【벼리】다문화가족과 그 자녀들을 위한 정책은 재한외국인 처우 기본법과 다문화가족 지원법을 근거로 동화주의적 입장에서 시행되어 왔다. 그러나, 한국이 문화다양성 보호협약에 가입을 한 후, 이 협약을 이행하기 위해 문화 기본법과 문화다양성 보호법을 제정, 시행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 법령의 내용을 살펴보고, 앞으로 다문화가족과 그 자녀들에 관한 정책을 시행함에 있어 문화적 다양성 보호법에 근 거하여 “문화적 다양성 정책”을 수립하여야 한다. 그리고, 문화다양성을 반영한 정책 수립할 때는 정부와 민간, 학계가 함께 나서서 정책을 수립해야 한다.

The aims of this research are to grasp the supporting volition of the government as increasing multicultural family and discussing direction of the work and program for them. Therefore, this article inquired into the structure and the view through the supporting the law and policy of multicultural family, cultural diversity convention and Cultural diversity law. As a result, this article implied the mutual direction of effect based on promoting the character of a cultural diversity between multicultural family and others. This study establishes an effective multicultural youth policies and provide basic data in performing the study's significance.
