【벼리】현재 한국어 교재에서 많은 문학 텍스트가 수록되어 있지만 학습자들의 언어 능력이나 배경 지식, 의미 해독의 어려움을 덜어주고 언어 습득에 도움을 줄 수 있도록 수정하여 제시하는 경우가 많다. 또한 교실 수업이라는 상황과 학습자의 학습 효율을 고려하여 텍스트의 길이나 수준을 적절하게 수정할 필요가 있지만 명확한 기준 없이 교 사나 교재 집필자가 임의로 개작하는 경우가 많다. 이에 본 연구에서는 개작이 두드러지게 나타나는 전래 동화 중 한국 문화의 특수성과 보편적인 주제를 함께 가지고 있는 대표적인 작품인 ‘흥부와 놀부’가 한국어 교재에서의 어떤 개작 양상을 보이는지 살펴본다. 이를 바탕으로 앞으로 한국어교육에서 문학 텍스트의 개작의 기초 자료를 제시하고자 한다.

Even though Korean teaching materials today include a number of literary works, most of the works are presented in adapted form. This method can relieve the difficulties of understanding the meaning of the original story considering the level of linguistic competence or background knowledge of leaners. In addition, it also helps enhance learning efficiency of the learners in general classroom settings. However, because of being no clear standard for modifying the originals, there are a lot of cases for arbitrary adaptations practiced by teachers or teaching material writers. Therefore, this study will show how the adaptation is practiced in korean teaching materials by using “Heungbu and Nolbu” which has distinctive aspects of the adaptation as a typical traditional folk tale including the uniqueness of Korean culture and universal topic. Futhermore, on the basis of the research, this study will suggest basic data on adaptation of literary works for future of Korean language education.
