본 계획은 압해대교 건설에 따라 접근성 향상이 기대되는 압해도에 분재예술공원을 조성하여 신안군으로의 관광수요 유도 및 지역의 상징적 이미지를 부여하고 송공산 웰빙숲의 이용 및 연계계획을 통한 기존시설의 활용 극대화를 목적으로 진행하였다. 대상지는 전라남도 신안군 압해도 송공리 일원으로 부지면적은 28,046㎡이며 송공산을 배후로 바다가 내려다보이는 지역이다. 본 계획의 수행을 위해, 입지환경, 자연환경, 인문환경 분석과 법규검토 등을 시행하였으며 대상지에 적용할 수 있는 분재 및 습지생태공원 등에 대하여 검토하였다. 그리고 현황분석내용과 관련사례 등을 토대로 계획방향을 설정, 기본구상안을 도출하고 기본계획을 수립하였다. 본 계획은 대상지가 보유하고 있는 우수한 생태자연자원을 적극 활용하면서 공원조성으로 인한 훼손은 최소화할 수 있는 공간배치와 지역의 역사문화자원을 적극 활용하는 것을 원칙으로 하였다. 또한 국내유일의 아시아분재공원을 바다가 내려다보이는 위치특성과 습윤지라는 토질환경을 고려하여 계획하였다. 현재 분재예술공원은 조성되어 이용객이 매우 많은 신안군의 대표적인 공원으로 활용되고 있으며 인접한 웰빙숲 및 습지 등과 상호 연계프로그램을 도입하여 시행하는 공원으로 자리매김하고 있다.
This purpose of this plan is to create a Bonsai art park in Aphae Island. Accessibility to the park is expected to increase because of the construction of Aphae Bridge, and this will increase tourism and boost Sinan-gun's local symbolic image. It will also maximize utilization of the existing facilities by using the well-being forest of the Songkong Mountain and connected plans. The plan area (28,046 ㎡) includes Songkong-ri, Aphae Island, Sinan-gun, and Jeollanam-do, an area overlooking the sea with the Songkong Mountain in the background. The author conducted an analysis of the general environment, natural ecology, and humanistic environment and examined the laws and acts, the bonsai art parks, and wetland ecological parks that may be applied to the area. Based on the analysis of the present state and relevant cases, the author established the direction of the plan and concept plan to determine the master plan. The principles of this plan include that superior ecological natural resources of the area are actively utilized, that spaces are arranged to minimize damage to the park, and that local resources of history and culture are actively utilized. This Asian Bonsai art park will be the only one of its kind in Korea, and great emphasis was placed on its location overlooking the sea and its wetland position. The Bonsai art park has already been created and is being utilized as the representative part of Sinan-gun with abundant users. It serves as a park with interlinking programs connecting it with the existing well-being forest and surrounding wetlands.
