漢字 敎育의 重要性에 대한 인식과 社會的관심 속에서 최근 들어 漢字 敎育에 대한 열기가 고조되어 漢字敎材出版이 양적으로 급속도로 팽창하고 있다.아울러 家庭과 社會를 중심으로 漢字敎育에 대한 수요가 더욱 확대되어 幼兒를 대상으로 한 漢字敎育이 폭넓게 이루어지고 있다.그러나 지금까지 幼兒漢字敎育에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않고 있다.이러한 점에 着眼하여 본 연구에서는 幼兒漢字敎育의 기초를 다지기 위하여 敎授․學習理論의 최근 동향과 幼兒敎授․學習의 原理를 알아보고,幼兒漢字敎授․學習의 중심적 역할을 하는 敎材의 內容과 敎授․學習方法을 分析한 후 幼兒漢字敎授․學習方案을 제시하였다.교재 분석 결과,각 교재들의 단원 구성 명칭은 서로 다르나 내용 전개는 전시 학습 상기,새로 배운 한자 익히기,확인 및 활용하기,마무리하기로 되어 있었다.교재별로 나름대로 고유한 단원 구성 체제를 갖추고 있지만,각 교재 내에서는 구성 체제가 정형화되어 학습자의 흥미를 유발하기 보다는 일정한 형식의 반복으로 이루어졌다.敎授․學習方法分析결과 도입 단계에서 놀이,이야기,수수께끼,동화,쓰기 학습법 등이 적용되었다.전개 단계에서는 漢字의 形․音․義學習을 위한 敎授․學習方法으로 자원 학습,쓰기 학습,읽기 학습,언어 활용법,문답법 등이 적용되었다.정리 단계에서는 학습 내용을 요약,정리,연습하는 方法으로 놀이,언어 활용법,시청각 학습법,漢字카드와 漢字語카드 활용,만화 활용,쓰기 학습법,신문 활용법 등이 적용되었다.이를 바탕으로 과정별 변인에 따른 幼兒漢字敎授․學習方案과 幼兒漢字敎授․學習의 비고츠키적 접근 방안을 제시하였다.이 연구는 漢字敎育연구의 지평을 幼兒期漢字敎育에까지 넓혀 幼兒漢字敎材의 內容과 敎授․學習方法分析을 통해 幼兒漢字敎授․學習의 실태와 체계성을 검토하고 幼兒漢字敎授․學習方案을 제시하였다는 점에서 意義가 있다.이 연구를 통하여 幼兒漢字敎授․學習의 전 과정을 성급하게 판단하려는 것은 아니다.앞으로 문헌 연구와 질적 연구를 통해 幼兒漢字敎育에 대한 보다 확대된 연구가 이루어지기를 기대한다.

The increasing importance of Chinese character education and more social interest in the education has recently led to greater enthusiasm about the education and rapid increase to the volume of Chinese character textbooks published. With the increasing demands for Chinese character education both at home and in the society for the recent few years, they have also provided a wide range of Chinese character education to children. But there are few studies about that. Recognizing this aspects, this study set out to investigate the latest trends in the teaching and learning theories to consolidate the base of Chinese character education for children, and the principles of teaching and writing for children through literature review. The significance of the study can be found in that it expanded the horizon of Chinese character study to that for children, reviewed the current state and systems of Chinese character teaching and learning for children, and suggested improvement plans. The study didn't intend to make any rapid judgments about the entire process of Chinese character teaching and learning for children. It is expected that there will more expanded researches into Chinese character education for children through literature and qualitative study in the future.
