본고는 한국어 학습자들에게 문법을 효과적으로 교수할 수 있도록 형태초점 과제를 활용하여 문법을 제시하는 방법에 대해 알아보는 데에 목적 이 있다. 이를 위해 형태초점 과제의 유형에 대해 살펴보고 그 중 문법 제시 방법에서 사용할 수 있는 과제의 유형을 추출한 후 과제를 설계, 실제 예를 보였다. 언어교육에서 문법은 의사소통의 정확성을 위해 꼭 필요한 지식 중 하나이다. 한국어 교육에서 문법 교수의 변화는 문법 연습과 생산 방식의 변화에 초 점이 맞춰져 왔다. 그러나 학습자는 능동적으로 지식을 구성해 나가는 존재이기 때문에 학습자의 발견 학습을 촉진시킬 경우 더 효율적인 문법 교수가 가능하다. 이를 위해 기존의 한국어 문법 교육의 제시 단계에서 형태초점 과제를 제시하여 학습자들의 발견 학습을 촉진시킨 후 문법을 설명, 연습, 생산하는 방식으로 진행할 수 있을 것이다.

This article is purported to present ways of teaching grammar by utilizing focus on form tasks to help Korean learners understand the grammar effectively. In this context, we are going to dive into types of focus on form tasks and narrow them down to those applicable to grammar teaching. Followed by this would be to design the tasks with real examples. Grammar is a one of essential knowledge in linguistic education for accurate communication. The shift in Korean grammar teaching has been focused on practicing and the way to produce. Since the learner is active in accumulating knowledge, stimulation to the learner’s observation will make grammar teaching even more effective. Therefore, focus on form tasks should be given at the initial phase of Korean grammar education to promote their observational education then proceed to explain, practice and apply the grammar.
