본 연구에서는 국내 트위터 이용의 공간분포 특징을 분석하였다. 2014년 11월 한달 동안 트위터 스트리밍 API를 통해 수집한 정보를 대상으로 좌표값을 갖는 지오트윗에 대한 분석을 하였다. 파이썬 프로그래밍을 이용하여 데이터의 수집 및 GIS데이터의 자료변환을 하여 분석을 수행하였다. 국내 트위터 이용은 서울을 중심으로 하는 대도시 지역에 집중하여 분포하고 있고 소수의 헤비유저들이 다수의 트윗을 작성하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 트윗의 시계열 분석 결과는 하루 중에는 오후 2시에 최고점을 이루고 주말에 최고점을 이루고 있는 특징을 보여주었다. 이와 함께, 텍스트 분석을 통해 리트윗의 높은 비중과 지역마다 나타나는 콘텐츠의 차이점들도 확인할 수 있었다.

In this study, we analyzed the distribution of Korean geotweet. Geotweet was analyzed, which was collected at November 2014 through Twitter Streaming API. Using the Python programming, it was carried outto analyze the collected data and GIS data conversion. Twitter use and distribution are concentrated at Seouland the metropolitan areas and a few heavy users were creating a large number of tweets. Time series analysis showed the characteristics of the tweets that make up the highest point on the Weekend and forms the highestpoint at 14:00 during the day. In addition, differences in the content that appears every high percentage of retweets and regions through text analysis were also identified.
