미각어란 신체내의 자극을 느끼고 인식하는 감각의 한 종류인 미각을 우리의 언어로 표현한 것을 말한다. 기존 연구에서 미각어를 어떻게 분류하는지 그 양상을 살펴보고, 한국어와 중국어 미각어를 의미적 측면에서 살펴보았다. 한국어와 중국어의 미각어에 대해 기본 미각어를 설정하고, ‘맛의 평가’, ‘맛의 정도’의 의미 속성으로 미각어를 분류하고 한국어와 중국어의 미각어를 대조분석하였다.

Taste vocabularies refer to the words which put the sense of taste into our language. This study examined the classification of taste words in the existing studies and investigated the semantic features of Korean and Chinese taste vocabularies. Taste vocabularies of Korean and Chinese were classified according to the semantic features such as ‘evaluation of taste’ and 'degrees of taste' and they were analyzed in a contrastive perspective in the study.
