본 연구는 기독교사회복지를 신약 성경 속에서 고찰하였다. 신약성경속에서 가장 핵심적인 사상이라고 할 수 있는 것이 바로 하나님 나라이다. 예수님께서 이 땅에 오셔서 하나님 나라를 선포하셨다. 따라서 먼저 신약성경의 핵심 주제라 할 수 있는 하나님 나라에서 나타난 기독교사회복지를 고찰하였다. 하나님의 나라가 임할 때 온전한 치유와 회복이 일어나는 것을 알 수 있다. 이것은 진정한 복지는 하나님의 나라가 임할 때 가능하다는 것을 보여주는 것이다. 그러므로 기독교사회복지의 목표는 하나님의 나라를 바라보게 하는 한다. 두 번째로 신약성경에서 언급하고 있는 이웃사랑의 실천은 기독교사회복지의 실천 동기로 제시될 수 있다. 그런데 여기서 말하는 이웃사랑은 하나님 사랑이 전제된 이웃사랑이다. 하나님의 사랑이 먼저 전제된 이웃사랑이 바로 기독교사회복지의 실천 동기라 할 수 있다. 마지막으로 디아코니아 사상은 기독교사회복지에서 다루는 중요한 핵심 개념인 ‘섬김, 봉사’의 정신의 근거가 된다. 따라서 기독교사회복지사의 역할은 바로 디아코니아를 행하는 것이라 할 수 있다.

This research is consideration of Christian social welfare in the view of the New Testament. The core of the New Testament is the Kingdom of God. Jesus has proclaimed the kingdom of God in this world. So I considered the Christian social welfare which is seen in the Kingdom of God which is the main theme of the New Testament. We know that when the Kingdom of Heaven comes, true recovery of man is achieved. That means the true social welfare can be done when the Kingdom of god comes. That's why the goal of christian social welfare is the realization of the Kingdom of God. Secondlly. love for the neighbor can be motivation of the practice of the Christian social welfere. We can love our neighbor when we love our God first. Last, the philosophy of diaconia is the basis of 'service and voluntary'. So the role of Christian social welfare worker can be practicing the diaconia.
