본 연구는“발레 수강생을 위한 발레용어 표기분석에 관한 제언”으로 현재, 발레 교육현장에 서는 발레용어 발음이 많이 개선되어 활용되고 있지만, 발음에 있어서 개인의 발레 용어 학습 경험에 따라 개인적으로 발음이 조금씩 다르다. 프랑스어인 발레용어는 기존의 표기법보다는 현 시대에 맞는 발음현상에 가까운 표기법으로 발레용어를 표준화 하여야 한다. 이러한 점에서, 발레동작 수행 시 수강자가 발레를 이해하기 쉽도록 원음과 음성적인 발음에 가까운 발음으로 사용하도록 더욱 체계적으로 연구하는 계기를 마련해야 하는 것으로 본 논문 에서는 다음과 같이 논하였다. 첫 번째, 발레용어 표기 분석을 위해 프랑스어 발음을‘모음자’,‘반모음자’,‘자음자’로 살펴 보고, 발레용어에 대해서 발음을 분석하였다. 두 번째, 프랑스어의 음성적인 발음 중 가장 독특하고, 설명이 요구되는 프랑스어의‘R’발음 에 대해 특이할 만한 사항을 부연 설명하였다. 세 번째, 발레용어 선행논문 및 서적별 활용 분석을 통하여 연구에 활용한 발레용어의 한글표 기를 분석하여 다양하게 활용되는 발레용어를 외래어 표기법에 준하여 제시용어로 제언하였다. 이러한 결과로, 무용 수강생들이 발레이론을 실기와 마찬가지로 학습하는 데 있어서, 통일된 발레용어를 통하여 발레를 이해하는데 중요한 역할을 지니도록 하며, 학문적 지도에서 원활하게 소통하도록 하고 다양한 접근 방법을 통해서 무용예술을 이해시키는 계기를 마련하고자 하였다.

This research is“The proposal about the writing analysis of ballet terms for ballet students.” Presently, in the spot of ballet education the pronunciation of ballet terms that is improved substantially is being used. But, it is slightly different depending on the personal learning experience of ballet terms. The ballet terms as French should be pronounced according to the phonetic transcription of original sound corresponding with“the loanword orthography” in the spelling system of Hangul, studied in tune with the times, rather than existing pronunciation. In this respect, this research studied that the opportunity for the more systematic research should be given to use the pronunciation similar to original sound for understanding ballet more easily in performing ballet. First of all, for the writing analysis of ballet terms, this research investigated pronunciation of French as“a vowel”,“a semivowel”,“a consonant” and analyzed the pronunciation of ballet terms. Secondly, this research expatiated on special points about the“R”pronunciation which is most unique among pronunciations of French and needs more explanations. In the conclusion, for the development of the ballet, this research proposed that the base of the ballet development should be arranged, analyzing the systematic and theoretical pronunciation in learning accurate pronunciation and meaning of ballet terms and promoting the understanding of the ballet.
