본 연구는 스마트교육을 실행하는데 있어 요구되는 교원의 역량을 진단하고 교육요구도를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 전국의 초․중․고등학교 교사 1,066명을 대 상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 조사에 사용된 역량진단 도구는 총 13개 역량, 61개 문항으 로 구성되었다. 보유도-중요도 차이 분석과 Borich 교육요구도 분석을 실시한 결과, 스마트교 육에 대한 교육요구도는 대외협력관계 형성, 평가 및 성찰, 수업설계 및 개발, 내용전문성, 테 크놀로지 리터러시 순으로 높게 나타났다. 학교급별 비교 및 지역별 비교 분석을 실시한 결과, 대외협력관계 형성, 수업설계 및 개발, 평가 및 성찰이 상위 5위의 교육요구도 안에 공통으로 포함되었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 교육요구 수준과 교원연수 프로그램 개발에 대한 시사점을 논의하였다.

This study aims to analyze the educational needs of teacher competencies for implementing SMART education. In order to achieve the research goal, a survey study was conducted to measure teacher competencies at elementary, middle and high school levels. The measurement tool was adapted from existing studies relevant to the teacher competencies for SMART education. The tool includes 61 items on a 6-point Likert scale, measuring current performance and perceived importance as well. The Borich formula was employed for data analysis. The results indicate that the educational needs of competencies on collaborative relationship building with community, evaluation and reflection, instructional design and development, contents expertise, and technology literacy were ranked within top five. Specifically, collaborative relationship building with community, evaluation and reflection, and instructional design and development were highly ranked as common competencies across all of the elementary, middle and high school levels, and also across all regions. The results of this study provide practical implications for designing educational programs for enhancing teacher competencies in successful implementation of the SMART education.
