. The foundation of the plan is to revitalize the main street, develope green rural tourism base space via facilities expansion, and to improve the image of Gwangsi korean native cattle town. Also it is to create the characteristic area of the region image by strengthening the linkage between the white stork village and the Eco-Environmental waterfront. In conclusion, Gwangsi-myeon is to promote a pleasant residential environment and revive the regional economy via eco-tourism. Moreover, the plan hopes to create pleasant river scenery in which there are areas of coexistence with the white stork while also suggesting a maintenance plan for ecosystem preservation. The objectives of this plan contribute to the function of the eco-tourism base space in Yesan-gun
