敎授媒體란 授業을 目的으로 하는 메시지, 곧 授業內容을 傳達하기 위해 使用하는 媒體라고 할 수 있다. 敎授媒體는 분류기준에 따라 다양한 방식으로 구분될 수 있다. 敎授媒體의 活用에 특히 유의할 점은 ‘媒體의 活用보다 媒體의 選定이 더 중요한 것’이며, 敎授媒體 活用의 效果는 매체 자체에 의해 결정되는 것이라기보다는 授業의 目的, 學習者, 方法, 課題 등 수업을 구성하는 다양한 요인들과의 複雜한 關係 속에서 결정된다는 것이다.學校 現場의 漢文敎師를 대상으로 說問을 한 결과 漢文敎師들은 媒體 活用에 대한 重要性과 活用 意志를 강하게 갖고 있으며 媒體를 活用한 授業도 다양하게 진행하고 있는 것으로 조사됐다. 반면 媒體를 活用한 수업을 자주 못하는 이유로는 媒體를 活用할 授業資料의 不足과 媒體를 活用할 專門的 能力의 不足 등을 들고 있다.본 발표문에서는 ASSURE모델의 세 번째 단계인 ‘敎材의 選定, 改造 및 製作段階’와 네 번째 단계인 ‘媒體와 敎材의 活用’ 단계를 기초로 하여 第7次 中學校 漢文 敎科의 媒體 活用 實態를 調査하고 分析하였다. 즉 敎育課程의 內容體系에서 제시하는 교수학습의 핵심요소에 따라서 영역을 나누어서 領域別로 어떤 媒體를 選定하고 製作하였으며, 어떻게 媒體를 授業에 活用하였는지를 調査하고 分析하였다.교사는 授業 目標와 授業 方法에 適合한 媒體를 選定하고 製作活用한다면, 學生들이 수업에 보다 能動的이고 創意的으로 參與하게 될 것이고, 보다 效果的이고 效率的인 漢文 敎育이 이루어질 것이며, 이를 통해 漢文 敎育의 目標 達成에 寄與를 할 것이다.

Instruction media are the media used to convey educational messages and contents. Instruction media can be classified in various ways, depending on the criteria. What one should keep in mind in using instruction media is that the selection of media is more important than the use of media, and that the effect of using instruction media is determined by the complex relationships among the diverse factors in instruction, such as the purpose of instruction, the learners, the methodology, and the assignments, rather than the medium itself. The results of a survey of Chinese schoolteachers who teach writing show that such teachers perceive the importance of the use of instruction media, and that they are already using various such media in their instruction. Their use of such media is limited, however, by the lack of instructional content for such media and the lack of professional ability to utilize such media. In this paper, the status of utilization of instruction media in the 7th middle school Chinese writing course of study is surveyed and analyzed based on the third and fourth stages of the ASSURE model, which involve the selection, reorganization and production of instruction materials, and the utilization of media and instruction materials, respectively. Thus, in accordance with the core factors of instruction on and learning of the contents of a given course of study, what media are selected and produced and how such media have been utilized in instruction are herein surveyed and analyzed. Ifinstructors select, produce and utilize the media that are suitable to their instruction objectives and instruction methods, students will participate more actively and creatively in class work and Chinese writing instruction can be more effectively and efficiently carried out, which will contribute to the achievement of the goal of Chinese writing instruction.
