Netelia Gray, 1860, a largest genus within the subfamily Tryphoninae and its distribution is worldwide. The members of Netelia are known to be ectoparastic koinobionts of lepidopteran larvae. More than 330 species have so far been recorded and divided into 12 subgenera.
Among them, the subgenus Amebachia Uchida, 1928 was reported as a genus by Uchida (1928) based on Amebachia baibarana from Taiwan. The lectotype of Amebachia baibarana Uchida, 1928, was re-examined and then this species should be a subgenus of the genus Netelia by Konishi (2010). Consequently, five currently valid species of Netelia (Amebachia) have been described in the world.
As a result of the present study, the subgenus Amebachia belonging to the genus Netelia is reported from South Korea for the first time based on a species of Netelia (Amebachia) rasilella and N. (A.) yoshimatsui. Redescriptions and photographs of the diagnostic characters of two species are provided.
